The most beautiful hiking route in Mallorca, Tramuntana: Cuber - Barranc de Biniaraix- Formalutx, 4K

Walking mainly downhill from the Cuber reservoir to the L’Ofre pass for 360 degree views over to the Bay of Palma and Bay of Alcudia
This is a wonderful walk starting at the Cuber Reservoir before Descending steeply in a series of zig-zags down to Fornalutx. The underfoot conditions are excellent and the signage is good so you are sure to have a pleasant and rewarding walk. The trail consists of dirt tracks to cobbled paving. There are some sections on the road towards the end, but these are mostly quiet and the drivers are used to seeing walkers. There are some steep descents, and the cobbles will be slippery in certain weather conditions, so walking poles are recommended.

Am besten fährt man vor der Wanderung von Sóller mit der Straßenbahn nach Port de Sóller und von dort per Bus zum Cüber-Stausee (oder direkt von Sóller per Taxi)

Haltestelle der Buslinie 354 (Port de Sóller - Can Picafort) am Cúber-Stausee. Bushaltestelle in Port de Sóller am Carrer de l'Eglesia (Neben der Kirche). Achtung: Busverbindung nur von April bis Oktober!
