Hasbro needs to make (a different) Imperial Stormtrooper 4-pack. Essentially with 3 standard Imperial Stormtroopers from A New Hope via TVC, plus an exclusive new figure of TK-421.
Few ships from Rogue one would be awesome in TVC including the drop shop Bistan is firing out of, plus it'd be nice get some Rogue One figures updated or new ones ( also a popular opinion)😊
Krennic's shuttle is too much in the rearview and didn't do much in the movie, anyway. The current shuttie is already huge, I can't see it being bigger than that. But if they did, the only path for mega-vehicles now is Haslab, and I don't see that one being made in that way.

Great show, Bossk! QFNW, do you remember the accessory packs from way back during the Phantom Menace figure line? What are your thoughts on a TVC version of those? I don't know how viable an idea it would be for Hasbro at the moment, but I think a line of accessory packs that accompany their army builder 4-packs would be a fun idea and cool way to change up the accessories of the figures in our displays. Just a fun thought. Keep up the great work!

Hello Bossk’s Bounty, loved the video this week! Thanks for what you do in the community. I’m a new channel member so I’ve enjoyed learning about the 3-3/4” line. QFNW- I just finished the Bad Batch and was surprised that this series has next to nothing as far as 3-3/4” figures. We don’t have a complete set of Clone Force 99, and don’t even have a Marauder. Why do you think that this show, has seen so little attention from Hasbro? There were some great characters in the series and I’m really surprised that they haven’t been made yet. I’d even love the Marauder as a HasLab with the whole team. What are your thoughts on this, and why TBB has been virtually ignored in the TVC? Please keep up the good work for us fans, and keep them videos coming!

For the first question of multipacks that sounds like basically along the lines of the old battle packs or evolutions packs. They should definitely do that. And they might as well bring back the comic packs too.

Hey BB, question for next week with The Ghost Haslab coming have we missed the boat tonget any more Rebels series figures in TVC line? Also which some you think should be made. Mine would be Jedi Temple Guards, Agent Kallus, Asoka, Old man Rex, old man Darth Maul are afew important ones i would like to see in TVC!
I was rather lucky that a local shop of mine threw in the Plagius figure in a small bundle of dark side-focused character figures, so I walked out rather proud with that find, with the main con being he was lacking his unique staff-lightsaber accessory. A reissue would appeal to me to reacquire that piece alone unless the small repro market for modern figure accessories has/will done a recreation of that piece. I need to remember to check them out for a version of Rey's yellow TROS lightsaber for my TBS figure. Out-of-the-package breaks suck, particularly frustrating on older figures, and despite that I do struggle sometimes to remember to use heating treatments to loosen joints up. (I'm a little ticked I didn't try to replace M'iiyoom Onith when I broke her head prior to the TVC Cantina driving her price up) With modern figures I broke the leg of TBS 3 3/4" Bouush Leia (which i blame mostly for being clumsy opening her in the middle of the night.), and also the TBS 6" Ghost Qui-Gon's left hand. On the former I slept through replacing her with the TVC reissue and it'll be a bit costly to catch up on that, and for the latter I did buy a 2nd, but experienced the exact same joint stiffness on him, so given the limited mobility of force ghost figures anyways I cut my loses and settled with the broken one, using sticky-tac to keep the hand on ironically gives it greater mobility.

I don't really care about super articulation and one of the reasons is that every time I try to pose one of those figures I feel like I'm going to break it and I don't feel like spending another 20 bucks. Personally, 10 to 12 points of articulation would be ideal and would lead to nicer looking figures as well.

What are some troop builder four packs you would like to see? I am personally hoping for a Jedi: Fallen Order/Survivor pack with four scout troopers using the new body (much better helmet and ankle rockers iirc). One of them would also be a Commander with the additional orange pauldron. My other idea is a purge trooper four pack, all on the new clone body. But this was the first instance where Hasbro began running a TVC Haslab campaign before the previous one had been delivered. The Ghost is set to be delivered in the next few months, but the fact that it had not yet been delivered didn't escape the notice of many in the community. Also, news about the Ghost's development has been somewhat lacking. There was also a fair amount of discussion about the Cantina campaign not being made at a major event. If Hasbro were to announce a new campaign in 2026, which of the following events do you think would be best for that launch? Star Wars Celebration Japan (April 2025), SDCC (July 2025) or Hasbro Pulse Con (likely to be in September 25, albeit as an online event). Interested to hear your thoughts on this state of affairs.
Thanks to you for the work you are doing with your channel. You brought up a reminder for me about the emperor's dignitaries. All I remember was that Kenner originally released 1 of the figures and Hasbro came out later with 2 more. I believe that ROTJ had 4 or 6 of these characters. How may years did it take Hasbro to finally hear the fans and. produce the sisters from the cantina. I believe thanks to you and the others Hasbro finally realized there was money to be made. Hey BB QFNW… I just recently started building up a small TVC collection and looking at what’s available would love to see some more of The Clone Wars characters come to TVC, Darth Sidious w/dual sabers, Mother Talzin with the Nightsisters, Savage Opress, and Asajj Ventress. I’ll even give Master Plo Koon and the Mortis gods an honorable a mention. Is there any characters during TCW that you would want to see released?
Hey Tim, as far as I could see, in the recent Hasbro SDCC livestream there was no mention of the cantina and no additional cantina characters or aliens were pipelined. Do you think Hasbro are enthusiastic about the Cantina or will the relatively low amount of backers deter them from making as many new Cantina characters in 3.75? My dream would be additional cantina aliens in the Retro collection but appreciate that could be a bit niche for those who didn’t back the Haslab. Love the channel, Scott

Hey Bossk, love the show. Unlike the black series, TVC doesn’t have much comic book representation. If TVC did more comics books characters, how would you like hasbro to handle the card backs? Would you prefer a live action artists interpretation or would you be ok with art directly from the comic book itself. Thank you keep up the good work.
As always a great video. First I wanted to wait later in the week to ask my question based on what we may see. And well best part of the reveal was the shriek hawk set. 2nd best I guess you can say the hallway playset yet I will still say it’s a fail. If you are a world builder and want to build up scenes you should have to buy sets that have a unique character that you are then stuck with. In my opinion the should have went with Gideon Super Commandos. This way you can build up both the scenes and a squad. When you look back they nailed it with the Tantive IV and were meh with the Carbon Freeze (should have been Ugnaught). Sorry long rant but don’t think these decisions are based off what Disney/Lucasfilm wants or some dept. head making these decisions? I don’t think we can hold Steve E. to too much yet since these were in production when he took over.
I don't know if I agree with you about the success of soft goods robe hoods in TVC. The stitched seams always seem to bunch up inside the hood around the neck and chin of the figure, making it look like they're wearing one of those neck pillows you wear on a long flight. To me this always ruins the illusion and screams TOY. I never thought of a swappable plastic hood up or hood down option, and I gotta say I'm all for it.
Hey BB question for next week, with the oversaturation of the newer five POA figures sitting at local Walmarts and targets most of them never been purchased and having to be clearance down or sold at discount stores, why is it that Hasbro continues to waste their money trying to market to a younger generation that clearly doesn’t care for action figures. Wouldn’t it make sense to put that money towards the TVC?

I know various polls have been done asking for lists in the past, but it seems like Hasbro is looking for a concerted effort from the community to give them serious input. Just not sure what the best way may be for that, but something similar to March Madness or LFS may be beneficial for us as fans in the long run. Any thoughts?

QFNW, maybe it’s just me, but it seems like reissues are dying down a bit, which is a bummer when I still need figures like Dengar, Lumat, Magnaguards, Kit Fisto, and a number of other prequel figures to get reissued. It even feels like a wasted opportunity to not release some of those prequel figures on the anniversary. Do you think 1.0 figures will still be made available in the future, or should I start biting the bullet on eBay? Thanks

Hi, BB! QFNW: I keep hearing it said that Hammerhead is tall and that his TVC release in 2025 will be a deluxe figure. I really don't see why this has to be the case. In 2018, Yak Face (a tall figure) was released in TVC and Hasbro chose to move his name pill to the right in order to accommodate the taller figure. This approach was deemed unnecessary for the (even taller) Chewbacca figure in TVC. We need Hammerhead released on his original cardback. Am I missing something? Thanks as always, ma man! 👍

Why do they keep putting name characters with just 3 troops???? Why can't Hasbro get these small details right??? Why do they continue to make these small mistakes but it means alot to collectors??? Do they have an actual collector on the panel who make these decisions if they don't maybe they should!!! Sorry for waffling but I just can't understand the foolosh decisions they make!!!?!? bossk, did you see the Next 17's new video about a bounty that boba fett can't find? that video suggests a new character that can be made into a figure perhaps, let me know if you want the figure i am talking about to be a star wars figure, and you can draw up a costume for him and show it in your next video if you want or ask your son to draw a star wars inspired costume for that character
I do hope that hasbro will release darth plagueis in the vintage collection and it’s has to be all new figure as well but if they do the same as the black series then I wouldn’t mind either way just as long they release him and I really need him in my collection and I haven’t not got him in my collection and that’s is why hasbro should release him in the vintage collection

Heavily disagree with your answer to the first question. Every new figure in TVC should be fully modern, no skimping on articulation. The upcoming 8D8 is one of the most controversial figures of the past few years because they're putting a 5POA figure in TVC (which is a travesty in my opinion). It can't be a case-by-case basis because they're all TVC and buying a TVC figure should uphold a certain standard so you know you're getting a certain level of quality when you buy a TVC figure. No one is asking for 5 POA TBS figures so there is no reason to ask for 5POA TVC figures. Ridiculous that we're getting 5POA 8D8. Worst figure in all of TVC 2.0 if you ask me. Such a shame.
Yes so that figure needs the articulation, particularly the articulation needed so you can make him do what he did the film. Nobody mentioned 5POA. The question was about 9POA. We are NEVER getting a Sim Aloo as it just won’t make the return on investment, now if it means getting him but he doesn’t have rocker ankles then so be it. The Offworld Jawa doesn’t even have ankle articulation and it takes nothing away from them in my display. They have robes covering them and they won’t be doing cartwheels anytime soon. As I said you’ve turned the answer into people advocating for 5POA when it wasn’t even mentioned.
@@BossksBounty 5POA, 9POA, whatever, my point stands, one is about as bad as the other. I will never ask for less in TVC. And I don't see how making a 9POA Sim Aloo makes for a better return on investment. If he's a worse figure then less people will buy him anyway. And if we accept them making a bad Sim Aloo that will definitely be the last one they ever do so he will be bad forever, as 8D8 is now doomed to be. Same goes for any backgrounder. If they dedicate new tooling to make an inferior figure, they will be bad forever cuz those charaters do not get a second chance. I would much rather they wait til they have the space in the line to do these things properly. Better to wait than accept garbage like 8D8 in TVC. 5POA or 9POA, neither is good enough for TVC anymore.
@@qmighty54 and that opinion is fine but it means you will be waiting forever (probably never) for Sim Aloo and a host of other characters that literally just stand there in the film, all because you want him flipping around doing the splits on your shelf. I agree 8D8 is bad, but nobody asked for him to be like that. And we have made our point clear on it. As I said nobody is advocating for less but for characters like Sim Allo or any other 90 year old character then Jedi type articulation really isn’t necessary. But regardless we ain’t getting him anyway, as they will never spend that amount of tooling budget on a figure that just won’t sell.
Cool vid, why are the tvc ships so out of scale, for me the tvc line is aimed at children to play with figs, ships or play sets but i feel sorry for the parents to buy over priced stuff from the tvc for there kids,I feel that the young kids avoid tvc & the 3.75 fig line is dying off undortunatly,
I disagree 3.75 is aimed at kids, personally i feel it is the other way round. 3.75 is aimed at the olders who have collected that scale since childhood, me included. Especially as most keep them mint on card. But i agree 3.75 is dying out. If you collect 3.75 you get less than half of the cool characters black series gets, and it drives kids towards black series. Im a 3.75 die hard but my sons love black series because they can get all the bad batch or loads of jedi etc. It takes years to get completed teams or highly wanted figures in tvc. The haslab cantina for example is aimed directly at adults with plenty of cash, no kids are gonna afford that. The problem with that is as the tvc fan base ages, the line will start to suffer as the kids will be invested in black series. There are way to many repaints and repacks in tvc, until that changes, youngers will want black series, and i for one dont disagree with them. And that hurts me to say as a 3.75 collector.

Hey BB, question for next week with The Ghost Haslab coming have we missed the boat tonget any more Rebels series figures in TVC line? Also which some you think should be made. Mine would be Jedi Temple Guards, Agent Kallus, Asoka, Old man Rex, old man Darth Maul are afew important ones i would like to see in TVC!
I was rather lucky that a local shop of mine threw in the Plagius figure in a small bundle of dark side-focused character figures, so I walked out rather proud with that find, with the main con being he was lacking his unique staff-lightsaber accessory. A reissue would appeal to me to reacquire that piece alone unless the small repro market for modern figure accessories has/will done a recreation of that piece. I need to remember to check them out for a version of Rey's yellow TROS lightsaber for my TBS figure.
Out-of-the-package breaks suck, particularly frustrating on older figures, and despite that I do struggle sometimes to remember to use heating treatments to loosen joints up. (I'm a little ticked I didn't try to replace M'iiyoom Onith when I broke her head prior to the TVC Cantina driving her price up) With modern figures I broke the leg of TBS 3 3/4" Bouush Leia (which i blame mostly for being clumsy opening her in the middle of the night.), and also the TBS 6" Ghost Qui-Gon's left hand. On the former I slept through replacing her with the TVC reissue and it'll be a bit costly to catch up on that, and for the latter I did buy a 2nd, but experienced the exact same joint stiffness on him, so given the limited mobility of force ghost figures anyways I cut my loses and settled with the broken one, using sticky-tac to keep the hand on ironically gives it greater mobility.
Hi BB! Great show as always! QFNW what do you think the prority for figure releases are? We need Cantina patrons. But now I want The Stranger, Plageus, Dark Osha, and more Jedi, Kellnaca,Jeckie, Yord!! I think Hasbro has a lot of difficult decisions to make. How many figures can they release a year? Thanks!
I don't really care about super articulation and one of the reasons is that every time I try to pose one of those figures I feel like I'm going to break it and I don't feel like spending another 20 bucks. Personally, 10 to 12 points of articulation would be ideal and would lead to nicer looking figures as well.

What are some troop builder four packs you would like to see? I am personally hoping for a Jedi: Fallen Order/Survivor pack with four scout troopers using the new body (much better helmet and ankle rockers iirc). One of them would also be a Commander with the additional orange pauldron. My other idea is a purge trooper four pack, all on the new clone body. We would get all four versions- electrostaff, electro batons, electro hammer, and the commander:
Appreciate all that you do, Tim! QFNW: The Vintage Collection now has 4 successful Haslab campaigns in the books. But this was the first instance where Hasbro began running a TVC Haslab campaign before the previous one had been delivered. The Ghost is set to be delivered in the next few months, but the fact that it had not yet been delivered didn't escape the notice of many in the community. Also, news about the Ghost's development has been somewhat lacking.
There was also a fair amount of discussion about the Cantina campaign not being made at a major event. If Hasbro were to announce a new campaign in 2026, which of the following events do you think would be best for that launch? Star Wars Celebration Japan (April 2025), SDCC (July 2025) or Hasbro Pulse Con (likely to be in September 25, albeit as an online event).
Interested to hear your thoughts on this state of affairs.

Thanks to you for the work you are doing with your channel. You brought up a reminder for me about the emperor's dignitaries. All I remember was that Kenner originally released 1 of the figures and Hasbro came out later with 2 more. I believe that ROTJ had 4 or 6 of these characters. How may years did it take Hasbro to finally hear the fans and. produce the sisters from the cantina. I believe thanks to you and the others Hasbro finally realized there was money to be made. Maybe the fans will eventually get all of the emperor's council? Thanks for all the work you do in keeping us informed and a shout out to little bossk.
Question for next week: I see you're in favor of a re-tool/re-release of the AT-AT. As someone who owns either the Legacy or the Smuggler's Run Falcon, do you think there's anything they can do to it to update it and make it even more amazing as a potential future HasLab, or are those current versions as definitive as it could possibly get?

I’ll even give Master Plo Koon and the Mortis gods an honorable a mention. Is there any characters during TCW that you would want to see released?
Hey Tim, as far as I could see, in the recent Hasbro SDCC livestream there was no mention of the cantina and no additional cantina characters or aliens were pipelined. Do you think Hasbro are enthusiastic about the Cantina or will the relatively low amount of backers deter them from making as many new Cantina characters in 3.75? My dream would be additional cantina aliens in the Retro collection but appreciate that could be a bit niche for those who didn’t back the Haslab. Love the channel, Scott

Hey Bossk, love the show. Unlike the black series, TVC doesn’t have much comic book representation. If TVC did more comics books characters, how would you like hasbro to handle the card backs? As always a great video. First I wanted to wait later in the week to ask my question based on what we may see. And well best part of the reveal was the shriek hawk set. 2nd best I guess you can say the hallway playset yet I will still say it’s a fail. If you are a world builder and want to build up scenes you should have to buy sets that have a unique character that you are then stuck with. In my opinion the should have went with Gideon Super Commandos. This way you can build up both the scenes and a squad. When you look back they nailed it with the Tantive IV and were meh with the Carbon Freeze (should have been Ugnaught). Sorry long rant but don’t think these decisions are based off what Disney/Lucasfilm wants or some dept. head making these decisions? I don’t think we can hold Steve E. to too much yet since these were in production when he took over.
I don't know if I agree with you about the success of soft goods robe hoods in TVC. The stitched seams always seem to bunch up inside the hood around the neck and chin of the figure, making it look like they're wearing one of those neck pillows you wear on a long flight. To me this always ruins the illusion and screams TOY. I never thought of a swappable plastic hood up or hood down option, and I gotta say I'm all for it.
Hey BB question for next week, with the oversaturation of the newer five POA figures sitting at local Walmarts and targets most of them never been purchased and having to be clearance down or sold at discount stores, why is it that Hasbro continues to waste their money trying to market to a younger generation that clearly doesn’t care for action figures. Wouldn’t it make sense to put that money towards the TVC?

I feel like we’ve had maybe 1 or 2 since it was funded and nothing else, with the previous 2 there where constant updates and images and we’ve had none of that for the ghost. Hey Tim, QFNW; what is the best way to let Hasbro know what vehicles we are interested in as a community? I know various polls have been done asking for lists in the past, but it seems like Hasbro is looking for a concerted effort from the community to give them serious input. Just not sure what the best way may be for that, but something similar to March Madness or LFS may be beneficial for us as fans in the long run. Any thoughts?

QFNW, maybe it’s just me, but it seems like reissues are dying down a bit, which is a bummer when I still need figures like Dengar, Lumat, Magnaguards, Kit Fisto, and a number of other prequel figures to get reissued. It even feels like a wasted opportunity to not release some of those prequel figures on the anniversary. Do you think 1.0 figures will still be made available in the future, or should I start biting the bullet on eBay? Thanks

Hi, BB! QFNW: I keep hearing it said that Hammerhead is tall and that his TVC release in 2025 will be a deluxe figure. I really don't see why this has to be the case. In 2018, Yak Face (a tall figure) was released in TVC and Hasbro chose to move his name pill to the right in order to accommodate the taller figure. This approach was deemed unnecessary for the (even taller) Chewbacca figure in TVC. We need Hammerhead released on his original cardback. Am I missing something? Thanks as always, ma man! 👍

Great stuff as always BB question for next week who makes the decision on how these troop builder packs are made whatvi mean is why can't we get 4 toilets 4 Stormtroopers 4 Tuskins etc??? Why do they keep putting name characters with just 3 troops???? Why can't Hasbro get these small details right??? Why do they continue to make these small mistakes but it means alot to collectors??? Do they have an actual collector on the panel who make these decisions if they don't maybe they should!!! Sorry for waffling but I just can't understand the foolosh decisions they make!!!?!? Heavily disagree with your answer to the first question. Every new figure in TVC should be fully modern, no skimping on articulation. The upcoming 8D8 is one of the most controversial figures of the past few years because they're putting a 5POA figure in TVC (which is a travesty in my opinion). It can't be a case-by-case basis because they're all TVC and buying a TVC figure should uphold a certain standard so you know you're getting a certain level of quality when you buy a TVC figure. No one is asking for 5 POA TBS figures so there is no reason to ask for 5POA TVC figures. Ridiculous that we're getting 5POA 8D8. Worst figure in all of TVC 2.0 if you ask me. Such a shame.
Yes so that figure needs the articulation, particularly the articulation needed so you can make him do what he did the film. Nobody mentioned 5POA. The question was about 9POA. We are NEVER getting a Sim Aloo as it just won’t make the return on investment, now if it means getting him but he doesn’t have rocker ankles then so be it. The Offworld Jawa doesn’t even have ankle articulation and it takes nothing away from them in my display. They have robes covering them and they won’t be doing cartwheels anytime soon. As I said you’ve turned the answer into people advocating for 5POA when it wasn’t even mentioned.
@@BossksBounty 5POA, 9POA, whatever, my point stands, one is about as bad as the other. I will never ask for less in TVC. And I don't see how making a 9POA Sim Aloo makes for a better return on investment. If he's a worse figure then less people will buy him anyway. And if we accept them making a bad Sim Aloo that will definitely be the last one they ever do so he will be bad forever, as 8D8 is now doomed to be. Same goes for any backgrounder. If they dedicate new tooling to make an inferior figure, they will be bad forever cuz those charaters do not get a second chance. I would much rather they wait til they have the space in the line to do these things properly. Better to wait than accept garbage like 8D8 in TVC. 5POA or 9POA, neither is good enough for TVC anymore.
@@qmighty54 and that opinion is fine but it means you will be waiting forever (probably never) for Sim Aloo and a host of other characters that literally just stand there in the film, all because you want him flipping around doing the splits on your shelf. I agree 8D8 is bad, but nobody asked for him to be like that. And we have made our point clear on it. As I said nobody is advocating for less but for characters like Sim Allo or any other 90 year old character then Jedi type articulation really isn’t necessary. But regardless we ain’t getting him anyway, as they will never spend that amount of tooling budget on a figure that just won’t sell.
Cool vid, why are the tvc ships so out of scale, for me the tvc line is aimed at children to play with figs, ships or play sets but i feel sorry for the parents to buy over priced stuff from the tvc for there kids,I feel that the young kids avoid tvc & the 3.75 fig line is dying off undortunatly,
I disagree 3.75 is aimed at kids, personally i feel it is the other way round. 3.75 is aimed at the olders who have collected that scale since childhood, me included. Especially as most keep them mint on card. But i agree 3.75 is dying out. If you collect 3.75 you get less than half of the cool characters black series gets, and it drives kids towards black series. Im a 3.75 die hard but my sons love black series because they can get all the bad batch or loads of jedi etc. It takes years to get completed teams or highly wanted figures in tvc. The haslab cantina for example is aimed directly at adults with plenty of cash, no kids are gonna afford that. The problem with that is as the tvc fan base ages, the line will start to suffer as the kids will be invested in black series. There are way to many repaints and repacks in tvc, until that changes, youngers will want black series, and i for one dont disagree with them. And that hurts me to say as a 3.75 collector.
