the spare bedroom will look amazing and yes the lighter ceiling will be better and its good to sand it back so you can see the wood grain . the mural is stunning i love the scene in the background in the distance it adds depth to the mural and i love it alla. the wine festival looked fun i know cherie will have got you all home safe with her driving

The jasmine flowers are so extravagant this year. The shape and size of it are impressive. The day you planted it I remember a small stick, large enough to only hold the promise of its future. Now it strives to take over the whole wall. I only imagine the fragrance in the air.

The garden is looking wonderful. In NZ Agapanthus have a very aggressive root system that will take over the garden. Even worse if you need to dig one out and you leave the tiniest piece of root it will regrow. If you are ever going to take them out of the pots and plant in the garden May I recommend you check how vigorously the plant root system grows in Lake Como.
I like the mural I think it’s lovely. The good thing is if you want a change you can just paint over it. Light colour on the ceiling makes the room lighter and bigger. Gorgeous terraced garden to eat your meals. Glorious. Wonderful festival pasta, wine, cheese, music what more can you ask for ❤ .

It's your ceiling. If you want it white, why not? Depending on your soft furnishings, I'd be tempted to add the very slightest of pink or yellow shading in your trees on the walls...just for contrast. I liked the old wooden cheese/butter presses. How was Cheri's driving?
