This one old man here in our town was there, never talked about it. When he died and they were dealing with his stuff, they found five bronze stars and the documentation that went with them.
I am of the opinion that this is one of Shinedown's better songs, and this video, I believe, that this video make the song better because you are fighting on the front line for something or someone that you love. So, to the person who created this video, I congratulate you for creating this video. You have done an amazing job.

If you liked the Pacific you should love this. I can't really say if it's better because they both cover very different conflicts yet have the same quality in writing. Where as the Pacific covers three people on different but intersecting stories, BOB follows one company so you are with the same people from beginning to end and it makes you alot more attached to them. I personally like BOB more but the Pacific is in my mind no way inferior.

I wanna tell them they're just either jealous or are too afraid to do it themselves. Sure.. Americans are NOT perfect. Our country is only a little over 200 years old (and became a world power in a hundred... took other nations centuries to do it.) I say our soldiers are some of the bravest and most honorable people in the world. Putting their lives on the line so that those who can't don't have to. Every time I see someone talk shit about our soldiers I think "...You're wrong.. everything you day is wrong." They're just spouting bullshit because it helps them sleep at night... I say fine... if it helps you sleep then say what you want. Doesn't mean you're right. Hell... when I can I wanna do the same thing our veterans did.. and join our soldiers in service on behalf of the Star Spangled Banner. I can't call myself a true American if I don't...
