Shoving furniture around by yourself, been there - hate it, but I don't have a hubby to help me. For future reference, buy yourself a set of furniture sliders that can go under the legs of furniture or under the corners of furniture and makes it easy peasy to shove heavy furniture around over carpet or floors (without scratching the floors!) yourself. They aren't expensive, you can find them at a big box store or a well-stocked hardware store or order them online.
Tameka love what you did with the room. You should pick yourself up a set of furniture sliders, I got some years ago at Menards (in Wisconsin), you can probably find them online at Amazon or a big box store. There are 4 large size for larger furniture legs and 4 small size for chairs and such, they work like a dream moving furniture over carpeting. The next time you paint, you need to take down the curtain hardware and remove light switches and face plates. Drives me nuts trying to clean up messes in houses where the homeowner or previous tenants didn't do this and there is gooped on brushed paint that takes forever to sand down to smoothness to get a decent clean look on the wall once again when repainted.
