Most people can get a 9-5 and have a consistent salary right away, but to make that same salary in content takes years most of the time. But once you’ve made it as content creator you’re mostly coasting and working on your own schedule.
I say the best thing to do is start a small job to afford your utilities, using recordings in your spare time, and, hopefully, if you succeed and get some decent income as a streamer, you could quit the job. Basically, you do your reg. Job and very little amounts of editing and stuff....other than that, I don't have any good advice.

Ive worked some jobs at some point in my life with my dad who does landscaling and stuff, and ive seen streamers just do their thing, streaming seems so easy compared to a regular job. Having to edit videos and streaming and gaming just seems wayyyyy easier and way better than having to cut grass, mow lawns, having to withstand the heat and rain, having nearly no breaks, AND having to sometimes injure yourself just to get the job done
As someone who's done both, the 9-5 is definitely more difficult. Even only working 35 hours a week is more difficult. The only difficulty of content is coming up with new ideas and keeping viewer attention

I can’t understand the level of work that goes into content creation, as i haven’t done it, but for some of my favorite content creators to post multiple 10+ minute videos a day, with over 100K (more than whatever the hell this what looks like a child’s name is), surely it’s time consuming to say the least. Posting 30 seven second videos to tik tok with 90% of the same fuckin clips is no way in hell harder than a 9-5. That G-fuel must be replacing his brain cells with straight powder.
I genuinely believe being a content creator, especially streamer, is similar to a 9-5 if not more difficult. Don't get me wrong, playing a video game is easy. As a content creator, you're barely doing that though, that's not what it's about. Editing, packaging, script writing etc is the stuff that is difficult and consumes time, not playing a video game. If you want to be a full time streamer in specific, you have to be in the top 0.5% on Twitch, averaging thousands of viewers at all times just to make MINIMUM wage. Usually you'll end up grinding for multiple years until it's barely sustainable. Even then it's a very unreliable career path that is so different from an office job that it's difficult to compare. Streaming in itself isn't difficult, building the audience that makes it a financially decent option is. Those who genuinely believe otherwise should try it, perhaps they got the forbidden knowledge that 99.5% of Twitch streamers are missing out on
