OMG a total life saver!! Honest to God, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I watched a few other videos and wanted to fall asleep. I loved Lana's straight forward approach. I am going to watch more of her videos for sure! Yeah!!!

the steps start at 3:50 for those like me who need to do this just infrequently enough that we need to use this video for reference every time,

What would you do if you wanted to remove all duplicates and keep the records with the earliest date? Thanks!

My question is a bit different. I have a columnnar form which has 8 number fields. My condition is if Field 1 contains 1and if I put thr same number to any other fields, then the system should show a message that number 1 has already been used in one of the 8 fields in that page of the form. Same condition will apply to other pages too. I want to know is that possible in MS Access. Thnx and regards

Since new table was made and new name, how this will prevent to mess up all the reports, forms, other queries that are based on the original name of the table. Also how about the relationship on other tables. Unless I rename the original table, and rename the 2nd table with no duplicates with the original name of the original table. Of course before doing all this maneuvering I would make a backup of the database first.

Is there a reason why you would use this over the SELECT DISTINCT function in whatever query or form utilises this data set? From what I can tell it achieves the same outcome of presenting the data without duplicates, doesn’t modify the initial data set and takes a fraction of the time with far less steps

Can you continue to dump data into the lead list and expect the NO DUPS LIST to still work? How do you get the data to update??

Not well done. For educational purposes, it would be better to cover the topic in the title as if it's not already been done by the viewer. It presumes too much.
