Haven’t played it yet; but I’m about to now that it’s included with PS Plus. I’m not a Laandaaner, but I’ve survived visiting several times. The first time I visited, in the 80’s, despite not having to worry about smog anymore, found loads of black snot in my nose when I arrived back home in The Midlands. I’m looking forward to seeing how my knowledge of geography over the years since matches up with this game’s version of London. It’ll be a new fun trip around the capital 😅

It’s possibly the worst game I’ve ever played . Every mission there’s some annoying “hacking” puzzle you’ve got to complete most brain numbing stuff ever
Personally, I know all the watch dogs game have their own downsides, but I didn’t mind. I enjoyed them all. My personal favorite is Watch Dogs 2. I like how you have the option to play stealthily and without killing throughout the game, or rampage and kill everyone. But you can also play stealthily and still kill everyone. I love the upgrades like the drones, RC’s, and the option to change car paints, etc.
Or calling gangster and cops on people which was always funny to do. Seeing the swat team run after a runner to tackle them into the ground never got old for me. I used to always call cops on old ladies and watch the cops go to town lol
To be honest, i actually always wanted to play this game. As a cyberpunk and tech enthusiast, seeing such a setting makes me happy. I know a lot of people will hate the fact that you don't have a main character, but that's the point of the game. You need to rally people up to fight back, so that means getting as much support as possible. All in all, Legion is a game that just needs a few fixes, but is great already.
They really should of built off the 2nd one, a really solid/fun game with a great open world. Hope if/when the 4th installment happens, its more along the lines of the 2nd one.
@@espo_playz6784i agree, story goes to 1 but i enjoy having allys like marcus does an the parkour and environment of 2 but taking territory’s over in 3 was nice ngl
The assassins creed dlc was done perfectly. Feels like what a modern AC setting should be. Complete with a backstory, it feels like watchdogs legion is actually an AC game.
@@Izaatz Indeed. Even better that they added a whole background story for the main character. And that part where you entered the vault. The way they tied AC Syndicate to it... reslly great stuff!
You're spot on with your review. Like you, I was so excited to have an open world game set in London. Unfortunately the gameplay does get repetitive after a while and, unlike WD2, the plot and characters lack charm to make up for that. However, I'm so glad that they tried something different with this game and I'm gutted that it looks like there will be no new Watch Dogs games either.
Ubisoft did london three times now, which is crazy bc i think theres only a handful of other games where its the main setting, and even fewer open worlds.
This game was actually very enjoyable and deeply overshadowed because of the overall Ubisoft Hate Wave. I hope it eventually will get the recognition it deserves
yeah this game is underrated. Im surprised not many people tried this game yet. While it may still feel incomplete, its very enjoyable. Had tons of fun in London. Not to mention the graphics are beautiful. Also the fact you can technically have infinite side missions because you can just recruit someone, do their side mission, then retire them. Rinse and repeat. I never get bored.
@@-pressxtostart- You're exactly the person this comment was talking about. This is truly ironic. Anyways, im not gonna defend ubisoft, but don't tell us to wake up because we like one of their products. The game is free on playstation plus extra right now if you have it, so there's always no harm trying it out.
This game was great for the simple fact that you could play a wide variety of characters even though most of them had the same voices and abilities it was still good and the fact they got London landscape as it is in real life made this game a great buy♥️👍
Watch dogs 2 is one of my all time favorite games so when I was getting ready to play this on release at 3am before school started I was really excited, but that excitement turned really quickly. It felt so clunky and there some game breaking bugs that I experienced on release. And having bought the gold edition only for the things promised to be released in waves within a year, it took me out. I played the story and didn’t have a lot of fun, some points were good but overall it was pretty mediocre. While I haven’t gone back to play the dlc even though I have it I have heard good things about it and may give it a shot. Great video man but this game wasn’t for me
I loved watch dogs 2 n i platinumed it on ps4 , im 5 hours into legion n its total shite n i hate when my characters dies n i have to wait 50 min for them to respawn like wtf give me a main character with different gadget to unlock instead of many NPC with limited gadgets pure nonesense
Ubisoft should be nicknamed the pest crew. Because everything has bugs. AC, Far Cry, and watchdogs. It seems they do just enough to make it playable and sometimes interesting but just not enough to make it memorable.
an underrated feature in watch dogs legion: every npc or recruits have their own lives, like they have schedules to go to places and they would actually be there, they sleep, they go to bars, etc.
worth it just to get the john wick lookalike since the takedown animations are pretty cool and actually feels like a john wick game when you rush every enemy doing gunfu lol
Out of all the Watchdogs game I have played, the original is my favorite. The story was just heartfelt and immersive. You can really feel Aiden's emotions throughout the story.
Idk about Legion. WD2 is a nice game but WD1 remains the most representative for me despite the backlash it got. The series needs a refreshment, why not make a spin-off set in another time period?
@@marcuspoblets ubisoft were like "we didn't reach nearly the hoped success so we're not gonna waste resources on this game, yeah maybe it's good and people like it but we don't care anyways"
Agree. The city feels alive. I love the visuals especially at night. Just cruising around and enjoying the scenery is often enough for me and i never played a watchdogs game so the mechanics are fresh.
This game is solid. I came with no expectations, but it ended up surprsing me. Ig when u play with a lot of expectations, you're usually just let down.
Which a lot of people do nowadays . No one plays video games for fun anymore . Everyone go into games looking to complain and bitch that’s the problem ! I been gaming since 1997 I enjoy 98% of the games that I play .
This game is actually underrated. IMO. Sad that this game separated progression and mode between Story and online. Im just started a week ago with my friend, this game is kinda unfinished at some point. The parkour mechanism isn't any good, rather than WD2, that make me feel unsatisfied. The most operator that i love too play but also hard to find is the one that has Rifle/SMG, Combat roll (evasive dodge), and also Berserk (Heal after kill any enemies even drone). This game half cooked but with good premis. I love but i hate it at same time, some mission mostly is against annoying drone in online. In story the most thing after mission is same cutscene with different char. I thought we will have cool transition like GTA V when change char, but nothing. This game already dead cheap and not developed anymore. No wonder why...
Sooo much potential, I love the NPCs. But I just wish the operatives that are family treated each other as such. I had the sister of an operative die and I switched to the brother to see a reaction, nope just another day. So much potential
Yeah, this is why I can’t play this game.. the whole point is to have a detailed open world with complex NPC behavior. Watch Dogs 1 is far superior in this aspect! It has some of the best acted and written pedestrians in any video game. Makes everything believable and real! Aiden 🐐
@@jax_wildguessthat’s because the playtesters called it too complex So the devs simplified Characters were supposed to have actual stats and percentage based increases not just perks
Legion is my favourite WD game just for how well it depicted my home city. I guess that makes me positively biased towards it, but it's really a cool piece of virtual tourism that happens to come with a B-tier crime-thriller/hacker-fantasy attached.
Hi! In WD2, the Bay Area is very familiar to me, I'm born/raised just a few hours away. I'm a retired Sam Quentin prison guard, and I say that because I've also been to Alcatraz on a couple of occasions, just to compare there with where I worked, lol. And I was surprised that Alcatraz was portrayed, especially inside the block, to what it really is. There's a part in Alcatraz where the yard is on the back side of the blocks, overlooking the water. Just like in reality! Also in WD2, near the bottom of the map where they have the 'Galilea', or something like that, I almost got choked up when I saw that because back the '80s I was an aircraft electrician there while in the Navy. That aircraft hanger in reality, looked just like that! So you can imagine, when I saw that! And, there's some missions in that area, so where I was killing bad guys in a video game right at the base of my old aircraft hanger that I used to work in! A note... That Air Base is called Moffett Field, and is about 20 mi south of San Francisco. Back to the game here, It's nice to hear from someone who lives in or near London! As far as buying the game, I'm still on the fence even though it's on sale for 10 measly dollars, lol. Thanks for making your comment!
@@SQTierHog that's cool you got to see an old workplace depicted in-game. I'd definitely recommend playing Legion just for the setting, although I imagine WD2 is probably closer to your heart. Legion gets a lot of flak for the voice acting and some simplified gameplay / AI systems and weak story. But virtual London is just *chef's kiss*.
@@tomoakley760 Legion, just picked it up for 25 dollars, for the ultimate. The opening scenes with Dalton were worth what I paid! I wanted him to stay! So, I did the character selection, made it to the first safe house, met my first members, boxed with that gal, worth the money!
I actually played watch dogs before I ever got to play gta 5 so it’s like one of the first open world games that birthed my love for these type of games I personally love the watch dogs series especially 1 and 2 and I hope they make more but who knows
WD 1 is one of my favourite games, I love the atmospere the gameplay and even though the story is a bit cliché too I still like it. WD 2 I didn't like as much because it felt like it was trying to be "funny" all the time. But WD 3 I didnt even finished, and I dont see myself ever going back to it, the dialogs, voices, animations it all felt off at some point. I dont think I even got half way throught..
2:30 hold up now, play it on Resistance mode and then redo that part because you lose the character if they die. So gotta be smart with who you use for each mission.
I love Watch Dogs Legion as it is the first game I have played from this franchise. It is so much fun to build your own team and the hacking is fun. I love the world as much as exploring it and I don't mind the story to love it. It is definitely number 1 in my rankings of it. It is a favorite to me as I love everything about from the world to story to gameplay.
IMO, the main things I enjoyed about this game was the combat, stealth, and character customization and drinking at the Pub. The hacking was downgraded, world immersion was downgraded, getting rid of the music player was very sad, driving was downgraded (although I didn’t mind the auto drive mechanic when it worked.) I had way more fun exploring in the first 2 games. After completing this game with DLCs included, I just stopped and deleted it. Replayed the first 2 and had way more fun being immersed in those worlds. I wish Ubisoft would just take the very best elements of all 3 games, add a few more new mechanics and call it done. Legion unfortunately left me disappointed, I played it once and never touched it again.
I started the game when it came out on PS4 and honestly wasnt a fan at first, but something changed and it really grew on me! I completed the main story on ps4 easy mode then transferred my save to my ps5. I then replayed the story in normal and hard mode, now I'm playing on resistance mode which is way more challenging but very fun! The story is the only part of the game that is worth paying IMO, unfortunately there are little to no side quests available unless you want to recruit people for no reason other than to have something to do. I highly recommend doing playthroughs of different difficulties with different characters and definitely use permadeath! It gives you a real feeling of risk and forces you to plan each and every move you make.
This game is worth it just for the amazing simulation of London, it’s so spot on. If they had a G.T.A feel to the interaction it would be a 10 for the effort of the environment as well.
Thanks for posting this video. I remember staying away from this game when it was launched due to bad reviews and trash talking. After watching your video I gave it a shot couple of hours ago and I LOVE IT.
I'm a complete beginner who started with gaming around 1 or 2 months ago, and because i love brittish accent and it only cost me 10 euros i bought it. Thx for your video, u've got 1 subscriber more. (Greetings from Germany)
I've played both Watch Dogs 1&2 so was thoroughly looking forward to 3. But the lack of a sole protagonist was a big red flag for me. It does feel like it takes away the immersiveness of any video game.
I feel like their is a lot to improve on 1) You create a character, that is who you play as and you are searching the streets to find recruits to exploit for resources instead of the "You can be anyone" cliche 2) Hacking is too complex for a game, with so many drones to control, cars to drives, civilians to scan, bombs to arm, enemies to disable it tends to take away from the combat 3) London is an area with complicated roads, it seems so small but on a realistic note it is nearly 8 times larger in scale with what can be done than GTA Online 4) It has a Cyberpunk vibe without being Cyberpunk, it is like drinking a fluid that looks like water, tastes like water, feels like water, smells like water without being called water 5) Controlling occupied cars make little to no since, In a Masamune Shirow's Ghost in the Shell, agreed with cars being hackable while occupied could be used to become remote death machines 6) Unique stores should be unique clothes, each having 1 style they specialize in so you know where to go for your style, it gets very distracting to have to search 10 stores that has the same shirt just because you can't remember which has what 7) Story mode for Online Mode is something that should be created, It isn't hard as online games tend to be more forgiving with bad story telling. Some bad story telling is plot holes, repeated objective or just delaying until the point is controlled 8) Naruto the Broken Bond is a good way a game catches an Original Manga, This game could have been Ghost in the Shell or Cyberpunk 2077 online if they had the property and balanced resources, but it feels like earlier they gave up too quick. It was released in 2020 and by 2022 they stopped updating it. Looking at GTA Online, the game came out in 2013 and stopping by 2025 (When GTA 6 releases but most likely 2027 when no one plays it on PS4) 9) Interface is very confusing, It is fine once you get the hang of everything but the combat still feels lackluster which the aspect to really enjoy is something of a stealth strike, so many rather play guns blazing and less puzzles. The Idea is if the 2 play styles can flow naturally than they are against themselves. Say it like this, Stealth takes time which annoys Attackers for taking to long, Attackers are annoying Stealth because they go in ill prepared and get overwhelmed. If you balance the interface with quick controls it feels easy to play both, Stealth has led me to drive targets out of the area, Run over enemies, if running over enemies was as quick as a fast tap of L1 it would help out stealth players
The only point that started getting ridiculous for me was at whatever point of the story I was at, all the good operators I was getting suggested in the game were back to back females so I just resorted to just grabbing the npcs bc at least there’s more choice there but sucked bc the ones that were suggested usually had better abilities.
@@Chloe_prices_spliff its unrealistic. We all know women can be spies, but stronger than the big guys? Just breaks the immersion, its like a fairy tale 🙂
1. Are there non-urban areas in this game? 2. There are some houses in the game (safehouse) and some interiors that you can enter during free gameplay (except for missions) 3. If you can enter a store and buy something, is everything done in front of the store? 4. How extensive is the changing of the Hero's appearance, can you only change the appearance or a little more? 5. Are there old cars from the 90s and 80s in the game? 6. How much does the game decide about the characters? Can I change my personal vehicle, for example? 7. Is it possible to complete the game with one character? Yes, I know it's a strange question, but it makes me want to find out how much the game relies on the title Legion 8. Is it better to buy this game or Watch Dogs 2?
This is one of the hardest games I’ve played in a while I beat it last year (even did the extra bagley mission where you get to meet him in person along with the assassin creed Templar mission) omg this game frustrated the fuq outta me 😂 I was so relieved when I finally beat it not sure if I’d ever try again if any I’d most probably play for the site seeing and changing characters.
I don’t understand the hate this game gets. I actually enjoyed this game a lot. I loved the recruiting system and I also loved it as it’s set in our country. Yes it’s slightly more on the futuristic side, but it’s unique.
Assassin's Creed is the money making Franchise so they kinda forgot about Watch Dogs tbh. Watch Dogs 2 came out 2 years after the Orignal Watch Dogs and Legion came out 4 years after the WD2 Next Game gonna come out in 2028 if they follow this pattern.
Watch dogs 2 is my all time favourite. I still need to play Watch dogs legion its not too bad. I just wish it had one main character like Aiden or Marcus instead of choosing random characters to spawn in with.
Legion should definitely be played on permadeath. This also resolve the issue with playing only as a spy or a hitman. Since the game will be harder, you will be more afraid of loosing them so would not choose them so often
Thanks for this vid - I’ve had this game on my wishlist for like 12 months, but having never played any watch dogs, wasn’t sure whether to jump in. Exploring London appeals most to me about it. Cheers for the info, it’s always better to have lower expectations & then be pleasantly surprised
i’m hearing there’s a game breaking bug that stops your game from saving for like no reason and can’t basically delete your save and saw that it was never fixed even in 2023, kinda hesitant on buying it because of this reason on series x.
Thank you for this genuine review! I played it yday free for PS Extra Users... And I am liking it so far its quite good but I totally agree with your review, I don't know why Ubisoft always seem to "Half Ass" with games like this, just look at Far Cry lol
I still don't understand how Ubisoft didn't manage to make co-op campaign for 4 players while the story doesn't actually have a main characters at all. Missed opportunity
Bought this game and the ultimate edition using a Gamepass deal for 23$ best money I've spent for a bundle, came with Watch Dogs 1 complete edition, it's very cool
i liked watch dogs played every one but 2 was to "happy" for me 3 was... idk story was i think ok , could be better ? but game lack of main character and was little boring. I dont remember how much time i spend on online hacking invasions in wd2 xD but i liked it and back to legion... London ... map was just copy of Assasin Syndicate converted to modern time .. with boring activities im 100% sure if they just did really good charismatic female or male main character game would be so much better , i played mostly Darcy or aiden and yes u are right DLC with aiden and wrench was really good i enjoyed more than basic game XD if they made Bloodline as basic game with i dont know Aiden and Wrench as main character or 3 main characters like gta 5 this game could be better instead doing dlc ,Bloodline could be start of whole story in base game but im done with ubisoft after AC games im not wasting any money if they dont know how to make good game anymore I edited like 3 times to add something XD 1 more thing .. one thing i enjoyed gameplay in wd3 hacking everything and flying on platform and other things and next i discovered Cyberpunk and forget about watch dogs and ac games
Watch Dogs 1: Best story, more mature. It has a Batman feeling. I also prefer his profiling system than other WD ones. Also better rain system. Graphic were good, but far from E3 gameplay. Car handling is a troll Watch Dogs 2: Graphic and world improvement from WD1 (cinematics are not very different from actual gameplay), better fighting, parkour, hacking system (except nethack) and car handling. But too woke sometimes, and the story is less catching. And Marcus Holloway would be perfect if he had been a little more serious, like Aiden. Watch Dogs Legion: Best fighting style, better overall graphics. But story is actually anecdotic, and "play with every npc" is more a proof-of-concept than a real useful system for the game.
Honestly I did do the “keep using the same character “ thing for a few missions but then I said screw it! Ima make the game interesting by using whoever is closer to the missions and I ended up having fun because it actually was alittle bit more challenging .
If anyone reading this within a week of it being posted has been wanting to get this specific game, or you're looking for a new game in general, I'd get it now. Watch Dogs Legion is on sale right now on Xbox for $9. And if you want one or both of the previous games, the WD1+WD2 bundle is on sale for $12. Less than $25 for the whole franchise.
I tried playing a few days I ago but couldn’t get passed the lagging and the sound cutting in and out. I played bloodline which was a little better ( sound wasn’t cutting out every few seconds) and I managed to get to the last mission but couldn’t beat it because it’s so difficult even on normal difficulty. That’s the same mission I couldn’t get passed last time I played it
I was thinking legion gonna suck but for me is actually better than WD2, one of the things I miss from the others games was the insane car chases and the pvp in open world, the AC female agent dies so fast so wrench and Aiden have to finish the job, the lore is better than I expected because one of quest was like a BLACK MIRROR episode and the sad thing is eventually society will be under control like that game and maybe the ethic hackers will be our last hope.
I contemplated buying this game, although I already have Cyberpunk and although Cyberpunk doesn't really have the environmental hacking, the Mixed Reviews with shy under 50% made me skeptical, despite an 85% discount being offered right now! Although I like the franchise it always felt short of GTA in open-world and immersion aspects where as GTA feels more gritty and real with all the ugly aspects of reality, Watch Dogs in that regard always felt like a GTA lite, more tooled to a younger teenage audience, not necessarily an adult audience. That didn't entice me that much, but the Open World Hacking felt great. I was already disappointed by Watch Dogs 2 in the aspect, that they took the "Karma" out, where you could rampage and kill anyone without any repercussions, which always felt utterly strange, like you could behave like the most deranged terrorist and blow up everything and everyone and the game world and the story would still treat you like a hero. And reading it only got worse and that the story is shit according to some feels even more bad. A shame, I like the premise of the Watch Dogs Franchise, but it would require imho a gritty, more adult-targeted sequel, more like the Original Watch Dogs, even though that also felt a bit tooled down compared to GTA titles, it still was the most gritty title of the whole Watch Dogs Series.
I wanted to love this game… but it refused to save any progress. Started from the beginning on 3 different occasions because of it. Did anyone else have this issue on the Series X?
I personally think watch dogs 2 was a way way better game than legion and the original one as it has the best map the best dedsec crew the best character and the best story and the best missions
I played Watch Dogs Legion for about 20 hours and there was no game crash. Now, however, whenever editing a character in the locker room, or very often during an event, the game crashes. No message is displayed, the game just shuts down to the Steam base screen. Does anyone know what to do about this? I'm enjoying the game and would like to finish it:-(
Honestly watch dogs 1 with Aiden Pearce was the best game for me - an engaging and clear storyline and more importantly, a main character with strong personality that fits his role and actions in the game. The whole game world had a dark-ish almost dystopian vibe that complemented Aiden's role as the protagonist perfectly; and the man himself was so well-written. His backstory is well presented, the voice acting absolutely legendary, his withdrawn slow-to-trust nature and when working with others, even his gait while walking, he's simples the best watch dogs protagonist they've created. My only flaw would be the driving mechanics which were horrible. Watch dogs 2 was an absolute joke by comparison and broke its own narrative so many times by making you play as this 'newbie' character without much backstory and suddenly having him do all these insane missions; the story was weak too and the violent ends used by the group you work for didn't seem to represent what they stand for; at least with Aiden there's no pretense that you're a 'good kid trying to fix the world'. Watch Dogs 2 also had a very bright and cheery vibe that just didn't fit the story being told, the color grading was completely opposite to 1 which had more muted tones. WD1 was simply a work of art that it sadly looks like we've seen the last of.
I feel as if the gameplay is flawed pretty badly compared to the previous games. The game simply isn't made for HARD difficulty and permadeath mode is stuck on hard. There are various story missions where cops spawn on top of you (the third mission in the game), if you don't have a character who's armed its near impossible to progress in the beginning in permadeath mode (when you are still learning the mechanics). The gameplay additions and changes just don't really feel finished, look at the hand to hand combat...
Just bought it for a tenner today. First one was OK but where did Aiden learn to fire rpgs? Second one was better but frankly can't remember the story of the second and legion, I'm just going to play it till I'm board, Google says the completion time is 18 to 48 hours in length.
I enjoyed the single player mode (minus the dumb story), but the online mode is virtually unplayable. Rampant glitches render co-op missions nearly impossible, and the solo assignments often can't be completed either, as the objectives themselves just won't spawn. Lately, whenever I'm in a co-op mission, I am relentlessly hunted by an infinite army of heavily armored Clan Kelley captains that are already shooting me the instant the mission starts. And sometimes in free roam, even just entering a restricted area instantly spawns and alerts a small army, even if I hadn't been seen. The second game was far superior.
The concept was great on paper, but wound up being way too ambitious for what resources and time they had. The voice acting is one of the most noticeable drawbacks for sure. There were only a handful of voices per gender, so it was inevitable that you'd have several operatives with the same voice. At one point in my playthrough, there was a discussion with Bagley and 3 other operatives and the game randomly selected 3 with the same voice, which made that conversation beyond silly to listen to. Ideally there should have been around 30 or so voices per gender just to make up for the sheer volume of NPCs. Or, to be more cost-effective, they should have at least had these voice actors record lines for more than just one character archetype. Sure, we might recognize the same voices here and there, but they at least wouldn't have the same personality and lines. Then there's just the lack of any...well...*character* to these NPCs. They're literally just NPCs through and through and it just makes the game feel almost pointless when there's no actual character to get attached to. Personally, I think this would've been the game to introduce character creation into. You create the main operative of the game, go around recruiting NPCs to unlock special perks and missions, maybe play as the unique story NPCs for their own missions, but for the most part playing as your created character for the whole game. There's still the "recruit anyone" mechanic, with tangible reasons for doing so, but now you have an actual character to play as that you're likely to feel more attached to since you made them yourself.
When the game came out I completed the game as a construction worker. Because the construction worker had a nail gun which acts like a suppressed pistol.
i enjoyed the game for what it was, but it did feel repetitive after a while.. the recruit missions really didn't have depth.. a lot of potential was lost in this game, but still enjoyable
Another TH-camr also said legion just takes the vibes of being this determined hacker from the last two games cause basically any rando is a hacker because of a "phone app" but then again playing WD 1 some enemies are randos would be hackers and criminals with normal everyday jobs who got their hands on profilers.
Like the video if you enjoyed any of the Watch Dogs franchise!

I love the upgrades like the drones, RC’s, and the option to change car paints, etc.
Same I love watch dogs 2
isn't that the entire series
@@bongbingjolright 😂
Or calling gangster and cops on people which was always funny to do. Seeing the swat team run after a runner to tackle them into the ground never got old for me. I used to always call cops on old ladies and watch the cops go to town lol
I loved legion and only just playing number 2, it seems cool so far
To be honest, i actually always wanted to play this game.
As a cyberpunk and tech enthusiast, seeing such a setting makes me happy.
I know a lot of people will hate the fact that you don't have a main character, but that's the point of the game. You need to rally people up to fight back, so that means getting as much support as possible.
All in all, Legion is a game that just needs a few fixes, but is great already.
They really should of built off the 2nd one, a really solid/fun game with a great open world. Hope if/when the 4th installment happens, its more along the lines of the 2nd one.
ubisoft loves to make such good games and change what they should have built off of lmao
You couldn’t really build of the second one it was pretty much the peak of watchdogs gameplay mechanics wise not story that goes to wd 1
@@espo_playz6784i agree, story goes to 1 but i enjoy having allys like marcus does an the parkour and environment of 2 but taking territory’s over in 3 was nice ngl
i’ve finished this game yesterday and I absolutely loved it tbh
😂😂😂
The assassins creed dlc was done perfectly. Feels like what a modern AC setting should be. Complete with a backstory, it feels like watchdogs legion is actually an AC game.
Playing with the Assassin as my main character, it honestly makes the game feel like a modern AC game.
@@Izaatz Indeed. Even better that they added a whole background story for the main character. And that part where you entered the vault. The way they tied AC Syndicate to it... reslly great stuff!
I count every WD game as an AC game lol
Same with Farcry
For sure - it also has way better hidden blade kill animations than the last 3 actual AC games 😅
i love the british accent lol
Ubisoft games are bottom of the barrel, wake up
@@-pressxtostart- You're exactly the person this comment was talking about. This is truly ironic. Anyways, im not gonna defend ubisoft, but don't tell us to wake up because we like one of their products. The game is free on playstation plus extra right now if you have it, so there's always no harm trying it out.
@Ms_anahikelly If u played the whole way with the same character through it prbly is lol
personally i still prefer wd2, legion was definitely unfinished and the story is awful. bloodline however was actually pretty fun to me
This game was great for the simple fact that you could play a wide variety of characters even though most of them had the same voices and abilities it was still good and the fact they got London landscape as it is in real life made this game a great buy♥️👍
They all did not have the same voices and if you actually recruited like you were supposed to “100 plus” possibilities were there
@@See_through866 yes they did they just had different tones dummy
Honest, to the point, and no BS. Keep making vids like these and you deserve 1m+ subs.
Out of all the Watchdogs game I have played, the original is my favorite. The story was just heartfelt and immersive. You can really feel Aiden's emotions throughout the story.
Idk about Legion. WD2 is a nice game but WD1 remains the most representative for me despite the backlash it got. The series needs a refreshment, why not make a spin-off set in another time period?
even with those PC's mods it still lacks that E3 vibe they said it would have.... however like Mirror's Edge, it is the only WD I love
WD Legion is already dead cheap, that game is feel unfinished. I guess ubi do something else instead develop their game that still need care.
@@Gandung_007 they cut support instead of improving it. I guess they wanted a gta-like success but didn't get it and abandoned the game.
@@nitrosodiumcutting support was a bad move. They could have at least added the promised new game plus
3:44 did he just hit the RKO? 😂😂😂😂😂
Aiden 🐐
@@jax_wildguessthat’s because the playtesters called it too complex So the devs simplified
Characters were supposed to have actual stats and percentage based increases not just perks
Get the ultimate edition on sale now (-80%) on my series x so i'm all in on this now.
Great to see. Hope you enjoy them
Legion is my favourite WD game just for how well it depicted my home city.
@@tomoakley760 Legion, just picked it up for 25 dollars, for the ultimate.

i played trhis game threee times. twice on my ps4 and one on my pc and now gonna get it for my ps5 i love the legion!!
I dont think I even got half way throught..
dude wd2 is honestly peak story is great characters and memorable and unique the game is super vibrant and dynamic its so fun man
2:30 hold up now, play it on Resistance mode and then redo that part because you lose the character if they die. So gotta be smart with who you use for each mission.
sneaking in watch dogs 1 was thrilling and challenging, legion is like a demo of what sneaking you could do, but never actually testing you
I love Watch Dogs Legion as it is the first game I have played from this franchise.
If they had a G.T.A feel to the interaction it would be a 10 for the effort of the environment as well.
you can usually get this game for very cheap, I got the ultimate edition for like $20; never pay full price for this but for $20 it's a good buy
I can’t believe they didn’t add hack invasion. That was the best feature in old titles

This game feels like a step into making your own character
I've played both Watch Dogs 1&2 so was thoroughly looking forward to 3. But the lack of a sole protagonist was a big red flag for me. It does feel like it takes away the immersiveness of any video game.
I feel like their is a lot to improve on
1) You create a character, that is who you play as and you are searching the streets to find recruits to exploit for resources instead of the "You can be anyone" cliche
2) Hacking is too complex for a game, with so many drones to control, cars to drives, civilians to scan, bombs to arm, enemies to disable it tends to take away from the combat
3) London is an area with complicated roads, it seems so small but on a realistic note it is nearly 8 times larger in scale with what can be done than GTA Online
4) It has a Cyberpunk vibe without being Cyberpunk, it is like drinking a fluid that looks like water, tastes like water, feels like water, smells like water without being called water
5) Controlling occupied cars make little to no since, In a Masamune Shirow's Ghost in the Shell, agreed with cars being hackable while occupied could be used to become remote death machines
6) Unique stores should be unique clothes, each having 1 style they specialize in so you know where to go for your style, it gets very distracting to have to search 10 stores that has the same shirt just because you can't remember which has what
7) Story mode for Online Mode is something that should be created, It isn't hard as online games tend to be more forgiving with bad story telling. Some bad story telling is plot holes, repeated objective or just delaying until the point is controlled
8) Naruto the Broken Bond is a good way a game catches an Original Manga, This game could have been Ghost in the Shell or Cyberpunk 2077 online if they had the property and balanced resources, but it feels like earlier they gave up too quick. It was released in 2020 and by 2022 they stopped updating it. Looking at GTA Online, the game came out in 2013 and stopping by 2025 (When GTA 6 releases but most likely 2027 when no one plays it on PS4)
9) Interface is very confusing, It is fine once you get the hang of everything but the combat still feels lackluster which the aspect to really enjoy is something of a stealth strike, so many rather play guns blazing and less puzzles.
Facts i just unlocked spy and it was a female
Then just use females then lmao 🤷♀️
@@Chloe_prices_spliff some people just don't want to play as a female
@@theoutsiderjess1869 but like why Lmao. It’s the exact same
@@Chloe_prices_spliff its unrealistic. We all know women can be spies, but stronger than the big guys? Just breaks the immersion, its like a fairy tale 🙂
1. Are there non-urban areas in this game?
2. There are some houses in the game (safehouse) and some interiors that you can enter during free gameplay (except for missions)
Yes, I know it's a strange question, but it makes me want to find out how much the game relies on the title Legion
8. Is it better to buy this game or Watch Dogs 2?
I love this but one thing I have a complain about, when driving a Car it's like I'm driving an Heavy Car
Same i love the game personally. They just need more content in the story and ffs let us replay the story with the characters we collected😤😭
@@Divine_Brady Yeah like a new game plus.
Assassin's Creed is the money making Franchise so they kinda forgot about Watch Dogs tbh.
Watch Dogs 2 came out 2 years after the Orignal Watch Dogs and Legion came out 4 years after the WD2
Next Game gonna come out in 2028 if they follow this pattern.
they should have included Aiden and Wrench to begin with.
They could have been the leaders,
much like Ezio in Revelations.
Watch dogs 2 is my all time favourite. I still need to play Watch dogs legion its not too bad. I just wish it had one main character like Aiden or Marcus instead of choosing random characters to spawn in with.
I’ve only ever played maybe 4 hours of the first game on ps3 and just downloaded legion on ps4 and I’m impressed
Brokie
The game is pretty fun with permadeath imo. Getting attached to the characters and going along with the crazy story just makes it worthwhile.
I think more games should have perma death tbh
Makes it more interesting and enjoyable
I feel like the one problem with Permadeath is that you end up recruiting too many operatives so you don't get a game over
After learning the beta content in the game, I really wish this game can go any further
Legion should definitely be played on permadeath. This also resolve the issue with playing only as a spy or a hitman. Since the game will be harder, you will be more afraid of loosing them so would not choose them so often
Haven't even thought of that. I've always been scared of losing operatives if I'd play permadeath but that sounds really fun reading this.
I’m watching this while playing watch dogs legion

He really hit an RKO out of nowhere
I played 1,2 and 3 but only bought 1 and 3 (shared 2 from a friend ps player) I loved every game, one of the best game series
Ubisoft got that ''great concepts'' kind of view. Same with almost every Ubi game nowadays. Great concepts turned to mid games.
This one was actually my favorite of all of them
Story was actually pretty freaking good
Thank you for this genuine review! I played it yday free for PS Extra Users... And I am liking it so far its quite good but I totally agree with your review, I don't know why Ubisoft always seem to "Half Ass" with games like this, just look at Far Cry lol
I played in PS4 by 2021. Here in Brazil isn't hard to find a physical copy of this game for a good price.
Bro are u still alive. They make Brazil sound like a slum
London ... map was just copy of Assasin Syndicate converted to modern time .. with boring activities im 100% sure if they just did really good charismatic female or male main character game would be so much better , i played mostly Darcy or aiden and yes u are right DLC with aiden and wrench was really good i enjoyed more than basic game XD if they made Bloodline as basic game with i dont know Aiden and Wrench as main character or 3 main characters like gta 5 this game could be better instead doing dlc ,Bloodline could be start of whole story in base game but im done with ubisoft after AC games im not wasting any money if they dont know how to make good game anymore
I edited like 3 times to add something XD 1 more thing .. one thing i enjoyed gameplay in wd3 hacking everything and flying on platform and other things
and next i discovered Cyberpunk and forget about watch dogs and ac games
3:43 are we gonnaa ignoreee the Stone Cold Stunnerrre??? 😎
Watch Dogs 1: Best story, more mature. It has a Batman feeling. I also prefer his profiling system than other WD ones. Also better rain system.
Graphic were good, but far from E3 gameplay. Car handling is a troll
Watch Dogs 2: Graphic and world improvement from WD1 (cinematics are not very different from actual gameplay), better fighting, parkour, hacking system (except nethack) and car handling.
Less than $25 for the whole franchise.
i paid no more for gold edition on all of them on pc for around 20 pounds i refuse too pay stupid money happy i did not
I tried playing a few days I ago but couldn’t get passed the lagging and the sound cutting in and out. I played bloodline which was a little better ( sound wasn’t cutting out every few seconds) and I managed to get to the last mission but couldn’t beat it because it’s so difficult even on normal difficulty. That’s the same mission I couldn’t get passed last time I played it
I love this game you got all the complaints I had cheers mate
Glad you had fun with the game!
The story is better and worth it, when u r playing as Aiden. Just buy the dlc or season pass and game is surely worth it!
I can honestly say I haven't heard the term "rod on" since my school days. 🤣🤣
A shame, I like the premise of the Watch Dogs Franchise, but it would require imho a gritty, more adult-targeted sequel, more like the Original Watch Dogs, even though that also felt a bit tooled down compared to GTA titles, it still was the most gritty title of the whole Watch Dogs Series.
i feel like london as a whole just took from the feel of legion, the other 2 cities felt tons more alive, and i think thats it’s biggest problem
I liked the black singer quest in WD legion. Where he sings while you shoot drones down and stuff.
Characters in 2 were all absolute cringe lords

I got it about a week ago and I’ve played every day since then. I’m baffled as to why this game was not talked about more.
WD1 was simply a work of art that it sadly looks like we've seen the last of.
i got bored playing watch dogs 1 it’s nothing too crazy i still pick watch dogs 2 cuz of the npcs there funny as hell.
@@WhiteBoyEvillook up watch dogs 1 john wick play through. Watch dogs 1 combat is to fun
This is also available now on PS Plus Extra now. Saw this video before deciding on getting it!
Watch Dogs , Far Cry & Last of us are in a weird situation right now
The concept was great on paper, but wound up being way too ambitious for what resources and time they had.
