- The rest of the New Jeans coca cola song "Zero" was way too vibey for the chorus so I tried to boost the bass and add some chords to make more sense out of it. Hope you like it!

wow this is so much better! the original chorus felt so abrupt without matching the flow of the song, but your edit makes it blend much better. sounds more dreamy and matches the glitchiness even more

i feel like part of the reason is that many fans of newjeans werent previously kpop fans. preexisting kpop fans would be more familiar with the genre/mood changes in songs and how they go in literally every imaginable direction ever but someone whose only heard western music and newjeans previous songs would be less familiar with it. when people hear stuff that they arent familiar with they often just resort to judging it like they did with zero. i liked the song before the chorus and then when the chorus played i kid you not my grin grew like five times 💀💀💀

This one is for me an easier version to listen to and prettier(?), cuz the chords are still playing so it feels more coherent and less “different” than the verses and pre-chorus. Also with this there’s no genre switch what I prefer more 💙 Sounds more like a Hybe song, rather than SM 😂

A lot of Koreans hate the “Coca Cola Mashita” chorus because it’s originally a Korean inside joke, and people found it to be a bitoff settling to hear that in a Kpop song

I'm glad that people are loving this remix bc so am I, it's done very nicely. I would like to say to everyone who is saying they dont like the original chorus of Zero; This is NOT a comeback song. It is a commercial song, a song that needs to promote the product in an impactful and catchy way. The chorus "coming out of nowhere' is what makes it a commercial song. When you think of zero, you think of the 'off putting but addicting' chorus, that's the point.
I understand if it isnt to your liking but I would like to remind you guys that it is a Commercial. Yes NewJeans set somewhat of a bar for future CF songs(as it was unexpected to have a CF song of this quality) but that is all the song is, a commercial. For the people who are whining about it, please go do something better with your life or go read a book, please and thank you.

This is definitely an easier listen, but if I had to critique it, I would go with maybe a reverb fade out on that bass tone rather than a standard fade
