The luches is such a great tank, and quangaun replicated that in some spectacular detail I didn’t know they were capable of…if I look past the shitty tracks, I’m going to defiantly buy the tank and use it for smaller German Mocs😁

Weird, I've never had a QuanGuan tank that didn't include enough spare track links to cover the 3-5x bad ones in every set. I love that they're branching into original tanks and not just making COBI clones though, this Luchs and the Type 89 I-Go are great

Cobi knows that Quan Guan copies their parts and old sets. That was mentioned on a Cobi live stream. But as long as Quan Guan copies do not become too many in Europe, there is no need to do anything about it. Quan Guan is at least not that brazen, and also writes COBI on the bricks.
I bought the same one, from Amazon and it came in a box and had no damage what so ever.

I was planning on making something like this using Cobi parts from a Panther, but as the VK 16.02 Leopard, sadly Amazon is all out

Hmm... I've a bit of confused feelings about this set. The representation is excellent, but considering the quality of the set, we'll, that's a downside. They've tried something new in this set, like an engine made from normal parts, vs the moulded engine (which have lots of details but look horrible with that sheen in the plastic). Well I guess not all consumers will get the same broken tracks atleast. But overall, the set is a good one for representation. Is their a COBI version of this thing?
No
The newer sets are in-house developments of Quan Guan. The Luchs, the VK 16.02, the BT7, the RSO Raupenschlepper or the japanese tractor are really great sets and no Cobi copies.
When u we’re putting on the tracks, I usually make the tracks on my COBI sets tighter than im supposed to make them and I have to same issue-
Kommt der japanische Type 89 I-GO von QuanGuan auch noch? Ist auch ein richtig tolles Modell, zwar übliche QuanGuan-Qualität, aber richtig gut gelungen für den Preis und COBI hat dieses Modell auch nicht.
Ja leider fehlen bei Cobi generell so japanische, italienische oder französische Panzer. Naja abgesehen vom Somua... Die wären allesamt eine schöne Ergänzung.

Ich glaube was hier gut wäre da es diesen oanzer von cobi leider nicht gibt, schauen was für teile hier benutzt werden, und die alle oder fast alle so bei cobi nachkaufen um ihn mit cobi steinen nachzubauen. Is vllt ein wenig teuer aber sieht vllt besser aus und hält besser
Ich würde sogar soweit gehen, mir mit Hilfe einer Cobi Anleitung den Panzer II Turm nachzubauen und eben nur die Wanne von Quan Guan zu benutzen bzw eben auch mit Cobi Teilen nachzubauen. Weil der Turm vom Luchs und normalen Panzer II waren ja identisch, nur die Wanne war komplett anders. Das würde sicher eine nette Kombination ergeben in bewährter Cobi Qualität. Mein Luchs ist immer wieder an den beiden Kettenschutzblechen auseinander gefallen, hier musste ich mit Hilfe solcher Lego Teppichrutscher das ganze stabilisieren...

Tbh it not looks like real 2L, mostly case turret way too big.
Yet. Lets be honest, there are not many alternatives(at least i dont know about them), and Quan kinda cheap... So, why not?
Ordered it few days ago and i guess it would be good addition to my QG type-89(imo type-89 best one in QG lineup in terms of realism), pz38t, su-76, marder, bt-7, panther and sherman.
Yes, as owner of few Cobi's set(Is-2, t-72, Tiger 2p) i admit, cobi's sets better, they making lots of uniq parts, while QG focuses on making more *universal* parts, like hatches, MGs, gun mounts(bt-7, sherman and this pz2L shares same one), but if, thats how they can make their sets cheaper...
I guess its fine by me.

Remove the engine, move the turret mount point back about 2 studs and you'd have proper proportions.
The tank looks too long because the turret is too far forward because of the engine, an easy fix...
I wanna buy this set because I like the figures it comes with, but the tracks are just so bad
