Dead Ahead Zombie Warfare: Beating the Horde

- Apparently you can beat the horde, as long as you get enough opportunities to use the machine gun and you have a decent number of ranged units. The horde spawns in 3 waves of either runners, witches,or armored skeletons, depending on the level. I was fortunate to have no armored skeletons on that level. On this particular level, if you do beat the horde, the truck will be unable to spawn units , but it will still use a machine gun. This creates a stalemate because my troops can't reach the truck while he can't attack my bus. This meant that I had to use throwables to destroy the truck. Is this supposed to be possible in-game? Or is the horde supposed to repeatedly spawn until the bus is overrun?

I guess the creators thought 3 waves was enough xD
But the horde gets stronger the more maps you beat so 3 waves are enough

I have a Spam team and i need time to have an unstopable team, so i beat the horde sometimes
In the new version they send out armor skeleton instead of runners along with witches, make it harder for the player
they only do that in later levels, so in the earlier stages there are no armoured skeletons
I sometimes manage to defeat the horde but usually end up only have 1 star and rarely 3 stars

Also if you listen closely there will be a voice taking deep breaths it's really hard to hear it though

Most of the time when I do that, a second/third wave comes and screws me over. But the action is worth watching.

the horde is only meant to come the one time with three waves in later levels you basically can only beat them after the horde comes and zombies stop spawning i think its so if you get stuck in a stalemate you're still allowed to clear the level

Keeping more than just 3 carlos and some good exposive barricades ensures your survival against the horde lul.
Fun fact: shotgunners acts both as a crowd control and tank destroyer.

I had both Farmer and Diaz as both my main shotgunners, and I used them all the way to stage 5
My guide on surviving a horde if it takes too long for you to beat :
Spam policemen and pepper it will help alot with preparation , you need 3 generators to spam melees for when it happens , upgrade melees to level 3 , and you could survive with a bit of health , I managed to survive without losing any truck health pog also don't forget , use machine gun when the 2nd wave of horde spawns , there should be only two
I remember more zombies. Like my whole screen was filled with zombies.
In some hordes has more zombies, in other the horde is more big hp zombies like armor squeleton but in less number of zombies, its rare

Just use the explosive barrels on bus near the gate where enemy spawns and mission would be over in no time and also you can send melee troops when bus is ahead in position the enemy won't use the machine gun 😎
The glitch was that the truck/bus would NEVER move forward into the ahead position, so the machine gun would ALWAYS be active. I'm trying to showcase how the game was sligjtly broken here because my melee units couldn't even touch the enemy truck/bus.

Well there infected such as lubber having a green hand but not fully infected were they lose there brains out to not use wepons

Beating the horde is easy, you just need plenty of tanks and ranged defenders
Tanks usually have long cooldown, so because of that you'll probably be overwhelmed on later levels because of all the bulletproof runners that spawn with the horde.
