The fact is Indians and the rest did not copied the whites after colonialism, that is why their dressing and culture is intact. But we Ghanaians copied the whites culture after colonization. That has been our problem till now.

I only agree with 25% of what the guest is saying. He is too aggressive for me. 😂😂😂😂 One of the things I totally disagree is when you ask your university graduate to leave home. When a kid is graduating from the university, it doesn't mean he/she is mature enough to be independent. That's rather when you get closer to him/her for reality talks and directions towards life.

@amoprince4353 Probably yes, because I don't see why my children should struggle while I have means to help them. As a parent, what else do I need money for besides my graduate children? Our children only have parents as close family, so if parents disown them or sack them from home, whom should they call "family?"

In Ghana, at eighteen years old, an individual is legally an adult but socially he or she is still a "baby." However, in the United States, an 18 year old is an adult both legally and socially. That is why "most" parents, in the U.S., tell their children to leave the house and go rent their own apartment (or room as we call it in Ghana). Just like in Ghana, "some" children in the US help their parents in paying rent and other household bills or mortgage. In Ghana due to the system/style of house ownership, if you are leaving in your parents' 'OWN' house, you do not pay rent. You may only be paying light and water bills to assist your parents.

    • @franciskwofie6754

In most only struggling parents kick their 18 year olds to go and live life as an adult.

I have seen very "well to do" parents in the United States tell their children to leave their house (that is, the parents' house) and go rent their own house. I have seen that among both whites and blacks. I do not know so much about Hispanics and Asian-Americans.

What about me whose son is in Law School and after, he will have to live at home to complete his pupil-age? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.Another one will go on a finance course and will have to Charter so it means he will also go on for a while before living home. Marriage has always been a business. Some partners are reliability; poor communication, poor financial management, lack of trust, respect and honesty. Maintain the marriage like servicing a vehicle. Are you taking your marriage to the dealership (counselor)for services or just anyone can be your marriage counselor. Marriage needs maintenance like a vehicle. No oil change, engine will go out.

@alexadugyamfi3609 I'm still trying to understand your point. 😊 The prevalence of drugs is a big problem everywhere, legal or not. These include legal, medical drugs like opiods these kids get hooked on. Just because a drug may not be legal doesn't mean it's not easy to get hold of it. These low-life pushers target kids. You will be amazed how many of your children and their peers may have tried it. Never make assumptions. Check the facts to make the right decisions.
Rather check the statistics on what effects it has, by country or region.
