Nice video. Can you describe the difference in thickness of the core versus the wrap for raffia? Also, do you have a video that continues on with creating a basket from this start.
Thank you Ronald. I have really put this starter circle up for the people who have been to one of my workshops and help them remember how to start. I am going to be launching a paid online workshop for textile coiled baskets in the next few weeks. So to answer your question I don’t have a video that continues from this one.

Just loved this video. Do you have some more detailed tutorial on making a basket. My maternal grandmother had those 35years ago. I miss those. I wishhave them in my kitchen for keeping breads. Thanks for making this video.
