Glad to hear you are still ok. I still think of you - especially at mass where I met your lovely family.

We feel deeply for you and understand your pain . Your experience is a complete picture of the whole caravan industry …………..woeful . We picked up a new van from the factory in Melbourne and drove it back to Perth in April and we still haven’t had our first 1000km service completed with some major issues still to be sorted with the retailer here in the West . Best wishes for the rest of your travels .

It’s really not good enough @fleurneumann8430 we’ve heard so many stories where people have been let down. People need to start being honest about their experience so the companies that look after their customers are rewarded. I really hope you get your issues sorted out, it can be so stressful with such a large investment. Hope you can get on the road soon. Thanks for your support.

@@AussieFamilyLiving A couple of examples of our issues are ; within a couple of weeks of leaving the factory , the strips around the edges of the drawers and cupboards were peeling off , the inside kitchen window frame fell off ( all black top roads) , the screen door did not fit as you could see out all around the door , the wall shower holder came off at the top and we got no handover before leaving the factory !!!!!!!!!! Quality control is non existent in some of these factories and dealerships and needs to be addressed .

Just so exhausting hearing so many people have the same sorts of issues, there truly is no quality control with some companies when work is undertaken. Hope you experience a better outcome going forward.

Thanks for your support John, it’s definitely hard to accept, especially when you buy new to avoid problems. Time for an industry shakeup! Hope you get it all sorted and back to better days soon. All the best

Devastated to watch you had to go through this awful experience not to mention the time it took to get the van repaired.
Hope all is good moving forward 🙏🙏🙏
Sounds like you need a Wonderland guys 🤔 Best service around the few warranty items we have had they have sorted for us without any stress at all.
They have the best customer service around and we are super thankful everyday we decided to buy one of their vans,
We had a few items on our list when we stopped in East Arnhem Land for 6-7 weeks but no stress for them they had it to us in a few weeks.
Nothing Is impossible and we are super glad to be supporting their brand our here travelling Australia

Doesn’t matter what brand caravan you buy it seems getting warranty work done can be a big issue. We’ve luckily only had small issues with our van and they were fixed quickly. All the best for your future travels.

Oh dear! I really feel your pain, that was one hell of an experience to go through. I have never seen you two looking so upset explaining anything, So glad you finally got it all sorted, no one needs to be treated like this, if only they were honest with you it would have been so different. Glad to see them smiles back at the end of the clip, Happy Travels !

I worked in the RV industry for over ten years and I can tell you that they're all pretty much the same.
    They do not care.

Thanks for your feedback, we definitely felt that. It’s good to have real conversations about this and make the branches/ companies that don’t pull their weight, lift their game. We realise that this is optimistic! Is there any companies that you would recommend?

What a pain and inconvenience warranty causes when it is basically your family home.
I have had my motor home 12 months and touch wood, have never had anything go wrong with the exception of a double power point that I had to replace.
Built by an individual engineer on the Gold Coast, as it seems that the big builders just don't care anymore about quality and/or warranty.
If anyone wants the name of the builder happy to supply if the content owner is ok with that.
Unfortunately, with any repairs today you need to be onsite while the repairs are taking place which is not practical.

Thanks for your comment. Couldn’t agree with you more! That would be ideal if you could be present when work was undertaken. Very happy for you to share the name of your builder here for others to know about, we really do believe that people like that should be rewarded with lots of business and accolades . It’s so refreshing to hear stories like yours where nothing needs sorting except ongoing maintenance which people are willing to accept as part and parcel of ownership. Wishing you the best for your future travels.

8.5 weeks you could build a van, that's disgusting. Good luck, what were the faults.

Very upset and annoyed for you all. Wish you’d had a better experience and JB should be ashamed… customer service is paramount for patrons. Clearly you haven’t been looked after it’s appalling what’s happened and JB should be apologising .
    All the best guys. ❤❤❤❤
