I got a pair of these and started freaking out when the upper layer began to crack and peel off. A quick google search and I found it was suppose. While my upper layer isn’t completely off, I really like the idea of a show peeling to reveal a cool design.

Nah they're painted in a different way, those dont peel but rub off. Watch his video on the LA to Chicago Jordan 1s. It's NY to Paris btw haha I get confused a lot too

The artist/designer behind this, g dragon, is kind of known for this abstract graffiti style. He often custom paint his shoes in this style and draw/smear paint on his expensive chanel bags etc and it became a trend. Not everybody's taste, tacky to some but there are a lot who likes it

I think this Airforce Peaceminusone Nike shoes is fake, I've seen vid showing how to differentiate. And naturally it is fine to redesign on it to bring out your creativity as it is so much cheaper n easy to get compared to the real ones, which even if u r quick to submit your purchase u may not even get to buy it as its so limited that only the lucky ones submitted the order n gotten selected from draw can buy it. So it's hard to believe anyone who got the real shoes will cut it open to redesign it.
The shoe was designed so that the outer layer would wear off with normal everyday wear, so I don't really seeing why there's a problem with taking it off manually.
there's 2 version of this shoe...Ver 1 outer layer is harder to peel than the Ver 2... GDragon even said so...i think this might be the Ver 2,as Ver 1 is completely sold out..i got the Ver 2 n its already cracked out from the box
