Donation for bridge is not actually for the bridge that you shown :D :D :D :D .....they speak broken english, that's why they tell u the easiest way to explain,....the donation is actually for stairs in the rice fields, because there are too many tourists, they have to keep on repairing and repairing the stairs so that the stairs are not damaged and so it is comfortable for tourists, locals around that area that take care of it, and they got paid from the donation that you gave :> cool content bro, keep up the good work , cheers!

Many food dishes that were amazing and I'm a foodie so I had to try as many as possible!!🤗 Bali was very relaxing and the people are very welcoming. Just an FYI (I studied Spanish linguistics and phonetics!) Spanish speakers will put an a or e sound in front of words that start with an s follows by a consonant. For example, school, scared, special. They’re often pronounced eschool, escared, or especial. In the Spanish language there’s no words that start with an s and are also followed by a consonant, so their brains will add a vowel sound in front of it! I love it so much! It’s one of my favorite things to listen for. The more you know! 🙌🏻

I like Christian's videos more when he was first blowing up, like between 100,000 to 500,000 subs. he was doing all his editing himself and they weren't overproduced. he had a good mix of raw vlog and smooth drone footage this video is more reminiscent of that older stuff than his newer videos. great video christian!

Amazing videos as per usual Matt, but could you disclose the prices you payed for your accommodation and ALL the activities you do, you covered a few but you failed to mention the cover charge for Jatiluwih ( you are unable to enter the rice field area at all without paying an entry fee) or the costs of massages at these luxury resort. Bali can be on of the cheapest holiday destinations you go to but it would be disingenuous to imply that it is all super cheap and that you are able to do all things you do on a budget. Much love, hope to cross you one day whilst here
Your comment is so true. I been to Bali 3 times. I am a budget long term traveler. These videos are great and all. But it is just not how I do my travelling and I am OK with that. I walk a lot. Walk around neighborhoods and stop at small local markets and local restaurants to get food. Going to the beach or hiking is free. Often many temples are free or low cost. And I still have a great time. Get a few beers and call it day. I do some more expensive tours or activities maybe once every 2 weeks (never very expensive). And I stay in 1 bedroom apartments, rooms, or bare bones places often. NEVER resorts. One aspect that videos like this portray is just one experience that many try to emulate especially if you are on limited time on holiday with money to burn, which is great, do that. One thing this does is how we Westerners are viewed especially by Balinese locals. They see these videos and the color of my skin and say hey, that person has $$$$$$$ to burn and I want them to spend it with me. Which isn't necessarily true. For example, I went to a rib place I really wanted to eat at and the dish was 150,000 rupiah, just a little too much for me at the moment, so I walked out. The Balinese workers were laughing at me and very confused that I didn't have the money. They are also very confused when I don't want to rent a motorbike or use a taxi and would rather walk. I am sure other ethnicities like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arab, and probably if you are any skin color but with a Western accent are viewed in a similar way. But the white privilege thing is real abroad and perpetuating that is just not what I want to do. My final thought is that living that luxurious high life while in foreign places really separates yourself and adds to the inequality of the world even more than it is. Any time I am doing something that I know a local would never be able to afford to do, it gives me a bad taste in my mouth, like what did I do to deserve this, I was born in a Western Country? NO, I didn't do anything to deserve anything. And too many people carry themselves that way and demand that experience. Getting pampered is really uncomfortable too. Anyway, it all stems from colonialism, slavery, the global North and South, and at the end of the day I like making funny faces at the local kids making them smile, feeling humble, and doing me.
We were just in Bali last week, we loved hanging around in Canngu and partying in wild Seminyak and Kuta but it seems we missed so much more. Looks like we'll need to be going back and checking out all these other amazing parts of the island

Any time I am doing something that I know a local would never be able to afford to do, it gives me a bad taste in my mouth, like what did I do to deserve this, I was born in a Western Country? NO, I didn't do anything to deserve anything. And too many people carry themselves that way and demand that experience. Getting pampered is really uncomfortable too. Anyway, it all stems from colonialism, slavery, the global North and South, and at the end of the day I like making funny faces at the local kids making them smile, feeling humble, and doing me.
We were just in Bali last week, we loved hanging around in Canngu and partying in wild Seminyak and Kuta but it seems we missed so much more. Looks like we'll need to be going back and checking out all these other amazing parts of the island
