Just watched this video, well not all of it as I need to get a clock spring, It was very thorough and informative and pretty darn complete! now I just need to figure out how to diagnose the clockspring if its the issue thank you very much
Extremely helpful, just replaced the one on my 2007, mine had a rubber and steel weight under the wheel, and the wiring was not routed the way it was on this one. I did not have to remove the turn signal module. It may be because mines a 6spd. Otherwise this was perfect. Thanks! Saved 800 from the dealer.
I have a 2010 ram 1500 2wd. I replaced the steering shaft ujoint and forgot to tie my steering wheel. My airbag light and eps and traction light are stuck on. I read this is a symptom of bad clockpring but all the buttons on my steering wheel still work. My horn and radio and crusie works. No blown fuses either. I also replace the wheel hub bearings. I also gave no codes. Is it possible those lights will shut off on their own?
This was very helpful as I need to check the horn connection on the back of the airbag.I have a 2013 ram 1500,and the horn started to not work properly. When I push on the horn symbols on the wheel it does not work, only if I press on the top right corner.I recently took it to the dealer cause the steering wheel control lights flickered.I think they may have moved the horn connection out a bit by mistake. But they did not check the horn problem.I am disappointed in their service.I know I can check it myself.Great video thank you, myself and my cousin have bought parts from you.

Will the clock spring cause a clicking in the steering wheel assy. when moving the steering wheel left and right. It only clicks once in either direction.
I'm recieving a code ( driver squib #1). My horn works. With my horn working, I was told that it's not my clock spring. Could you create a video on how to search for the open circuit? Thanks
+Webberdock thanks for checking us out! Although it is not necessary to change the clock-springs if they have not failed, it may be a convenient time to have it done as the bags are already deployed. Please let us know if you have any further questions, thank you!
+BetoAlanis We currently do not have an auto repair video specific to your vehicle. You might be able to apply some of the basic steps shown in this video to your application.
Uh the one im working on dont have any 10mm bolts so don't know how the one you work on is so easy have to make one with out a 10mm bolts seems like some special clip to be able to pull it been fighting wit& it for an hour an cant get no where with it
Hey guys my truck is missing that grey box right ontop of the key ignition, would someone help me out and tell me what that is? And do I need to buy that and reinstall it since maybe the previous owner took it off. The horn doesn't work, the tail lights don't turn on only when applying the brakes, and the windshield wipers don't work as well. If someone could help me figure it out I would highly appreciate it
+Liam Advena We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
You do not need to take the steering column or the steering lever adjuster apart. All you need to do is take the two screws 10 mm from behind the steering wheel and it comes off. You’re doing too many steps that are not necessary.

This helped me replace the clock spring on my Dodge. I also replaced the turn signal switch because the hazard light switch wasn't working properly.
