😍Beautiful video😍 Next to ‘Huize Schreurs’ (1588) at the Grote Kerkstraat you’ll see on the right side still the original 15th century pavement, also worth to go to is the Keizerstraat and the Ursulastraatje (Floddergats) At the Maasboulevard you’ll see that a part of the wall from the theatre ‘de Maaspoort’ and Primark is a remain of the 1343 built city wall, as well at the end of the Keizerstraat, in the garden from the former Dominicans monastery. The ‘Lage Loswal’ is also very nice to go to as is the ‘Wilhelmina park (villa park) and on the other side of the river Maas, opposite the Maasboulevard, you’ll find the remains from the only fortress built by the Spaniards during the eighty years war (1568-1648) between Spain and the Netherlands 😊
Thank you for sharing all that historical detail! It’s fascinating to hear about the original 15th-century pavement and the remnants of the city wall. Your insights make the video even more enriching!
