Yeah, I really love the ark music playing in the background. It compliments it so much. I'd be good with it being the background for every video. Lol..
The carnos are invisible because in the novels, they used all sorts of lizard DNA to fill the gaps, they used chameleon DNA to fill the gaps with the Carno, that is why they can turn invisible
They used chameleon DNA on purpose to make them better for the park in the novel all the dinos on isla sorna were getting transported to isla nublar Jurassic park for the park so they added carno dna but they couldn’t transport all the dinosaurs after the park went down isla nublar was bombed
@@jerometerbrack9999 work on the basis that pretty much every modern day depiction of raptors is based off Deinonychus, so if you know what the skull of a Deinonychus looks like you're set.
It’s in the second novel The Lost World. It’s been awhile since I’ve read it, but there really wasn’t a reason why they were invisible, they basically camouflaged themselves in the book, they weren’t a real threat that I can remember, the rexes were the actual stars of the book. But really good books highly recommend
Actually they we're pretty epic in the novel. It was the DNA that allowed it to color morph like a chameleon. They didn't have a big part but it was a very scary part near the end. I honestly don't remember if it was The Lost World or Jurassic Park but it was definitely in the novel and it was a short but extremely suspenseful scene.
Dominic Lucero it was definitely in The Lost World that much I remember. the carnos were near the trailers in which Ian and the others were staying in. But yeah, I haven’t read it in like 4 1/2 years, I really need to reread the series.
@@amberwallace2000 Yeah I have both of them in paper back but it's been years. I skimmed through though and saw the part in The Lost World. Definitely worth a reread soon.
@@youngertargaryen608 definitely. I kinda want to reread them before the new JW comes out next year, but I don't know if I can find the time unfortunately. The books take a great deal of concentration especially when Ian starts talking about chaos theory. But I love both books, have them both in a two in one book, and absolutely love all the movies
In the novels the Carnos were made with I think chameleon DNA or something to that extent. That allowed them to be invisible. There’s an arcade game that has a Carno as a boss and it turns invisible. It’s a really cool thing that didn’t make it into the Fallen Kingdom film.
syntac: you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a raptor skull and a rex skull me: looks at the giant skull and the tiny skull, huh I can't tell which is which
For me atleast. The Allosaurus is the most recognizable. Here in Cleveland, we have the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. And while me and my fiancée were walking through, I stopped because the silhouette caught my eye. And it was an Allosaurus.
Always have loved the design of JW's Baryonyx, prefer the wider head compared to Ark's version. My opinion lmao, just reminds me of a Crocodile with very long back legs!
Allosaurus, spino, baryonyx, quetzal, mosasaur, trike, pachy, mammoth (of course) I'm studying dinos so there are a lot of skulls I recognize but here are some easily recognizable ones I love the music btw!! I've never heard all your background music and I love it soso much

The easiest ones for me are Parasaurolophus, Triceratops, T-rex, Velociraptor, Carnotaurus, Corythosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Allosaurus, Mosasaurus, Pteranodon, Pachycephalosaurus, and Stygimoloch.
A really obvious skull would be either a Ceratasaurus as they have a noticeable horn and also a carnotorous as they have 2 horns either side of the temple. However the most obvious skull of the dinosaur world is 100% a Lambeosaurus. Love the vids
Lol, you can tell he's sick and tired of people trying to claim that he's force taming shit when he's not. It's like some people got the brain of a Parasaur I swear... Lol...
The Baryonyx from Jurassic World is less accurate because in the movie, it was portrayed bigger then what it's real size was, and the jaw are too thick and it doesn't have the hook at the end of the jaw at the top. The top of the baryonyx looks a lot like the back of a crocodile. So the ark version is more accurate in not only size, but the shape of the jaw and back as well.
Ceratopsian skulls and Hadrosauridae skulls are very recognizable, Pachycephalosauria skulls are also pretty distinct, specifically Dracorex and Stygimoloch
The Carno that is able to go invisible was in the second book, The Lost World. It has the ability because of Cuddle Fish DNA use to piece together the DNA of the dinos. But somehow in the creation the Carnos were they only ones able to harness it- at least that the book addresses. The Andominius Rex is really a kind of easter egg to the books in the respect- although she was much more op than the Carnos in the book. They had a much briefer encounter in the book with them, it was pretty funny actually. ^_^
It's easy to tell skulls apart if you know what the general skull of a group is. Tyrannosaurs have pronounced noses that are slightly less elevated than their eyes. Creatures like Allosaurus and Giganotosaurus have more rounded skulls whith more blade like teeth instead of the lethal bananas on a tyrannosaur. Spinosaurs aren't hard at all, look for the elongated snoot with the very straight, dagger-like teeth and the nostrils halfway up their head. Ceratopsians have a curved parrot beak with some sort of frill, Stegosaurs look similar with a slight beak, but lack the frill. Hadrosaurs will have some sort of crest, and if they don't then they'll at least have a duck-like beak. Pachycephalosaurs have the dome head and the various spiky ornaments on their skull. Raptors look sort of like a bird beak mixed with a snout, and their skull is usually fairly straight. Ankylosaurs bear most resemblance to Stegosaurs, except with spikes and horns at the back of their skull and less of a beak. Personally the Spinosaur skull is most recognisable, but that's just out of habit. In regards to the JW Baryonyx, I can't say I'm particularly fond of it, and the original Ark version is actually more realistic, it just needs to be a bit bigger and probably get rid of the jump and it should be good. Baryonyx didn't have those scutes on its back, that was from crocodile DNA they put in the Baryonyx genome in the movie. Last thing, listening to all the Ark music was actually quite nice. If you ever have more sound issues: 5 stars, would buy again.
Have you tried turning the Dino leash off and then on again? When I play(with S+) all of my Dino’s have to be present before the leash is turned on or they won’t get tethered. I’m sure you’ve already tried it but I thought I’d suggest it anyway.

The Carno’s are invisible because of the Lost World book! They camouflage themselves and wait for prey to walk by! They never specify what DNA caused this in the books, but say the pattern’s complexity makes marine invertebrates like cuttlefish a likely source. Also, they escape them in the book by repeatedly turning lights on and off to “overload” their camouflaging capabilities.
You need to get a plant species z for your base. Also, I recognize like spinosaurus and stegosaurus the most, but I can recognize a dimorph and a triceratops pretty easily too.
