These guys did a short notice small venue event in Santa Barbara during their tour for Return to Cookie Mountain. My friends and I arrived early in the area, saw them hanging out and joined them, and they were super welcoming and fun. I remember advising David Sitek to stop smoking so many cigarettes because there were a lot of people who cared about him and his voice. The venue was on a second story and I remember the feeling I got then like yesterday when the crowd nearly buckled the floor as Tunde jumped off stage into the audience to sing Wolf Like Me. TVOTR changed my life. Legends.
I think they might have been hit really hard by Gerard's passing. It was really devastating we lost him so young. They've all done solo stuff, but they're definitely dormant. I miss them very much.
