- Adine’s research trip to Kenya was part of a photographic safari with Daryl & Sharna Balfour, leading wildlife photographers and authors in Africa. In part three, she meets Townsend the Tusker and spends time with cattle egrets.
Such such scenery, Townsend the Tusker is absolutely breathtaking ❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️
@ctrl_alt_delete4729 Isn't he stunning? I could sit and watch Townsend, Craig and these amazing Big Tuskers all day. 💙🐘💙🙏🏻 I pray for their survival.
Thank you for letting us watch this beautiful elephant. He has such a peaceful presence. Prescious moments.
The egrets and the elephants, a working relationship. A new tidbit of information. Beautiful tusker Townsend and the lovely landscape makes for fun viewing. Thank you
Beautiful how they peacefully work together. Such a gorgeous elephant Townsend is. Thank you for this video.
Nature never disappoints with the ellies and birds being helpful to each other! People need to learn from nature!
Wonder if they like horse flies? 🐴🥹
Such a noble elephant. Thank you for protecting these magnificent creatures❤
Townsend you are very gorgeous and elegant. Your little friends are very cute. May God bless you with good health and good time. 🙏🙏
Gorgeous bull! Adine, the elephant whisperer. I adore.❤
She really is!
🌍🌿🐘💙
Dear Adine, aww, the sound of your voice calmed Townsend's concern immediately.
🌍🌿🐘🌳💙
I forget how enormous Africa is ~ that such unique flora & fauna exist from coast to coast.
Thank you for these virtual postcards of Earth's greatest treasures. Habitat is everything.

@mortalclown3812 That is the absolute truth about Adine's voice. She came calm any animal it seems. She's got the touch and they instinctively recognize her as safe and respectful. Blessings. 🐘🕊🇺🇸
Townsend is amazing as are all of the "Tuskers." How wonderful they have the time and space to grow so magnificent. The scenery, as others have said, is so beautiful. So vast and open. If you live in a town or community, you never have this view! At least in the US. I have seen egrets with elephants before. They do a great service eating bugs!
Com'è bello quel bull chiaro! E che zanne lu ghe che ha questo bellissimo elephants, grazie del video.😊
I love seeing these super tuckers. They are magnificent creatures.
To be in the presence of these iconic creatures would be a dream come true. They are truly magnificent. Descendents of the Woolly Mammoths from a time long before mankind arrived and, to my eternal shame, began to capture and kill them. I just feel enormous gratitude to see them even if only on video. Thank you to all the people who protect them. We should treat them with the enormous respect they deserve. We cannot afford to lose them. Mankind should leave them in peace and, just like Adine is doing, merely observe them and appreciate what a Gift from God they are.
Thank you for sharing this Adine. Stay Safe Townsend. 🙏
@janparish7895 Hi there, my friend. I agree 💯% with your comment. Greed and power-hungry humans will be the end of this fragile planet we call home. Must learn to live with other inhabitants in a peaceful and respectful manner. Hope you're feeling well and enjoying your weekend. Take care.🐘💜🕊🤓🇺🇸
@susanfeneley Hello Susan and Thank You. We still - only just - have a beautiful planet, and one which benefits so much from these wonderful creatures. I wish everyone felt as we do. It's beyond my comprehension why anyone could harm any living creature. If only poachers would swap greed and profit for appreciation. If I should ever see a Big Tusker, I know I would cry. I'm sorry to say there are some very warped people in this world but I am so, so grateful for those who love and protect all animals. I am well thank you and hope you are too. Take care of yourself Dear Friend 💙🐘💙🍁🍂😊🫂🙏🏻
So peaceful. Exquisitely beautiful. The sounds are so soothing. Thank you, Townsend, for allowing this visit. You are stunningly handsome.🙏 🐘❣️❣️❣️❣️
its like a painting the tusker with the white birdies around him its beyond humbling this scene, may God protect you all♥
Hello Adine, I always love your beautiful elephants, Townsend is so handsome. 😊
🐾💚🍼🐘🙏Darling Miesiekind Adine, thank you for being an extraordinary Woman!!! Your next mission is to ask the Range Rover/Jeep companies to create a device to silent the engines when they start the ignition...what do you think about this?!? Bless your heart for showing the world the magnificent cause of respecting, protecting and love the Animal Cause!!!🙏🐘🍼💚🐾
WOW WHAT A PRETTY ELEPHANT THANK YOU
Gorgeous.👍🙋🏻♀️
Thank you Adine and to the rangers who lead you to Townsend ❤️🐘❤️He looks younger than Craig and pascal ? may be ? but they are all so quiet ! use to meet human without any close contact !! they are so impressive and beautiful ! a very very rare and unforgettable meeting !!!🌱🐘🌿🐘🍃🌳
Wow, thank you. Townsend is a fantastic elephant
Just wonderful ❤
THANK YOU FOR SHARING ADINE! HELLO BEAUTIFUL TOWNSEND AND ELEPHANTS! BE SAFE ALWAYS.🫶🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🫶
Long live in strength, health, peace and happiness, precious Charlie with your beautiful tusks, South Africa's last zoo elephant, recently moved from Pretoria Zoo to Shambala Privat Game Reserve after 40 years spent in circus and zoo.🤩💙🐘🍀🌳🤞✌️🌈🇿🇦 Huge thanks to Four Paws' vets and everyone who contributed to this, for their dedicated work. I am moved to tears.😍🙏🐾🐾
Elephants, egrets, bugs, humans it's all connected. We are one.
I love how he is just chilling and minding his own business.
Magnificent! Thanks for sharing.
J'adore ❤❤❤
That’s called a symbiotic relationship, the birds Benifit from elephants after they move so they can clean up the bugs and helps the elephants and all around…….🐘💙
Very interesting to see the tuskers and learn about the egrets and how they help one another. So nice to meet magnificent Townsend!🐘
What a privilege seeing Townsend. Very majestic and quite gentle. Beautiful Big Boy. Thk u Adine and Guide for sharing your visit to see Townsend and thk u Townsend too 🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰🐘xxx
Thank you for sharing these large tusk elephants.
I pray for these amazing elephants and for those who provide protection for them. We can not afford to lose these magnificent creatures! Thank you, Adine, for sharing this experience with us!
Thank you for sharing these videos with us. Not everyone will get the privilege of visiting Kenya, and this way we can still appreciate the conservation work
Adine can you speak more about your trip and what you found to us please. In a separate video? Thank you! Beautiful Townsend the Tusker!
He is a truly stunning elephant… ❤
These bulls are some of the most beautiful and important creatures on our planet, glad they receive such wonderful protection
Amazingly beautiful. So lovely to see, especially from our urban setting. Pure nature, that must be protected.
Townsend is a majestic elephant.💙🐘🍀 How wonderful nature is that these gentle giants live in such a peaceful symbiosis with the small white birds, the Cattle Egrets. Both species benefit from this symbiosis.💚🐘🕊💚🐞🦟
@Dnvr8083 Hello my friend! Isn't this a great video? Adine has such a way with all animals. There's something in her voice they recognize that says caring and respect. So special to observe. Hope you're well and having a good weekend. Been rather warm here lately, but the forecast is for a rough winter so we'd better soak it up. I figured we'd pay for the fairly easy winter we had this past year.😮🐘🙋♀️🫂🧦🦢🇺🇸

Hello my dear Susan!👋 Thanks, I'm fine, hope you are too.🙏 Beautiful videos from Kenya, feel nostalgic because I visited Amboseli National Park in 1999.❤️🖤💚 And yes, Adine is an awesome elephant whisperer.
The weather here changed dramatically in the middle of the week. After 95°F heat and several weeks of drought, it became 59°F almost overnight, then 40-46°F and often heavy rains all day long.😳 So I urgently need a good pair of warm socks!🧦😅 Hungarian rivers are flowing. The water is coming, while the grass is still burnt by the sun! On Thursday, the river Danube is expected to peak near Budapest, somewhere around 26-29 feet, at my place in Gyor, the rivers will peak in the next few days, at the beginning of the week. After that, calmer, sunny days follow. In Austria, where this weather front came from, there were quite dramatic floods.
Take care, dear friend! Sending big hugs and blessings!💞🫂🦢🍁🌧🌊🧦🙋🏻♀️
Another fantastic video from Adine of her visit to Kenya. These super tuskers are a sight to behold. Thank you so much Adine. Kenya is the only country I would love to revisit from my traveling days years ago!
Lovable, wonderful 😍. I wish him a long life ❤🐘❤. Thank you for this video ❣🌹.
Hi my dear sister!👋 How are you doing? Another amazing Kenyan video from Adine of another great Super Tusker.💙🐘🍀
Imagine, in the first half of the week, the heat wave ended in one day in Hungary, the daytime temperature became 8-12°C and it rained a lot, every day, heavily. You must have read and seen what terrible destruction the flood caused in Austria and Czechia.😲😫 In Hungary, it is expected that the flood will subside.🤞🍀 In my place of residence, in Gyor, the flood will peak today and tomorrow, in Budapest, the Danube river is expected to peak by the end of the following week, at about 9 meters.
Take care, dearest Anita! I wish you a beautiful evening and peaceful night!💞🌜🌠👭🫂🙋🏻♀️
@@Dnvr8083 Hi, my dear sister! Sorry for delaying my answer. Yes, it was great video 🐘🌳💙. I haven't read news. Oh, horrible how heat ended up on you 😨😯!!. Are you safe? I pray that the flood will go down 🙏. I send prayers, my dear sister, take care 💞🙏🫂👭. I am fine.
@@anitasyvalahti1730 Thank you dear Anita. Everything is fine with me at the moment, I don't live right next to the rivers but a little further away. Starting today, there will be no rain for one week but sunny and cloudy weather is expected, with a temperature of 22-24°C, so the situation is expected to improve.🙏🌞🍁😀💞👭🫂🙋🏻♀️
@@Dnvr8083 Thank goodness, dear sister 🙏. The weather looks good 😃🍁🍂🌻.🙏🌞👭👥 🙋♀️
@@Dnvr8083 I send reply on my phone. 😀🍁🍂🌻🌞🙋♀, hugs!
Mind blown! The energy is palpable🦣. What an amazing experience!
I really love the peaceful and harmonious relationship of the ellies among each other and with the Egret birds. The fact that the ellies, like Townsend, who are very huge and with deadly tusks do not scare and drive away small creatures like the white birds because of their gentle nature, is just so amazing. I will never get tired of saying and thinking that they are beautiful, majestic, and magnificent creatures. Thank you for sharing your experience, Adine. Elephants are truly blessings for all mankind. I hope all people are like those at HERD and those who are protecting Townsend and his kind to ensure their survival and future. God Bless You All.🙏🐘❤
💕
Blessing to them all. Townsend you are a beautiful lad. May your life be long and peaceful. Thank you Adine for sharing your journey with us all. Much gratitude, love and hugs. ❤️❤️🐘❤️❤️
You are so welcome, thanks for watching the video.
Beautiful 💖 ❤❤✨️✨️✨️
Please protect them all!!❤❤🐘🐘🐘🦒🦒🦒🦏🦏🦏🐃🐃🐃🦌🦌🦌🦓🦓🦓❤🍀🌳🌳🌿🌱☘️🌾🌾
Absolutely beautiful creatures. I'm so happy that they are protected by the authorities and the people that live around the park
So beautiful, thank you for bringing us along on this amazing journey, Townsend he's magnificent what a precious Boy, love the beautiful white birds around them 🫶🐘 thank you Rangers for keeping all of them safe 🪄🫶🐘💖
🙏
Live on my beautiful, gentle giant❤😊
Townsend needs his own youtube channel. I would watch it.
So heartwarming and amazing to know these Majestic creatures like Townsend are still here thanks to the Vigilant and protective people of Kenya 🙏❤️🦣 These are treasures who deserve to live their lives without the threat of mindless humans who value nothing. Thank you for sharing the secret and sacred lives of the Beautiful Tuskers we are still so blessed to have. 🙏❤️🦣❤️🙏
I need to start with Part 1. So happy to see you exploring the Super Tuskers and elephants in Kenya. I spent 16 days in Kenya 2 months ago. It was excruciating to lose 5 SuperTuskers to trophy hunters January to April. Loving elephants is so much joy and so much pain. I need to find PART 1 of your journey and not watch this. :)
Hello there! I read about the loss of the 5 Super Tuskers.😐 It happened in Tanzanian territory because Amboseli elephants used to migrate across the border and trophy hunting is allowed in Tanzania. As far as I know, there is an agreement between Kenya and Tanzania, according to which it is forbidden to use a trophy hunting license in relation to Amboseli elephants migrating across the border. Yet they were hunted down. What a horrible crime against nature and species! Shame!🤔😭😡
❤ Glorious, thank you! ❤
He's a real beauty, but all elephants are Intelligent and beautiful. Thank you for sharing this lovely video! 🌄💗🐘
I wonder what Mambo would think of Townsend? He certainly has some authority and respect about him..❤🐘
AMAZING HOW THEY HELP EACH OTHER!
First of all, our little Schnoodle may be small, but she has a HUGE Bark, so she can compete with the Super Tuskers!! And we have the cattle egrets following the cows around near us, reminding me of destroyers around an aircraft carrier. Is that Mount Kilimanjaro in the background? What a beautiful view! 🥰
My goodness, Natures beauty , and the way it all works never fails to greatly impress . Such an amazing and beautiful world...... then we have the human beings . Many are wonderful, kind and good and do so much to nurture the animal kingdom . .
Thank you Adine and the team for showing and sharing this.
Elephants are such beautiful animals
Thanks again Adine for showing us an amazingly beautiful tusker! It was exciting to recognize an eating habit of removing the dirt before eating --something I learnt on your elephant behavior series -- how exciting! I was also wondering how he could use such massively long tusks, when he then began breaking apart a branch with his right tusk - LOVE the channel!!
Townsend is such a majestic elephant. He stands so tall and stately with his impressive tusks. It is so good to know that he is well protected by people who care about his well being, and yet he can live freely as an elephant.
Beautiful. Adine, have you visited a elephant named Rambo? He's huge with crossed tusks.
Townsend is a magnificent bull but I still love sebakwe
Yes, he is ours!😄👍
Thank you for sharing, such a life changing Visit Adine!!
What wonderful beings thesr boys are, so unique & rare now. The most precious ones..
That driver, clearly making Townsrnd react for Photograohic impact 😢
But I guess, it all helps to keep Tourists happy.
At least you could reassure & read him!
Townsend is white, not Albino like Khaniysa! What a sight to see.
I always giggle, at Americans lack of knowledge, displayed by their questions.
But at least they come to spend money, that is the important thing.
I'm amazed we get Eygrets here now too!! Even in my little Rural Town in Sometset UK. One gets chased off our local Pond, by our Resident Swans!
Not far away, near Glastonbury, we have manmade Wetlands. I even saw a Glossy Ibis one evening, was thrilled. The person I was with, a hardened Twitcher, was very surprised too lo.
Have a terrific trip 💯👏🫶🦁🐘🐆🦏🦓🐃🦒🙏
Fwiw, respectfully,
the men who work on the Amboseli Reserve are immensely qualified: they're absolutely not the kind of bus drivers who thoughtlessly startle elephants for the benefit of ignorant tourists.
(I'm not saying those guides don't exist, only that this gentleman is decidedly not one of them.)
He was simply letting the people know they were about to leave. The added element of Townsend's musth made a 'heads up' wise and considerate.
@@mortalclown3812 apologies for making the assumption 🤔😔
With the tatters on his right ear, he reminds me of Lundi!
My morning fix never ever disappoints !
What happens as his tusks continue to grow and they possibly cross over each other? Does that effect their ability to forage and eat?
Thank you never seems quite enough for bringing these beautiful animals to us. Thank you Adine for the Honor. They are majestic, take my breath away! suzanne usa
It gives us great pleasure to share this with you.
A wonderful Elephant and so big but the white birds don't fear him at all. Peaceful living and should be the way Humans exist! Thank you All and bless you for sharing your videos!❤🍁🙋♀️🇨🇦🐘🙏🐘🙏🐘🙏🐘🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
So handsome!! ❤❤ big beautiful boy 🐘
Beautiful creature of God.
Thank you!!
Oh myyy
The birds are friends with the ellies... how precious ❤❤❤
Wow! Impressive. 💜🐘💜
Absolutely stunning Townsend is very peaceful and beautiful homestead he has there with Mountain's background❤🙏i pray every bull we have seen has a long healthy life! Thank you Adobe for taking us along with the journey! Are they seeing same death rate for new born calves there in their area?
He is absolutely glorious!! It is heartbreaking to know that he is one of the last few of his kind that once roamed our Mother Africa free and in abundance.
🙏🦣🦣🩷, yes, it is very sad.
Such beautiful country❤
I see this is part 3 of your adventure to Kenya Adine. I have been out of the Country on a cruise for the past week so I am trying to play catch-up with HERD 🐘. Townsend is a beautiful tusker. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us. I have to go and try and find part 2. Have a wonderful day ❤️🐘❤️
Welcome back Dorothy, we hope you had a wonderful time.

@@herdelephantorphanage oh thank you so much. Yes I had a wonderful time ❤️🐘❤️
Thanks for explaining about the birds! I thought they were after the worms when elephants pull out weeds and roots. I loved how Towsend reacted to the engine, but didn't stop eating! What an amazing place! ♥ 🐘🌳
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for all your support.
I hope he has a body guard too, surprised he was submissive and didn't charge the jeep. Beautiful and almost made me cry.
Beautiful !🐘❤️
He has ginormous kissing tusks. What a handsome bull. Fishan has my heart.
Elephant and birds are very old friends. ❤️🐘❤️
This is really breathtaking in East Africa’s Kenya as we can see not only the elephants of Amboseli but also Mount Kilimanjaro. Hope you can film of elephant herds in Kenya’s Amboseli not only the tuskers! 🐘 🇰🇪 ❤️
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
His color is unique! So handsome!
Do they help him find a mate to keep them from going extinct?
Even tuskers calm down by Adine’s voice!
Townsend is absolutely magnificient ! He is also very patient with the tourists though ge didn't like the noise*and may be the smell as well) of the engine of the jeep
Magnificent ❤
Townsend is a very handsome man 🥰❤️🐘😀
Gorgeous. I love all of these tuskers names. I understand that the first letter is the same as their mothers. So Craig’s mothers name was Cassandra, but did they say the other mother’s names before and I just missed it?
I wonder what the elephants in Adines Herd would make of the big tuskers like Townsend?
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I saw this video already ...
I love how Adine's making different videos for each of the tuskers
🌍🌿🐘💙
Beautiful big boy. Not too fond of engine's. Thanks for the video. 🐘😊
Saludos y bendiciones 🙏🙏🙏.
What a handsome elephant! 😍. Are these 'super tuskers' a different species of elephant? So beautiful! 💗
Tucker that’s a cute name. I don’t know him, but we have a Justin Tucker on the ravens this does play now.💜💜
So beautiful hi big guy 💃🥰😍🤩💯🐘
Perhaps i missed it, but did they mention the mighty Townsend's approximate age? Late 50's or early 60's? Townsend was my paternal great grandfather's name...not very common. Really enjoying this journey to Kenya. 🐘
My dear friend, I've made some research. Handsome Townsend is still quite young, as I suspected. According to Elephant Database, he was born in 1994, so he is currently 30 years old. Just older than Jabulani.😊 So he will still grow. Townsend is the nephew of iconic late (Big) Tim, who died of natural causes in 2020. 😓 As you can see, Susan, in Amboseli, almost all Super Tuskers are related to each other.🥰🌶🧦🙋🏻♀️
@@Dnvr8083 Fascinating! They clearly have a fantastic gene pool. Thanks Agnes for doing all that work and the info. Lazy me!!!🐘🥴🦋🤗
Ouch !! While they are beautiful, those tusks sure look they are painful 😮🐘🐘
I have a friend who is really super big named Craig and know a police man named Townsend. 😂
