nice complex in a nice location.... what kingston and portmore need now is a train system so people have the option not to drive (buses get stuck in traffic).... Dominican Republic and Panama now have subways.... Even Addis Abba has an elevated trolley train

This is extremely expensive. I can get house for that in the US and you can build in jamaica for that. This must be for a the top percent of jamaicans. It wouldn't be bad if jamaica paid their people more.
You ain't seen nothin yet they are trying to sell land for 2.5 million with no water, no light and the roads not even driveable deep and I mean deep in the bushes of Jamaica.
if people are willing to buy it then it is not "extremely expensive"... they build it this way because people will buy it. Jamaica is expensive because it is desirable. Imagine if there was low crime - most people couldn't afford it at all.

They should have separate the half bathroom from the laundry room or put it in the corner of the room so the buyer could just add a door to separate both spaces if they want to.

Nice Layout and apartment. However, the storage beside the shower could’ve been a bit smaller so that more space could be given to the shower to make it a little more bigger.

Always enjoy your content hun..love the apartment it is very modern and homey. Price wise...its alot for the square footage. However, i know it includes amenities and convenience.
I love the kitchen but I don't like the idea that the dinning is directly in the kitchen. There could have also be a island and the back splash where the stove is. The counter could have been gray and white marble it would go great with the gray. I don't think the price is reasonable for an apartment but I guess because of where it's located it could be ok. I love how spacious and open it is except for the bathroom storage.. It very wonderful over all

First thing I’d change on this house are the doors! It nah click wid nutn! Love how the rooms are big and spacious with so much drawers and all. Very nice. Me nuh too love the bathroom. The grey/woodsy looking tiles are kinda ugly, needed a more energy efficient toilet as well. Other than that real nice!

You want to live in Kingston , you pay Kingston prices. While I think the market is a bit overpriced there’s nothing that can be done since it’s a free market. 35 mil not getting you a modern home in any desirable areas in Kingston.

Why is that when Jamaicans advertise apartments they don't mention the fees (like maintenance fees, for example) that come with the apartments? These fees are sometimes exorbitant.

Tori, yes. I don’t think Jamaicans call it HOA. In the US it’s called HOA, but in JA I think it’s called maintenance fee (haha don’t quote me, though).

That's crazy! In the USA, I bought a 3 bedroom house with modern upgrades, fully equipped for 157000. That's an apartment for 254,000. That's ridiculous, it's an apartment which means you only own what's within the walls of the apartment.

@Brian Abisdid Labor includes laborers and suppliers. Example A lot of things in that house is not Jamaica made it’s exported! Do the math is simple.
