In Japan, the fish that can be caught depends on the region and season. I'm a Japanese living in Kanagawa, but I've never had sashimi with a tail head of humphead parrotfish. It looks so blue that I'm confused.
I use them to help me sleep at night. My insomnia is off the chain. There's just something about the background noises like the crowd in the background, the utensils making contact with various surfaces, the filming techniques used i.e. close inspection of the subject. Close focus, the handling of the food, showing it off slowly. No one blabbering about what they're doing or way they're doing it, no obnoxious techno, or dubstep music in the background (which I'm not against and DO like, but ya know? Some vids with it are SO annoying!) you're in the moment. It reminds me of a skill used in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Mindfulness. These vids are actually a great companion for dbt, cbt (cognitive behavioral therapy.) It's really nice and calming. I guess it depends on the REASON one likes these vids and keep coming back to them FOR that REASON. Looks like there's a few folks who agree that the vid does infact have a relaxing quality, but can't quite put a finger on just what that quality is. All of these visuals and back ground sounds have qualities that are relaxing or calming for some people. There are even apps that come with some of these sounds meant to relax and calm you. Even down to the low level mumbling sounds of a crowd in public. Cheers to +Travel Thirsty. Most incredible tasting fish I have EVER tasted! Because they live on pristine coral reefs and ONLY eat coral their flesh is prized for being so clean, and white, and firm ... I personally think it tastes more like lobster tail than fish! It's considered to be a great delicacy .. gorgeous!
