      You are correct. City of Galveston never spent any time or money on it's beaches or town. The city needs to comb the beaches and keep it clean. I'm going up there may 4th to shoot some drone footage. will post when I get back.

    Great job. I've never seen Galveston seawall from this perspective. You also did it in a non intrusive way.The sound also enhanced that soothing laid-back chill effect. I kind of wish you had pointed out to sea a little too. Those "ghost ships" offshore have an eerie hypnotic effect when I look out there from the sea wall or from a hotel there, but I'm probably the only one who ever notices so it's no big deal anyway. Thanx.

    • @ChrisTingom
      @ChrisTingom  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, the main reason I didn't go out to sea was I was afraid of all of the birds. I saw so many and figured I would hit one eventually (didn't hit any). Also, it was WINDY! But man does the drone ever handle the wind well.

      @delstanley1349 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChrisTingom > Okay. Sorry, I didn't actually mean to fly it out there I just meant pointing the camera in that direction from the shore like you did moving along the seawall. I wouldn't have gone too far either over open sea and wind. It wouldn't have occurred to me to even attempt it. Enjoyed the video.

    • @ChrisTingom
      @ChrisTingom  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@delstanley1349 Oh yeah, that makes sense. Next time I'm out there, I'm going to still try flying out to sea a bit. Supposedly the drone has a 3 mile range. In this video I think I got about a mile and a half.

    One of my favorite nearby places in mine regularly for drone footage content. Good stuff. Don't know why this took so long to come across my feed, but it did, so I subbed.

    I love Galveston no matter what people say. It's the nearest beach and it's not that bad. They say the water is dirty but that's because of dirt being pushed by the currents. There's beaches out there with literal trash everywhere so I'm not complaining. I think Galveston is beautiful

    Great video ! Chris . You were just down the street from our house ; and we loved seeing everything from such a different perspective . We want to get a drone to do some mapping of some farm land . Any recommendations on some entry level drones that might be less expensive than the nice one that you have ? I'm impressed with how stable and clear your video is . Terrific job , Chris ! Thank you so much for making this film 🙂

      Awesome! Yeah Galveston is great. I hadn't flown my drone there before this trip. I don't really know which drone to get but DJI and Parrot are the two brands that come to mind. Any of the models in the last 4-5 years will be as stable as mine was. I went with DJI because I thought the drone would hold more value so I can re sell it in a few years for a newer model.

    The small unmanned aircraft does not maintain sustained flight over any person unless that person is participating directly in the operation or located under a covered structure or inside a stationary vehicle that can provide reasonable protection from a falling small unmanned aircraft.

      The water current in the Gulf pushes the water from the Mississippi River into Galveston and therefore the water looks darker.
