As an ex- On Air Personality my music belongs to the 50`s thru 80`s. Music basically left me in the 90`s! Love you guys for being so informative. Love your Channel!
Thank you much! There's music I love from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s and 10s ... I figure I need to just keep going and finding new stuff that I love. :)
@@chrisplusmelissa oops, I messed up. Melissa definitely doesn't look fifty. You both look great and I look forward to seeing you guys every week. My wife and I are in Lagos at the moment. If you ever come back to the Algarve... Cheers 🍻
I loved Tool and A Perfect Circle in the 00's so Puscifer would've been cool to see. Also QoTSA and Red hot chili peppers. I did see QoTSA in 2003 at a festival here in Finland. Now it's been years since I've been to any kind of a festival.
A nice tip for these festivals in Portugal is that in some of them (this was one of them) security doesn't mind you bringing small bottles of water and small sandwiches/wraps as they don't see it as a throwable item Also QOTSA was probably inserted in the wrong day, I would've liked it more in the second day
im going to the festival this year(2024), and its my first festival in europe and i was wondering what time Nos ends? since i have a very early flight to catch the next day lol
We have tickets for the first show this year, but no way do I want to stand around for five hours to see the headliner! Does it make sense to show up at 9pm? I may just sell the tickets at a loss. I'm 55 lol, I want to bring a chair!..and ear plugs!
Don't worry...I gave up festivals a long time ago...For me theaters with comfort and very good acustic conditions and PA quality.....By the way, I'm 63....
Your detailed travel videos are definitely good and really present so many of the best points of interest everywhere that you travel, so a lot of very useful travel information to be had. But I must say that the one thing that consistently bothers me in your travelogues is the (even though I know that it is coming) still-startlingly unpleasant clapping sound that is always dubbed in after the "thumbs-up" touch, which breaks the mood of the, otherwise, calm and even presentation, causing me to mentally cringe every time that it occurs. That sound, though a bit softer in this video, has, somewhat, detracted from the mood and flow in many videos, and I am sure that there are many who feel the same, thinking that it would be best eliminated or, at least, replaced with a softer sound (if you really feel that viewers need that sound emphasis at all). Outside of this I very much enjoy what you do so keep up the good work. - Regards, Chris
Thank you for the compliments and honest feedback. It'd make my job a little easier if I didn't put in the slaps when we thumbupabump. I'll try a few videos without it to see if anyone cares that they are gone. :)

(Correct me if I'm worg, but) I think Portugal is where there are more music festivals per square meter/year... not only in Europe, but in the world.
There's a lot of fun celebrations in Portugal we're finding.

Awe! 😍
Absolutely love these, you two Rock!
Thank you.
Amazing video sharing
You two are entertaining and fun. Wife and I are going next month - She finally gets to see Pearl Jam!! Thanks for the good tips and laughs.
Thanks for watching!!! Have a great time!
Omg red Hot chili peppers and Black keys on the same night!! Wow you two rock, literally- lol 😅❤🎉
I feel bad that we didn't get to see (we could hear) the Black Keys. Our concert-going stamina has diminished over the years. 😆
You both definitely Rock. You make us feel good about being over fifty😎🤣
Thank you! Technically, Melissa still has 5 years before she hits 50... so she should have had no problem handling this festival! 😆

It may be many years before we are at another festival. :D

I'm pretty sure it ends really really late... like in the wee hours of the morning.
Chris, pareces mesmo o Mark Hamill. Ou será que é ele que é parecido contigo? Mistério! Ahahah!
Funny you say that... our next or 2nd next video kind of relates to that.
@@chrisplusmelissa Ai sim? Que fixe! Todos os vossos vídeos são sempre muito porreiros. Continuem a fazer os mesmos.
@@brunomacedo7791 Obrigado Amigo!
@@chrisplusmelissa De nada. E parabéns pelos vossos vídeos, pois gosto bué.
Guacamole, my favorite Mexican restaurant (despite being “shopping mall”). The burrito is mandatory.

I think it'd be fine to show up at 9 PM. Don't think a chair will work if it's anything like last year. :D
Thanks!

I love Sam Smith That was fun!! Thank You!!
Do you own a home in Portugal or do you rent?
We rent.

Primeiro
Love your enthusiasm but i would rather have sat in a Dental Chair for 6 hours instead of listening to that Concert. You guys are great together!
🤣 so you're saying you're NOT a Queens of the Stone Age fan?!
So…. Was there a person older than you there?
There were a few. :)
