German Viking Folk Metal (that's what I tell people anyway ;) )
The founder called it "Medieval Folk Comedy" though better English translation and present band direction I think should be "German Medieval Metal Parody". They are generally just lumped in with "medieval rock".

Since you guys sing in German a lot of my friends think that you're actually really serious and I'm always like SURE.
They are serious about the lore they sing about. Norse paganism is still a thing in a lot of places. They're not like goat sacrifices kind of worshippers if that's what you mean but they still can believe in Norse Paganism without being extremists.

@@JR-sz7dw its definately folk metal, thats the general umbrella term for metal that incorporates traditional music and instruments from the bands country of origin. Although sometimes bands from other countries incorporate traditional music not native to their specific country per se. Theres alot of different types and its alot of fun.

Ich hoffe auf ein richtiges MPS 2022 mit euch. dieses Jahr das "Hockkonzert" hat zu wenige Auftritte um Fahrtzeit und Eintritt wert zu sein. Wenn zumindest ihr, SaMo, Versengold und Mr Hurley am selben Tag auftreten würdet könnte man sich das ja zumindest überlegen.

MPS ist immer cool, vor allem wenn Feuerschwanz dabei ist
