Berserker fighters like that kinda annoying to deal with. At some point you just gotta stand your ground and pound it out, see who is tougher. Ruumet did some damage with those elbows though.
Marie ruumett needs more weight training. I have seen quite a bit of her fights . She definitely knows what she is doing just doesn't seem to have as much strength. I have noticed she is much more a traditional Muay Thai fighter as opposed to the brawlers that seems to be the norm in ONE championship
If Yu learns some defense, she would be unstoppable. The problem will be if she steps in the ring with someone with some real power, she will get KO'd. She got a lot of damage for this hard fought victory. Ruumet has some very mean elbows.
I'll preface this by acknowledging that "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face". I'm baffled that fighters keep getting thrown to Yu, seemingly unprepared for her smothering 'Yodwicha-like' style. Do your 8 week fight camp exclusively training clinch elbows as that's obviously where it's going to end. There's enough vids of her style to prepare for it. Shark-bait every training session with clinchers. Again, I understand it's a whole different world when you're in there. Fair play to Ruumet for surviving the distance.
A difficult fighter for someone without much experience, she needed be in a better position in her feet and every time Yu came, Rummet need wait for her with a close guard and knees, elbows in front. Next time snow leopard! 💪

Despite everything Ruumet as a lot of bravery to fight these martial artists such as Meksen or Yu, respect 🙏🏼

I’ve seen a few of Yu’s fights and she has a huge gas tank. She just doesn’t stop.
