    Great reaction as always!
So this follows an amazing story, a story that any scriptwriter would love to have. This follows the story of Deft, a prolific Korean ADC, who has played professionally since 2013 and came close to but never won the LoL World Championship.
We see him at the beginning going to high school where coincidentally the most famous LoL player attended, Faker. Faker is setup as a sort of antagonist in this story because their stories go along very different paths, often coming into conflict at major tournaments. They both debuted in 2013 for different teams and while Deft's team failed to make an impact, Faker would go on to win Worlds 2013 as a rookie, and eventually win Worlds 3 times (the most by any organization in League) and become known as the 'Unkillable Demon King' (this is legitimately Faker's nickname x'D). Deft in the meantime would continue to struggle to rise to the top.
In 2014, Deft's team (Samsung Blue) would make it to the Worlds Semifinals where they would be 3-0'd by their sister team (Samsung White - the Korean LoL league allowed Orgs to have 2 teams back then) who would then go on to win 2014 Worlds. (Scene - the Jayce vs Lucian)
In 2015 Deft left Korea for China to join EDG alongside Teammate Meiko (remember this name, its important). That year EDG won the Mid-Season Invitation (a miniature worlds tournament), beating SKT & Faker in the finals. They would then make it to Worlds Quarterfinals where he would once again be 3-0'd by Fnatic, a European team (Scene: Rekkles as Kennen vs Deft as Sivir and Meiko as Thresh)
In 2016, Deft once again made Quarterfinals with EDG but lost 1-3 (not shown in video)
He wouldnt return to worlds until 2018 with a new team, KT Rolster, where he would once again be knocked out in Quarterfinals by IG, the team who would go on to win 2018 Worlds. (not shown in video)
In 2020 Deft would - once again - make it to worlds with another team, DRX, with teammates Doran & Keria (again, remember these names) but be defeated in the Quarterfinals by DWG, who would go on to win Worlds 2020 (Scene - Deft as Senna, Doran as Jax, Keria as Braum nobly sacrificing himself).
In 2021 Deft would - once again x'D - make it to worlds with another new team, HLE, and once again, lost in the Quarterfinals, this time to Faker & T1 (formerly SKT).
Cue Worlds 2022. Deft once again makes it to worlds, now back with DRX but with almost an entirely new group of teammates around him. There is speculation that Deft is going to retire soon (some saying after Worlds 2022) because his mandatory military service is coming up. Deft once again manages to make it to the knockout stage at Worlds, but he & DRX are massive underdogs in the tournament, expected to once again exit during Quarterfinals.
However, Deft & DRX go on a stunning run through the brackets, defeating teams that were massive favorites against them, and filled with some of Deft's old teammates:
    - Scene: Deft as Draven vs Meiko as Renata (his old 2015 EDG teammate) & EDG in the Quarterfinals
    - Scene: Deft as Varus vs Doran as Renekton (his 2020 DRX teammate) & GenG (who were massive favorites to win the whole thing) in the Semifinals
    - Scene: Deft as Caitlyn vs Keria as Karma (another 2020 DRX teammate), Faker as Viktor (the original rival) & T1.
Deft & DRX would win Worlds 2022 as underdogs, finally getting Deft a Worlds Trophy after 10 years of trying, defeating a gauntlet of his old teammates and the 'Unkillable Demon King' to get there.
You literally couldn't write a better script. Deft is an anime protagonist x'D

2022 worlds was the most amazing cinderella storyline in League esports ever. So the protagonist in this video is Deft. He and the GOAT Faker went to the same highschool in the same year and they both debuted in professional league in 2013. But whereas Faker ended up winning worlds thrice, Deft was constantly knocked out in quarter or semi finals of the tournament. that's what the first half of the video illustrates. moments from years past at worlds where Deft lost. So last year Deft was on a true underdog team. they were the 4th best team from Korea coming into the tournament, like there were barely any expectations of them to make it past top 8. But they really leveled up and some of their players had their tournament of their lives. there are several moments hightlighted in the part focused on last years worlds where Deft fighting his previous teammates. They beat SKT in the world finals using Caitlyn for Deft and then he chose her for the worldchampions skinline

Man seeing Keria protect Deft as Braum, "sacrificing himself" basically, and later he comes back as Karna against Deft's Caitlyn... That hits hard... Straight out of anime story line, Deft's journey.

This song and video kinda makes me nostalgic both with the music and visuals being closer to how the 2014 video is, they both have the same type of vibe

Love the song! But here is some more context for the animation, since there is a lot in there than meets the eye initially about story.
The story follows the story of Deft, one of the greatest (if not the greatest ADC of all time). He was always an amazing player, but just not able to find success on the worlds stage until 2022.
First Act - High School Scene: Faker (widely considered to the GOAT of LoL) and Deft went to the same High School (Mapo High School), though they were not in the same class as depicted in the story.
PvE Section (Deft vs Blue Buff & Faker vs Baron): Throwback to Season 3 (2013). Deft joins MVP Blue. The team was overall not successful. However, during that time, Faker joins T1, and takes the LOL world by storm and is instantly a superstar. Deft definitely respected Faker as a player, and seeing this is what makes Deft go "grind".
Lucian vs Jayce Scene - Throwback to Season 4 (2014). The Jayce is PawN, who was briefly on Samsung Blue (the team that Deft is on at this point) before swapping to the sister team Samsung White. They face off against each other, with PawN Jayce one-shotting Deft Lucian with the hammer. Foreshadowing the overall Teammate to Enemy Narrative of the animation.
Forest Scene - Throwback to Season 5 (2015) Deft, now with EDG, forms a botlane with Meiko (The thresh in the video). They make it out of groups as a second place team, and are set to play against Rekkles's Fnatic. They famously lose to FNC 3-0, with Rekkles pulling out his famous AD Kennen. Bonus: Rekkles famously looks up to Deft, almost like an idol.
Ice World Scene - Throwback to season 10 (2020). Deft is now on DRX playing with Doran (the Jax) & Keria (the Braum). They once again lose in quarters, this time to Canyon (Graves) & Showmaker (Syndra)'s Damwon Kia (Now D plus). Keria had famously said in an interview that he would do whatever it takes to get Deft a world championship when the two of them partnered in that botlane, likely why there is the emotional scene where he sacrifices himself to protect Deft.
Pit Scene - The transition from the losses to the story of 2022 Worlds. There was a chance that Deft was going to retire after this tournament, potentially (speculation) that he was losing confidence on the international stage due to his past. In addition, DRX was a team that just barely made it to worlds, having to play through a gauntlet for the last Korean spot and play through play ins. However, they make it through to the knock out stage despite the low expectations (people had said if any of the LCK teams weren't going to make it through groups, it was going to be DRX)
The Arena - the first opponent: The antagonist for the team is Meiko's (teammate from EDG in season 5, the Thresh in the video) Renata Glasc. Meiko is still on EDG, now partnering with Viper. In the series, DRX fall to 0-2 in the best of 5, but in Game 3, Deft surprisingly pulls out the Draven (which is why he is carrying the spinning axes in these scene - Deft is not known as a Draven player. However, they win the game and go on to reverse sweep EDG.
The Area - the second opponent: The antagonist for the team is now Doran's (teammate from season 10, the Jax) Renekton. In one of the games in the series, Doran got a massive lead in the top lane, but Deft (on Varus, hence the bow) and DRX win despite the deficit.
The Arena - the final fight: Deft makes it to the top level (the Grand Finals of the world championship). There he sees his old teammate Keria (teammate from season 10, the Braum that scarified himself). They fight, with Faker joining part of the way. Just as it seems like Deft is about to lose, the rest of the DRX team shows up (Kingen's Aatrox, Pyoshik's Hecarim, Zeka's Azir, and BeryL's Bard, which, along with Deft's Caitlyn make up the team comp of game 5 that they used to face against Keria's Karma and Faker's Viktor, so champs are accurate to the IRL event). Together they are able to beat T1 and get Deft his first world championship.
Now this is all just from the main storyline. Riot has a tendency to include some hidden easter eggs through the video, so there may be more callouts I missed, since I didn't go through it frame by frame. But, all this goes so how many details of Deft's story are depicted in the animation. Super cool to see imo.
    Sorry for the essay haha

I don't see many reactors do these, but if you want a hype video of the tournament (this Gods video finishes on the final of 2022) the "Worlds 2022 moments and memories" video is a really good watch I'd love to see you see it!

Basically the story, is the first guy (Deft) irl we see in the school having to fight against his former teammates in order to win worlds. Deft has been robbed of the worlds win and has achieved his dream of winning worlds.

Honestly I really like the song, but sometimes I feel like all the worlds songs are kinda samey. So catchy you can't help but replay it over and over again, then you get bored of it and move on. But I realize that is a subjective outcome and that just because I have come to such doesn't mean others will feel the same.
