The one who tipped his hat during the practice was the group's leader, Bang Chan (Chris). He's just incredibly sweet and nice. Best leader ever! And he's responsible for most of the beats and production and songwriting along with Changbin and Han. They're geniuses, I swear.

According to them, these days even the non-dance-line members learn the choreo within a day or two (I don't recall their exact estimates rn), and Danceracha would generally take less than a day. And while yes, they'll smooth it out over multiple sessions, this is their full-time job, and they went through the grinder to prove they can nail this stuff at superhuman speed. We've watched them create and perfect a short choreo in literally minutes -- memorization and mastery is a huge requirement in their job. So they could do this within a few days, and we've seen them do just that for various performances. Considering how many dances they have, and the fact that they're often working one or two comebacks/albums past whatever they show us at any given time, they do indeed have to be able to memorize and master these dances in days. Practices just keep the recall up and build muscle memory.
These dudes are definitely talented I still think there dances look 10x better at there dance practices which is crazy
@@Twhy_Baby Yeah, the dance practices are definitely the best highlights of the pure choreo. Even the Studio Choom vids -- literally "Dance Studio" videos just focused on the dances -- while looking incredible, aren't 100% focused on just the dance without any attention toward the performance aspect.
@@Twhy_BabyIt's definitely better and clearer, but they don't exactly shirk their life performance choreo either, and do that while singing and rapping their crazy hearts out lol. Easy is by far my favourite choreo of theirs tho, if I had a lick of talent I'd do it myself just for fun

They did lift Felix up in the music video too lol I don’t know all their dance practices are straight fire. “Double Knot” dance practice, “My Pace” dance practice is great, “Get Cool” dance practice, “Grrrr”performance video etc.. I mean there are so many. I love Easy as well it’s one of my faves

12:30 in my humble opinion, Double Knot is their best choreo lol, Grr (Beware) , District 9, Miroh, Thunderous are my personal favs right after it.
On how long it takes for them to learn choreo: it usually takes them a few hours to a day to learn and perfect it, so yes they do it in less than a week. It obviously depends on the song/performance but Hyunjin, one of the main dancers, said this himself, he also said that he (and the others) have spent maybe ten hours learning choreo at one point.
The dance practices are not actual "practices" it's the actual choreo so you can see it in it's entirety bc in mv's it's usually not the focus. Also for live performances, the camera work can be absolutely awful so you won't even be able to see it well. This was the case for one of their performances for Domino and the person who MADE the dance was even upset with the camera work.😅

Welcome to Stayville I think it’s safe to say you are definitely a baby STAY 😌 but they do their dance practice videos at JYP and I noticed they actually don’t pick Felix up for Easy anymore I think it’s because he suffered a disk herniation in his back at one point and they had to fix the choreo and they just never switched it back

The dance practices are for their live performances so they are definitely different but they have the same parts in the video. MV stands for Music Video. They did lift Felix up 4:20 in the MV it was just dark so hard to tell sometimes.

To be fair they say Lee Know runs dance practices like the military, so I think they might have perfected this in less than a week. They've said danceracha takes a few hours to a day to learn choreography and the others take up to three days, so a week to get everything completely synced up seems a lot 😂

They really do make it look easy, bc the bust their asses! So, they did do the picking up Felix move in the video, it was just that there's so much going on, you missed it, lol! They really do a lot of old school stuff with the music AND dance. I think that's partly why they seem to have so many GenZ fans, myself included. If you haven't done Victory Song yet, do it! You won't be sorry. They have a special performance mv. Don't be confused though, there are 9 of them in that one. It was back when Woojin was still with the Kids.
You've got to watch Scars performance. Easy is famous among a lot of fans because its really smooth, but skz is known for the rough edged song type, so its pretty rare. And a bunch of similar once don't have dance practices or mvs.

Stray kids will forever be in my top 5 groups and they make sure that their fans are never bored. The MV's that came from their "Maniac" album are all bops too.
* As a multi stan I highly recommended reacting to the group Seventeen. They also self-produce their music and are are know as the "kings of dance synchronization"🤯

Definitely one of my top favorite dance practices (another top favorite dance practice being Double Knot---honestly can't decide which I love more, thinking Double Knot but only by a smidge--photo finish--both are fire). And it is one of a handful that I enjoy more than the actual MV. I love dance practices for full view choreo (see the stuff you miss in M/V), and prefer camera stationary (there are a couple DP that the camera moves a lot and I hate that). Oh, in this song, can't not do the claps. Love it! (can't hear the clap in the song but I've learned where they are and so they are)
I think you should watch the kingdom performances. You will get Stray kids and Ateez at the same time. And sometimes with each other. Trust me you won't be disappointed.
for most of kpop groups, it usually takes them about 2-3 days (especially main dancers) to a week to memorize their choreography, a week or two more to polish every detail and a month or two more to perfect the whole routine, especially with groups that release new songs/albums twice or thrice a year like Stray Kids. They most likely just finished perfecting this choreo within a month or two since this is only a b-side they perform as an extra number on music shows sometimes and focus more on their title track, which is God's Menu at that time. (this is based on observations I made with skz and other groups all together) [ There was also this case with SOMI, a soloist. She was on a show where she had to work with a few older artists. In the show, she was pulled aside by their choreographer to teach her all the moves to the first part of the song first since her parts were crucial. She managed to memorize all the choreography for the first verse and chorus within 30mins of the choreographer teaching her. ]

@@Twhy_Baby that's only a rough estimation since we don't really know when they started making a choreo for this particular song and when it is they decided to have a choreo for this song... but, don't be surprise. That's basically how fast most Kpop groups learn, fine-tune and perfect their choreos, even for larger groups. 😊

I think the reason they’re so clean in dance practices is because those are specifically just for dance so they aren’t focusing on EVERYTHING they have to do whenever it’s live, but even then they’re still clean asf.

If you want to react to music video (MV( and then the lyric video after you’ll get a double impact, the visual and then the sound and lyrics. It bits even more. And you really get to know each one’s name, put the voice to the member; and read the message they putting out 🫶🏻 highly recommend doing a double reaction to same song but both videos. Can even throw the dance reaction into it to, STAYS will flock to your channel to watch you adore our kids. STAYS Zara tight when we get a more fan loving what we do. 🫶🏻

You said in the dance practice part, that they didn't pick up Felix in the MV - they did :) you may have missed it. They do the same choreo in the MV but some of it is cut out due to other shots being done or zoomed in on a person so you don't see what all of them are doing sometimes. But the choreo that you do see in the MV is the exact same as what they are doing in the practice.

Please, please please try out Maniac, venom, freeze, Case 143, Miroh, Victory song is a MUST if you want some good ass choreo, Charmer, double knot, kingdom preformamce, the MaMa preformance. There are so many great songs of theirs that its crazy.

To answer your question MV stands for Music Video. And on top of that an MV is one where the company has spent a bit of extra budget on it. There are MVs, Special videos, and performance videos. Then there are dance practice videos.Special videos can range from street videos shot with handheld cameras, to superbly shot videos. The only difference is that the songs are not title track. Performance videos will have more focus on the choreography. And dance practices show all of the choreography with no special setting or production.
