Thanks a ton for your videos... we are planning our first ever copper harbor trip. A couple of us are experienced and a couple newer riders. Your videos are perfect for helping us plan.
@@Jacob99174 Not really, but we're more descent oriented. I want better grip for going down fast rather than less resistance for climbing. We ride for fun and couldn't care less about Strava times either.
I’m thinking more about the level of effort to push. Wouldn’t want to have to pedal on downhills to get through (I’m exaggerating) Thanks for the responses!
Hi Ed and Corey, I’ve been enjoying the content for months. Thanks for all your hard work producing these videos. I can tell you too are enjoying yourselves to the maximum. Getting to copper harbor is soooo on my radar. Great video, I think I’ll take your advice to ride flow first. I heard those trails can be pretty hairy. See you out on the trails one day,✌🏼bro, all the best to you and Corey
Yup, nice and flowy and full of jumps. Our next video is going to be on The Red Trail. Rocky and rooty all the way but with tons of straight fast sections. Love feeling the suspension do its work.
That’ll be a next year trip... got 1 more Boyne day to get this year. That’s the plan at least.... though 7 springs or Blue mountain might get snuck in this year still lol
The Duke of MTB absolutely. You could spend weeks out there. We should get together and ride sometime. I got a new specialized and have been out every day 😂
@@windowcleaninganthony2605 Sounds great. We're gonna be in Pennsylvania the rest of the week though. Feel free to send me a message anytime on the weekend.
I love that I know what you're talking about when you compared to DTE. since I've been riding those trails couple times a week since they opened, I love those trails! If I wasn't set on Bellingham WA I would look to Chelsea for our next home

The Duke of MTB the mounts still didn‘t arrive:( as soon as i get them imma make some Videos and upload them. The problem is im on vacation for the next 2 weeks so its gonna take some Time

Thank you so much for your videos. Planning (I hope) a trip there next summer. Starting a "Duke" approved list for our ride.
Glad we could help. 😊
I love and seeing the trails in Michigan and videos man! Keep it up!!!
Thanks! Will do! 😊
This looks like an amazingly beautiful place. Its 10 hours north from where we are too. Are you guys riding trail bikes or enduros?
It is. Beautiful place for a few day vacation.
All trail bikes.
The Duke of MTB
What bike your ride and what tires are you running up front and rear? You have a pretty capable machine for Michigan’s trails
I'm riding a 2017 Trek Remedy here. I like the Maxxis Minion DHF & Aggressor combo for all around riding.
Great grip combo. Do you find too much rolling resistance for our trails?

@@Jacob99174 haha. It's one of the most popular tire combos for a reason. 😊👍
Great video guys! I gotta get up there.
Thanks. You should. It's beautiful up there. Some of the best trails I've ever ridden.
The Duke of MTB I start at my new role in September, so I will at some point. Probably next year with insurance and the like.
@@MTBMichigan Congrats! 👍😁👍
The Duke of MTB thanks. Let’s ride!

I'm glad you like the content, dude. After "The Flow", the trails start getting really gnarly. Don't ride them solo, that's for sure.
10:22 I fell off of that bridge. That was fun. I screamed like a little girl
Ouch 😬
@@dukeofmtb made for a fun story tho, good times

Ok can’t wait to watch it
Next summer I'll get to ride those trails.
You'll love it. The trails there are world class.
Need to get up there one day too!

Theres a few times ive gone a little too hard my run out... Not the best idea.
How long did it take to drive up?
10 hour drive from Chesterfield. I can't wait to go again next year. It's amazing there.
Where is the link to the trail? Do you have map location?

Just love that camera angle ! I now odered a few mounts so i can try it on my Proframe
The chin mount is getting pretty popular. I'm seeing it everywhere nowadays.
How's that chin cam coming along? You gonna post some footage soon?
