As a long time tonejunkie fan, I’m excited to see you guys dig into the high gain sounds. If you decide to make more IRs, you should definitely do a mesa oversized 4x12 from the early 2000’s. Its the holy grail cab for most people into heavy music and the older UK made vintage 30s are so different than any other v30s. I have one and it’s an amazing cab. Would be awesome to have you guys make some IRs of it! Also have a Diezel Einstein I would love to have some profiles of!
Hey! The Guitar Friends are looking out for me…dropping a new episode late enough in the day that I didn’t have to watch in my office at work! Guess I’m safe from getting canned for at least a week.
Hey, I just moved here from Washington. I hope you guys don’t think I’m here. Just trying to mess stuff up. Washington just got way too expensive so I had to move to Tennessee.
I think the high gain amp capture opportunity is on the IRs, this is an opinion, but I think that if you do different amps with the same cab/mic combination it will sound too similar to make me want to buy different captures, the sm57 on a mesa cab with V30 speaker for metal has been overdone, sounds great, but what if we get different amps with different cab/speakers combination, try speakers that are not common in metal, I would love to hear a good capture of different eminence speakers, JBL speakers, I hear mojotone speakers are great, but I dont know of any good IRs with those speakers, most people are focused on celestion.
I was at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado a few summers ago to see Joe Bonamassa, the people directly behind us talked constantly bout lawn furniture, The Cheesecake Factory, Stacy from HR who wouldn’t approve vacation time etc …. They weren’t holding guitars but they never shut up! Not 100% sure but I’m beginning to think they were you three bumps on a log!
@@thesoozeTJI get that you might not want to play it at the beginning of each show, but please, please, please sneak it in sometime during show! Thanks!
I watched a doctor on yt talk about "American cheese singles". I learned that while they taste as if they are 100 percent plastic, they are probably less than 90 percent micro plastics. That's about as American as you can get!!!
East West? Are you freaking kidding me? I STILL listen to Closure to this day haha we covered that song back in the day😎
For a little over a hour I get to mow my grass and fall out of my deep chronic depression. Thank you guitar friends… thank you.
Honestly this is my new favorite driving podcast. Never stop
HA that's amazing- so glad you like it
Been waiting for you guys to do something like this!!! Thanks so much for the awesome captures!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Great show love it
Right on! Appreciate that.
Thank you for singing “In the year 2000”. It hit my brain as soon as he said it and then yall sang it 😆

Loved the episode!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching/commenting
I forget the song but the melody from Ordinary World works perfectly like it was written for the inst. break, only time I ever did that
waiting for a dual rectifier, or triple rectifier.
I rocked my baby blue Tech Vest so hard that year. 😎
When future generations look back and study the great philosophers of our age, this episode will be infamous 😂
HAHA amazing
I used a Peavey 5150 2X12 combo with my EBMM Axis to play in the church band every week. 🤣
I have a feeling you guys are going to vote for Robert Kennedy Junior, just a hunch
I like that you guys are gonna profile some of the lesser captured metal amps. We don’t need anymore 5150 iii or dual rectifier profiles
Pet peeve using tracks live what happened to the bands, actually singing and playing
Hoorahh!!!
That one riff has a very pantera feel to it!
Pantera rules!

48:52 all I hear here is that baby metal riff, plug in your 1 year old to a dual rectifier! 😂
Lol😂
Gosh ! Glad I went with wooden garden chairs. Wouldn't want micro plastics in me plums. That's how they get you.
Haha 👌
Came for the controversial content, stayed for the theme song.
HAHAHA!
I remember that Joe Rogan show.
D root !!!
Obvious wrong un.
Next show, trendy priests/pastors. Yea or nae.
Finally I have friends again
I’d consider needing to use charts during service a version of unpreparedness.
Yuk! I’ll see you next week 😄

That's a good idea - thanks for commenting!
Microplastic exposure is most likely through drinking water.
Jesus played a 5150, just so you know.
Wood or Plastic = Glass LOL

That song. That dancer. Are the most perfect thing that God has ever put on TH-cam.
Hahaha 😂

John 2. I have a horrible feeling that you will be getting phone calls, and leaving tone junkie...
Please don't go!!!
Microplastics - what about dishwasher pods?
Plastic in testiculars is crazy! 😅
First ❤
