This is the most helpful video ever! I didn't even consider putting a folder inside another... thank you! And saving elements? Game changing! Thank yooooooooou!
Thank-you as always Melissa! Saving elements to my client folders is a HUGE time saver for me! YEAH!! I do wish that I could combine folders for clients that have gone over 200 designs though. But, I appreciate your creating this VERY helpful tutorial!!!
I understand the basic filing concept but when I'm going to organize etc, in "All Your Designs" it is literally, all the designs. Would be great if there was an option to only see the 'unfiled' designs. Right now, I'm clicking on the drop down to see if it's been filed. Super cumbersome.
Hi there, Chloe! Feel free to create folders that would help you organize all of your designs. Just simply follow these steps to know more about how you could do it from your end! 1. From your Canva homepage, click the "All your folders" tab at the left side of your screen. 2. Now, you could create different folders to help categorize all of your designs. Hope this helps! 😊 ^gv
@@canva I'm overwhelmed with over 4 years of content never being organized in folders... So I'm struggling with moving things into folders. I agree with above it would be nice to have a feature within Canva where you can filter what's in a folder and what's not in a folder :)
Super agree with this. Yes, folders are great, yes we know how it works. But when you look at the All Your Designs tab, they are all unorganized and I don't understand why this tab can't be organized by folders as well. I want to be able to categorize them by date or something else so they dont look like a mess. Its very frustrating to see them all cluttered there. I hope Canva will fix this in the future.
Thank you for the tutorial. Is there any way to sort and filter the All Designs page? Is there any way to bulk move files? I created hundreds of images before I thought to create folders. It's a mess right now.
This is awesome! Quick question. I wanted to add some of my designs from the past to a folder, clicked select and move to folder but it is still on my design home page. I'd like to clean it up a bit. Is there a way to do that?

Is there any way to hide all the designs on the home page and just have folders showing. Or, once you have added a design to a folder, remove it from the home page?
Hello Canva Team! Love your products sooo much! Thank you for this software! Is it possible though that you can add the background removal feature to canva education as well?
Thank you, Melissa! I knew about folders and subfolders but didn't know about the element saving option directly from a design. I was just wondering: is it possible to save the same element in more than 1 folder? If not, can you suggest a workaround? Thank you
Thank you so much as my Canva is chaos. Are there people that can organise your Canva if your dyslexic like me and basically created chaos? Also does the pro option still work on a new Canva account or do I have to pay for pro twice? Thank you
I have lots of designs I created before I knew about the folders. I create and provide templates for my clients. I'm wondering if I clean up my account and move the designs into specific folder will the template link that I previously provided the client still work. You know like when you create a link for a WP site if you change the location of the file you need to update the link. How does this work with Canva?
Helpful tutorials. Question: if I move a design to a folder, can I then delete that design from the main Home “design-board” section? Or does doing that also delete it from the folder?
Just curious, if I have uploaded a graphics, used them in designs, then decide to delete them from the uploads...will they stay in my designs I have created? or do they need to stay in the uploads to remain in my designs?
I can't stand "all my design page" - it just scatters my brain. I really want them filed so I don't see it all but that does not seem to be an option correct?
Help! How can I simply create a design and have it save to a selected folder by default? Seems a bit extra work to always have to choose "Save to Folder."
Hey there! We don't have this feature yet, but we appreciate your honest feedback! Don't worry, we've gone ahead and jotted your suggestion down already. We've also passed it on to our team for future improvements of our platform. Thanks! 😊 ^gv
Thanks for the video. But.. How can we organize uploaded audio files? Did I somehow missed that in this video? I know how to organize everything else, but for audio files, all my uploads are in one single place which makes the list very disorganized :( I use about 5-10 audio tracks/clips per video, so you can imagine the mess after creating only a few videos..
once you schedule content in calendar. how do you remove it form "your designs" without loosing it in calender. I make copy so its there for all platforms but them i end up with 5 copies i cant get rid of and wont move to folder and no longer show in designs.
Hi Niki, currently designs that are scheduled in the planner need to exist in "Your design" for some technical reason. However, moving these designs to a folder should work. Let us know how it goes. ^ron
This is all fine and dandy but for the love of all that is holy, is there a way to move multiple designs to a single folder? I hate filing each design individually. I'm sure I'm not the only person who wants to know how to do it.
Hey there, Vineeta! Just to clarify, do you mean Canva Certified Creatives? If so, applications for this program are currently closed. But don't worry, we'll definitely spread the word as soon as it's open again. Thanks for your understanding! 😊 ^gv

If you star your folder, then it will show on the homepage under "Starred".

Thank you. Excellent tutorial !!! Can I save and put fonts in folder? Please let me know
Not at this time.
That's a great suggestion though.
What you can do is create designs where you use your favorite fonts and save those designs into folders.
