I love staunton's delivery at the end. Like, until now I've heard Lovetts just ignore the fact that he swore to kill a bunch of people right after he already killed someone. Staunton sounds shaken, but you can still hear her thinking how to turn this to her advantage
Wow, I have no words. This is incredible! A master class in acting, singing and theater. It is a crime that no DVD of this was made, the best production ever and no DVD, what a lose!
What is it Mrs. Lovett is saying near the beginning? I can hear most of it but it gets fuzzy after she says "I said to myself." Can anyone make out the end of that line?

She's even great in the beginning; the way she delivers her lines shows Lovett's chatty personality.
I am inclined to agree.
In the video you see she's also trying to get the razor off him when she says it, so she's also trying not to startle him.
Man I really wish this version was on Apple Music, my favorite rendition of this song for sure.
it is
Yeah you can hear the anger in his voice here.....
If it was, it isn’t now.
I don't know if it got removed, but it's on iTunes at least. I'm guessing Apple Music and iTunes have the same library

@Maicey Throckmorton The line usually finishes as "Fat's in the fryer, now!" but in this production she's cut off.
@@OrochiShiki _thank you._ it was driving me crazy.
