What year is yours? I’m thinking of getting and 08 model because the 07 is the first year they made these and usually first year models have more issues.
Thanks for video. I have 2007 silver, have been driving it for 14yrs and no major issues. The paint still looks new after a wash. No plans to replace it anytime soon.
@@mmanek3465 i know this is 9 months or so old but what repairs have you made? Even small ones. Looking at a used 2007. Getting as much info from owners before I continue
@rnajestic hi, I have 240k km on it, apart from brakes, batteries , etc I have replaced coils and plugs head light bulbs and middle part of exhaust . I have only used regular gas. Still going strong. I would highly recommend this model.
I’ve noticed for 2010-2012 it’s very rare to find one with the “Ultra luxury package,” I’ve seen maybe 1-2 in the last 4 years since I bought my Lexus, it seems like they made a limited amount. I see a lot of 07-08 with the ultra luxury package.
Yay, at least your aunt parks that poor car in the garage! Try cleaning the seats really well, I’ve always used Murphy oil soap, and then condition with for Lexol gel. Put plastic wrap over the product and let sit for a while, it will really help hydrate the leather. Our 2008 ES has problems with the TPMS. Pressing light didn’t work, the batteries in the tire sensors needed replacing. Tire store did all, plus the spare for a few bucks.
i spent around 10k out the door for my 2010 ES350 with 88,000 miles at the time i bought it... premium package (no nav but does have intuitive park assist and power rear sunshade)... would like to get an NX200t in 3-4 years once the price goes down more... it prob handles better than the ES

@@jeremyking3986 I would stay away from the 07 model, that was the first redesign from the ES 330, I bought a 2010 with 114,000 paid $9,999. Best purchase of my life, I love and am obsessed with my ES 350, plus for 2010 it got some cosmetic refreshing, and it looks much better than the 07-09 ES 350. I would definitely buy a 2010 and up, but with gas prices the way they are now, the 2011-2012 uses regular gas ( they tweaked the engine and it just lost 4 hp, 272 down to 268), unlike mine that requires premium. I’m glad I got the 2010 because it was the last year they stopped using one of their amazing wood colors, I’m not a fan of the darker wood it’s not noticiable, and doesn’t really go well the tan interior (just my opinion), the wood color I have looks so sharp, and elegant with the tan leather. I love this car, drives like brand new and so smooth, she has 158,600 miles on her now and I love her more and more daily.
Check engine lights on. Is that pretty common? I have a 2007 350es(my check engine light goes on and off every week), but the mechanic said there’s nothing wrong. The 2007 is also known to have high torque, when you first start it. It skips for just a second or two sometimes, but I’m used to it. It runs beautiful 99.9% of the time. Headlights act up sometimes too. I paid $7,000 for it, about 6 months ago, with 104,000 miles on it. There’s about 108,000 now. I don’t drive it everyday. It looks brand new, came with two sets keys, nice pinstripes, dark burgundy, new tires, well taken care off. That transmission(2007), is definitely known to slip for a second, as I stated, only when you first start it, on your first incline, then it’s fine. I just drove it from Michigan to Missouri, no problem, just the check engine light comes on for a day or two, then disappears. I really like the car. It turns a lot of heads. My rich Aunt from Florida saw it in Michigan in June(2021) and thought it was brand new. My neighbor thought I was lying, when I told her I paid $7,000, she still don’t believe it. It’s super clean. We are about to take it to Florida(from Michigan )for 12 days, this December 22nd to January 4th. I’m going to get an oil change tomorrow, and praying she will get us there safely.
