Getting a pool torn down and rebuilt is SUPER expensive, especially here in California. If the pool is beyond repair or prevention, then yes, totally agree that replacing it is the best option.
Nope, not even close. I'm guessing this lady spent about 30k for the repairs and seal coat. To replace that pool would be about 100k probably, more. I'm no mathmatologist, but I'm pretty sure '100' is a bigger number than '30'.
