Finally, someone who understands my frustration with the ''Mario is a jerk'' parody trope. I really like all the characters in the Mario world so mischaracterizing them maliciously like that always got on my nerves too.
It's a stock parody thing in general for traditionally heroic characters to be portrayed as bad people. While Mario is the go-to example of the trope's saturation, practically any famous pop culture hero character has been treated in such a matter by parodies. Whether using Mario as a stand-in for Nintendo when criticizing/satirizing their business practices (akin to what people do for Mickey Mouse and Disney), or the stuff like "Mario abuses Yoshi and Luigi and commits mass genocide on Goombas". The latter I'm not sure if that's more groan-inducing to see than 'Mushrooms are drugs' when people are parodying the Mario franchise. I feel its more just lazy then malicious.
If I had a dollar for every time you added an extra s to a possessive noun (Marios's, Warios's, Nintendos's, Rares's, Donkey Kongs's), I'd have a good amount of dollars
Nice to see a comment mentioning that series, and each time I see it mentioned, I inmediately think of the fact that said series was dubbed here in Chile!
I want to believe the top of toad's head is a hat but it is not. Shigeru Miyamoto contradicts Mario Mario and Luigi Mario which is confusing but I'm glad it confirms that their last name is Mario. Also, the Charles Martinet Rumor in Super Mario Bros. Pinball is quite suspicious and fascinating. I did watched AndratVo video "Mario's Voice: The Early Days" before this video, and it did confirmed who voice Mario in this pinball game.
The info about Martinet not voice Mario for the Mario Pinball machines is really insane if true, but I still believe it could very well be Charles Martinet. It may sound different from how he sounds in Mario Teaches Typing, but it still sounds a lot like Charles to me, he just sounds like a less exaggerated take on Mario. It's not unreasonable to believe that he didn't just change his voice overtime. Also, there was a post around 6 years ago on reddit about someone claiming that he met Martinet at a convention and he allegedly claimed that he did infact voice Mario for the machine, but they used his voice without permission. There's even a picture of the machine art with Martinet's signature on it which definitely proves that the meeting did take place. The timeline also lines up with when he first started voicing Mario, he's stated before that he voiced him as early as 1990. So either somebody's misremembering, or somebody's lying.
I am Waluigi himself and yes my previous name WAS Jimmy Poppadopolos and yes I am Greek and YES I was a struggling actor AND YES I was in a romantic relationship with Wario so uh no you are wrong please reconsider your actions
I had a mic issue for a while were my computer wouldn't recognize it as a yeti mic. Which resulted in slightly lower quality audio. That was actually the reason why I hardly did any videos that required recording for a time. Fortunately, I just recently fix the problem shortly after this video's post-production. So the mic should sound normal again in future videos.

Player drops baby penguin off a cliff, blames Mario. It’s NEVER the player’s fault or idea (sarcasm)

I think Smosh got that right.
It's true, in the video "If video games were real", Mario jumps up with his fist to hit the block.
Happy Birthday Lane
It's not even my birthday. Not until next month at least.
@@KingLaneCreations Oh Please
The super effect trip might not be real, but we can at least all agree that every copy of Mario 64 is personalized
I've actually believe Charles Martinet voiced Mario in the Gottlieb pinball games! Now I know

What happened to the mic? It sounds so echoing

Real Life Mario and Luigi
Wario and Waluigi
Where did that "That's Not Mario" image come from? Just wondering that's all.
I made that for a community post I made a while ago.
