It's a levity kind of thing to avoid having the story ruined by some funny quips. Think of Yakuza for example compared to TLOU where any levity is non-existent

This game, Reverse Collapse, is a re-make of Bakery Girl. The first game published by Sunborn before they made Girls' Frontline, the gacha you are probably thinking of. They've made a second gacha in the same world called Project Neural Cloud and a sequel to Girls' Frontline which plays somewhat like Xcom. You don't need to know anything about the story to play any of these games.

I like to imagine that Reverse Collapse is actually a movie, and these are the cast members goofing off on set when the camera isn't on them.
