I remember when I first subscribed to your channel it was called "Turquoise Cannibal Whirm" and I remember the speed through makeup tutorials with S3RL playing in the background and I recreated so many of your looks when I was in the peak of my emo days (still not entirely out of them but hey I'm a happy emo kid) The nostalgia from this video was intense but man did it bring back good memories. Lolllll I was that 2008-2010 emo😂😂😂 was 100% convinced that it wasn’t a phase, and yet... I no longer dress like that. Lmaooo. Still rep my past though ✊🏼

I was 2005-2008 emo, but within this past year I've gone back to my roots. I pretty much dress exactly how she does in this video. 😂 So I guess I'm not done going through phases and I've basically just circled back around. Tbh these outfits don't even look bad to me? She's basically wearing black skinnies and flannels and hoodies. None of those look out of place to me in 2018. There is much much worse "fashion" floating around in 2018.
My friends tell me this style isn't emo though, they say I'm more goth. I kinda disagree. Goth is different. Also I still listen to tons of emo bands like My Chemical Romance and The Used. I never really outgrew emo lol.

I actually LOVE what "Emo / Scene" has evolved into. Like yeah, there are no more people who still look exactly like this, but the style has evolved into pretty awesome and unique styles.

There are times where I wish we could go back to like 2009 when scene was really really popular and just about everyone looked like that. But then I also don’t want to go back because it was an era where Blood on The Dance Floor was popular.
Exact opposite, I feel so much skinnier by dressing like it. ( Maybe because 2018 ' s clothes is designed to kinda make you look curvy. )

I always believe that when the "emo" phase ends, you still have a part of it in you. Like you unconsciously dress in an alternative style way. It ALWAYS happens! No one fully grows out of the phase. XD I'm excited to see this channel grow more too!! I loved the outfits!!
