Super excited for this build having just completed 2 ground up rebuilds on the same bikes.
A couple of quick points that might help out:
    - Front forks and wheel on your bike are currently mounted backwards. The disc and caliper go on the left side of the bike and the caliper arm extends to the front of the left fork (not behind the right)
    - Ground for the starter solenoid is introduced at the handlebars, the stock push button touches the bars (which are grounded) to complete the circuit. I think the way you have the starter wired is correct, just need the starter button on the bars to complete the circuit.
    - The extra length in the wiring harness is due to it being routed incorrectly upfront. I can flick you a few photos to show the path as trying to explain is difficult.
    - Check the top of the crankcase for two dots : near the engine number. These indicate that the recall for the cam chain guide and tensioner have been carried out. Even if it is stamped it's worth changing them out for updated after market items (common motor collective and the likes sell replacements)
Really looking forward to the build, the little 360 is underrated, they are a great bike once you iron out the little problems.

DUDE! Thank you! Ha ha makes sense about the brakes, I feel like I'm gonna have to deal with all kinds of these little 'mods' the last guy did. Would love to have a couple of pics of the stock harness location, especially where the controls fit in... combustionjunction8@gmail.com. Will def look out for the dots. Great info all around! Cheers!

No problem, glad info was helpful. I'll get some photos/video of the harness to you in next couple of days, just got to find time to get out in the garage.
👍 Yell out if there's anything else you need, shop manual etc.

Loved the shoutout to mustie1!!! You are every bit of genius tinkerer that he is in my humble opinion. I get the same satisfaction and desire to “tinker” watching your vids as I do watching his. You’ve kept me up late night and yawning my ass off at work with your excellent content. Love your vids and editing and your persona. You’re just a chill great guy that can wrench like a boss.

Just subscribed too you're channel, anyway I'm an old guy about to try and build my first bike for my Bucket list 😁.anyway wondering what is the best way too check not running engines too know if they are any count because I'm doing most of the bike from salvage Thanks

Hey Patrick, Thanks for watching! If the engine can kick over, you're halfway there. A seized engine is definitely more work, but still doable (you may have to go deeper inside). Pistons and rings are pretty easy to deal with. My parts bike engine is seized and there is no saving it.... If it does kick than a compression tester may give you more answers (sometimes - depends how long it's been sitting) Generally my rule is that the overall condition of the bike will give hints to the health of the engine. Hope that helps! Good luck!

is the CJ360 parts bike swingarm for sale by chance? I've been looking for one for my CL360, since the CJ swingarm is 1" longer

@@Beachmangarage Darn! My fault for not checking out all your vids! looks great so far by the way. My bike is on instagram as the_tokyo_express if you want to check it out. You mentioned you found a CB360 guru, but if you have any questions, I'm sure my dad (who worked for Honda motorcycles when these things were built!) or I can try to help! Cheers and keep up the good work!
