Weligama on foot. Walking around this beach town in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

I took a very long walk to make this video. I wanted to capture the common things you would see around the Weligama area from fish vendors, the beach, boats, temples, etc. I also visited the bus station, tried to find out how much I could win on the lottery, bought some watermelons and went to KFC (lol). It was a very interesting day to say the least, but a very typical one for someone who lives in the area.

Fruits and veggies in SL are like 3-5x more expensive now compared to a couple months ago but for a short-term period, those prices you see are much higher than normal in SL. There is a combination of factors like flooding in farming areas,higher taxes and also political factors cuz later this year there are elections. Those prices will go lower soon
