I can't bring myself to use one since there are times when the enemy is beyond their effective range, although too close for a "sniper rifle". It's those intermediate ranges where an assault rifle is better suited. That said, if I knew all I was going to encounter were CQB ranges, for example a house or other relatively small structure, then certainly a shotgun would be an extremely effective weapon to have since they rock in those situations. However, the game is so fluid I often find myself in a shit storm. It's for that reason I prefer a load out that will work well in any situation, especially those that are unplanned. Remember, the enemy always has a vote and things often don't go according to plan. I recall a number of times IRL where it was said we'd be fine. No enemy action had recently been noted in the area, etc etc. And Intel suggested this or that. Yada Yada. Except that sometimes it didn't turn out that way. In fact it seldom turned out the way it was 'suppose to'. Oddly enough, the enemy didn't get the memo, which has been a well known phenomenon since the advent of sharp sticks. ETA: I'm now going to seemingly contradict what I said above, although for a reason. One thing I tell people IRL is it doesn't matter what gun you have or what type of gun it is because it's largely irrelevant. As long as you have a reliable, known to function weapon, you're good to go. What matters most is TRAINING and TACTICS. THOSE are what will SAVE YOU! NOT your gun/s! You may have the best battle implements ever invented. You could have ultra advanced alien technology and still get your ass handed to you by those who understood and effectively employed superior tactics. Something Gen. George Armstrong Custer and many others found out the hard way. Hence I love it when people trash talk (Ghost war for example). It motivates me. 'No way!! We have our shit locked down so tight air can’t get in. There’s no way in Hell you’re going to get to us. BRING-IT-ON!!' I just smile when people say things like that. >:}
Let's be real, there's no purpose for a shotgun or SMG in this game. Rifles cover every range easily, an m4 or similar will cover from 0-400 meters effectively
@@cassiespencer6134 I think you're over reading what I meant. I'm saying there's no niche of range or circumstance that demands anything other than a rifle. An SMG is just weaker than a rifle, shotguns don't have the range capability. A rifle is all you need
@@milk1472 Exactly! Although I used a shotgun in one of my playthroughs to clear those comm stations which were ideal situations for them. Although an SMG would've worked nearly as well. But frankly anything will work. That is why IRL I routinely tell people 'Your gun will not save you! Training and TACTICS are what will save you! And I'm adamant about it because it's the truth. Tools do not make a mechanic, a carpenter or a surgeon for example. That said, IMO, the best all-around weapon is an assault rifle and is the reason they're issued to virtually everyone with a combat MOS and even some with others, myself for example at one time. I was a member of a FET, although in the Army, not the Marine Corp and was primarily attached to SF teams who outwardly didn't cut me much slack and expected me to keep my own ass alive.
Disclaimer: I know he knows everything that I said in this comment so please do not get mad have a good day At 4:35 a 556 (standard m4 caliber ) mag can hold 300 blackout (which the honey badger shoots) with no issues because a 300 blackout is a 556 cartridge opened up for a 30 Cal. round and the handguard is longer in real life.
The owner of Q Solutions is who made the Honey Badger. He's also one of the main guys who worked on creating the .300 blackout round while he was still the owner of AAC (before he sold the company to Freedom Group). The Honey Badger is actually NOT integrally suppressed, but Q does make several suppressors. Now the .300 blackout was made to burn powder within a very short barrel (9 inches or so) and was created to be SUPER quiet if you're running subsonic ammo. Great round for anything within 300 meters.
The originally made by Kevin of “Q” formerly of AAC Advanced Armament Corp. It’s his design that he brought from his old company to his new one “Q”. It’s relevant because it was designed to replace the MP5 SD with a suppressor attached with way better ballistics than the MP5 that’s super quiet
AAC makes the Honeybadger. The 300 black out round is basically the 5.56 casing with the neck cut off & a 7.62X51 nugget stuffed into it. They have both Super Sonic rounds, & for quieter fighting the have Sub Sonic rounds the difference is in the gun powder used.
You should test it against the MP5. To me they feel identical. EDIT: I tested them myself. According to my test they are identical in every way except range. Both killed in 9 shots at around 200m (extreme and tier 14) but the honey badger killed in 7 shots at around 100-150m whereas the MP5 still took 9 shots.
FYI The 5.56 M4 and .300 Blackout use the same magazines... That 50rd mag for the honey badger is a standard Surefire 60 that was developed for 5.56...
The Honey Badger is developt by Advanced Armament Corporationor or AAC. 300BLK is a 30 cal round, just like 7.62x39 but its been necked down to fit in a 5.56 case so it can be chambered in a AR-15 and same magazine, however the barrel and bolt needs to be changed. It has simmiler ballistics to a 7.62x39 depending on grain weight. The 300blk is ment to be used subsonicly and suppressed.
In case anyone was wondering, this is the Q Honey Badger / Noveske Ghetto blaster (they're essentially the same). AAC never got much further with the Honey Badger project, other than a fairly shitty prototype
AAC never got further because the engineers all bailed on the company when it was bought out by the Freedom Group, which has destroyed previously solid companies like Remington and Bushmaster. The engineers then formed Q to do more work on firearms and suppressors they cared about. The Ghetto Blaster is the exact same, sans handguard and is made for them by Q

If you can remember what the challenges were you can still complete them and get the Honey Badger. I was missing the challenge from 2 weeks ago where you needed to complete Silent Spade SNAFU on extreme with a pistol. I was curious if it would work so while doing this weeks final challenge i did it pistol only and got the challenge from the other week as well.
Irl the company that makes the one in game is Q which is the most modern version of the Honey Badger. (I wish you could take of the Suppressor to reveal the cherry bomb compensator. But originally it was going to be made by Remington but the guy who came up with was fired so a few years later Q picked it up and now we have this. The Honey Badger exists is a full length rifle variant as well. But am slightly sure you can remove the Suppressor, cause it’s supposed to be mounted on a compensator (called the cherry bomb) by QD Mount.
The cherry bomb muzzle brake can be removed since it simply screws onto the threaded barrel end and is not permanently attached, eg: pinned and welded. They use a taper mount and thus are compatible with their Trash Panda and Thunder Chicken silencers. (gotta luv their names.) They also have ports all the way around so no shims or timing is required. As a Class 3 SOT I've evaluated and demo'd all of the Q firearms.
The .300 Blackout is pretty much an American version of the 7.62x39mm, with good long range accuracy, while working with standard AR mags. That was the core design principle, anyway. This round is more stable when shot through foliage, penetrates more cover or armor, has good subsonic capabilities. Subsonic variety being a heavier bullet, that has just slow enough muzzle velocity to not break the sound barrier, making the weapon extremely quiet for a rifle. With a mag change you can go from subsonic to high velocity, then slightly outperforming an M4. The weapon can basically do MP5 and M4 which ever you happen to need, while also having high penetration. Don't get the Blackout-loaded mags mixed with regular 5.56. The rifle is likely to explode.
I totally understand the anger behind that guy you mentioned who complained about the silencer. Because of ubisofts stupidity of gun knowledge the barrel design looks like it can be taken off most honey badgers have the silencer in the railand have very little of the silencer visible
So... I am on vacation and wasn't able to get to the middle set if challenges done until today. after the last set dropped.... and now I can't do the last set. I got the mask and the challenges that I did where the same for the honey badger but i got the helmet... does this mean I can't get the Honey Badger?
Now I'm a bit bummed I didn't put more effort into getting it. Saw it was an SMG and didn't really feel like bothering with it. Incidentally, it's made by AAC (same developer of the .300BLK round, which is a .30 round in a 5.56 casing--standard M4 mags still work). Also, you keep saying it's a full-sized round and doesn't perform like it in-game, but the subsonic .300 does have significant drop after 150-200m (supersonic would perform more like an AK round, but why would you be using that in this package?).

Yo just to throw it out there for anyone interested, this version of the honey badger is made by Q, website is liveqordie.com and it is not integrally suppressed. The can is removable and typically uses their cherry bomb muzzle device and trash panda qd suppressor.
The honey badger is chambered in .300 blackout. It is not full power rifle rounds. It is the u.s. equivalent of 7.62x39mm in terms of dimensions. The subsonic round is 200gr and up but designed to fire out of a 9in barrel up to 150m reliably.
You can get the honey badger in a 16" barrel 5.56 as well. 300 blackout is a 30 caliber bullet but the casing allows it to be run in standard 5.56 mags. I've got a 16" barrel 300 blackout bolt action rifle and the round takes a total nosedive after 200 yards supersonic. Subs and suppressed is definitely the way to use the round, it's just such a niche round it's not really great at anything...fun to mess with though!
@@xTYBOx the honey badger is 9in integrally suppressed only. Yes you can get 16in .300 blackout but it serves no purpose unless you're going supersonic. The best way is a 10.5in barrel so subs function correctly and don't lose velocity in the barrel and it gets enough energy for supersonic to hit velocity good enough to do the job. The round is only really good if you want to use both types. Otherwise go with 5.56, 7.62x39, 5.45x39, 6.8 spc etc. They're less expensive, more effective, or both. .300 sub out of a 10.5 in short barrel makes for a really good brush gun for hogs when you use Underwood controlled chaos rounds or controlled fracturing.
Just to let you know, 300 Blackout isn't actually a "full size" rifle cartridge, it's considered an intermediate round like 5.56 and 7.62x39. A true full size rifle cartridge would be something like 7.62x51 or 7.62x54r.
In terms of combat effectiveness I really believe you should test against alerted Unidad troops because engaging Unidad, as oppose to Cartel Sicarios is much, much different...one of the reasons why I always find myself going back to my M4A1 as my default assault rifle, even in Ghost Mode, is that if I find myself unfortunate enough to get into a fire fight with Unidad the fire rate, handling, accuracy on the M4 spits out an extra round (that hits the target) more than most other rifles I've tried that is usually enough to put down a Unidad Heavy rather than stun him at the moment my magazine runs out... On campaign mode my default loadout is a bolt action (SRSA1) + M4 with a grenade launcher that way I can always handle any situation (long range +medium and close range sniping in Urban environments, heavy fire fights, enemy vehicles & aircraft, stealth, etc.) bad load outs not fit the situation can get you killed. Just my 2 cents. Would be really cool if you added in Unidad Effectiveness as well. Keep up the good work, love your vids! Cheers!
We always do it here because the enemies are stationary and yet alert. It's the most controllable environment. They rush us in this video because we were taking it closer than we usually do.
The honey badger replaced the mp5sd as a Pdw because they wanted a bullet that would work close and far away. The 9mm couldn’t do much past 100-200 yards if they needed it to. 300 blk does that and quietly
Only issue, looks-wise, is that the barrel isn't covered BY the suppressor. It could've been awesome (and more realistic I guess? idk) if the barrel could be switched out, between standard suppressed and a regular short barrel (giving it the look of the Goblin from Future Soldier).
You can do the second part of Silent Spade first and still counts for the Honey Badger. I did it that way. An AR with grenade launcher, mines and rebel support make it way easier. After it is done, you can do the first part of Silent Spade without worries. Hope it helps!

.300 blk and 5.56/.223 all use the same exact magazines! I am going to be completely honest in that I’m not 100% sure about the surefire quad stack magazines but any standard ar mag will fit .300blk

yes, all the challenges this month have included Silent Spade... but I figure cuz it's the new thing... I do like Archangel better, but you can only do Predator, Sam Fisher, and R6 so many times. I think it's alright.
your not gonna be changing barrels on the fly in a combat situation, plus why would you completely replace the entire barrel of the gun that includes a suppressor for one with I'm assuming a barrel with a compensator?, the point of this gun and how to play wildlands properly is to be stealthy.

Barrel of a Honey Badger does not include silencer (yes, it's a silencer, not a suppressor), it's an attachment and can be replaced. There are 2 official barrel lengths for HB - 7" and 16". The one that is in a game - has 7" barrel. And also, those barrels are compatible with mil-spec AR receivers, and it is as hard to change, as it is on any AR rifle out there.

Also, if you do not know why different barrel lengths available for guns, you really should learn how ballistics work. Next time before commenting use some search engines, 'cause clearly u know little about this gun and gun mechanics.

I've been testing the 9mm C1 at most of the bases and only getting 'Suspected' and this is on tier mode and enemy's close by. I'm thinking it has a built in suppressor.
Am pretty sure with smg/pdw their max drop off damage is about 150 but I reckon you should test this I would really love to have solid data Also once again great job wid the vid keep it up
300 blk is closer to a 556 round than an ak the 300 blk is a bottleneck version of 556 which is why you can use 300blk in standard at mags and lower receiver

I feel empty inside because I actually tried the challenges and got all of them done except the 3rd part of the first week the extreme operation snafu with pistols didn’t work for me I tried two times I’m just gonna give up if the next set of challenges if they don’t include the honey badger as a challenge reward again
we literally did this the moment it came out... so... like 6 hours before the posting of this vid or so.... but the series of challenges leading up to this has been the entire last month.
Those wont count towards the unlockability of the weapon. You would have to have done all SOLO challenges since Silent Spade came out (4 weeks) worth of challenges amounting 12 in total. If you didn't do those you wont unlock it and your only chance is to buy it in the store once it's there. The new shotgun (AA-12) will be the exact same from here on, so grind another month for that if you will. I already got the HB, so you can trust my word.
Also, to join a task force you would have to go to a website and join one. Unfortunately, I don't have a link, but many have a guide for it so search up if you want the extra points.

This specific Honey Badger is manufactured by Q, this makes it a civilian SBR. The AAC Honey Badger is the military/LE selector switch PDW both being chambered in .300BLK. So this Honey Badger should have the option to take off the suppressor. But Goobisoft don't know shit about firearms.
eriveragt r unfortunately there is two better weapons as SMG's go the SR-635 Apparition which is the same gun better damage and looks far better than we have the Vector Spectra another better SMG .
eriveragt yeah the SR-635 Apparition is the same gun as the Honey Badger, in stealth a pistol can one shot a enemy so why use the Honey Badger right ? If your using it not in stealth there are far better weapons like the light machine gun or assault rifle category .
I hope that for the ACS12, Ubi comes up with some actually managable Challenges. For me as a solo player, they were pretty much impossible if I didn't want to put 12 hrs into doing them. UBI PLS!!
So... i fiddled around with the color of the honey badger and apparently there is no "preset" color and apparently once you change it you can't get it back to the default. anybody else have this problem? has anybody found a way to get the default color back?
What is your favorite ‘tool’, that isn’t a firearm? Especially when you need/want to remain undetected. Mine is the explosive drone. By far! It’s so damn useful!! I call it the 'Honey Bee', due to the sound it makes. Nevermind the fact it also packs one helluva sting. >:} Need to get into a base or a room undetected and assassinate someone? Explosive drone. Need to destroy those Santa Blanca Submarines? Explosive drone. The conveyor belts in the Quinoa factory? Explosive drone. Want to destroy a virtually unlimited number of Unidad helos while hiding in a large Unidad base (for as long as you can stand to stay there)? Explosive drone. The ’Destroy the Truck Convoy’ mission? Explosive drone. Generators, SAM launchers or virtually any machine/s in any factory? Explosive drone Essentially, if you have to kill or destroy almost anything, especially if you must or simply want to remain undetected, the explosive drone is what you want to use. Try it if you haven’t already.
Im pretty sure that the class of the weapon is determined by the cartridge it fires, so to call this weapon a sub machine gun is total garbage since an smg is identified by its use of pistol cartridges. Every other game out there that features a honey badger classifies it as an assault rifle because it shoots a long rifle cartridge.
Its unfortunate, but I've never found SMGs/Shotguns useful in this game, since most engagements take place at long to medium range, and at close range most Assault Rifles when set up properly do a good enough job
Ehhh it’s a okay gun doesn’t really feel as pleasing as I thought it would. Also I don’t really like the m4 magazine that goes with this gun including the fact that you can’t change the stocks color. It leaves of a blueish color which is kinda annoying but not really as annoying compared to do these challenges.

@@milk1472 Exactly! Although I used a shotgun in one of my playthroughs to clear those comm stations which were ideal situations for them. Although an SMG would've worked nearly as well. But frankly anything will work. That is why IRL I routinely tell people 'Your gun will not save you! Training and TACTICS are what will save you! And I'm adamant about it because it's the truth. Tools do not make a mechanic, a carpenter or a surgeon for example.
That said, IMO, the best all-around weapon is an assault rifle and is the reason they're issued to virtually everyone with a combat MOS and even some with others, myself for example at one time. I was a member of a FET, although in the Army, not the Marine Corp and was primarily attached to SF teams who outwardly didn't cut me much slack and expected me to keep my own ass alive.

At 4:35 a 556 (standard m4 caliber ) mag can hold 300 blackout (which the honey badger shoots) with no issues because a 300 blackout is a 556 cartridge opened up for a 30 Cal. round and the handguard is longer in real life.

The owner of Q Solutions is who made the Honey Badger. He's also one of the main guys who worked on creating the .300 blackout round while he was still the owner of AAC (before he sold the company to Freedom Group). The Honey Badger is actually NOT integrally suppressed, but Q does make several suppressors. Now the .300 blackout was made to burn powder within a very short barrel (9 inches or so) and was created to be SUPER quiet if you're running subsonic ammo. Great round for anything within 300 meters.
The type 05,type 64, and as val are also good examples also we can’t forget the mp5 sd.
The originally made by Kevin of “Q” formerly of AAC Advanced Armament Corp. It’s his design that he brought from his old company to his new one “Q”. It’s relevant because it was designed to replace the MP5 SD with a suppressor attached with way better ballistics than the MP5 that’s super quiet
AAC makes the Honeybadger. The 300 black out round is basically the 5.56 casing with the neck cut off & a 7.62X51 nugget stuffed into it. They have both Super Sonic rounds, & for quieter fighting the have Sub Sonic rounds the difference is in the gun powder used.

You should test it against the MP5. To me they feel identical.
EDIT: I tested them myself. According to my test they are identical in every way except range. Both killed in 9 shots at around 200m (extreme and tier 14) but the honey badger killed in 7 shots at around 100-150m whereas the MP5 still took 9 shots.

FYI The 5.56 M4 and .300 Blackout use the same magazines... That 50rd mag for the honey badger is a standard Surefire 60 that was developed for 5.56...
The Honey Badger is developt by Advanced Armament Corporationor or AAC. 300BLK is a 30 cal round, just like 7.62x39 but its been necked down to fit in a 5.56 case so it can be chambered in a AR-15 and same magazine, however the barrel and bolt needs to be changed. It has simmiler ballistics to a 7.62x39 depending on grain weight. The 300blk is ment to be used subsonicly and suppressed.
In case anyone was wondering, this is the Q Honey Badger / Noveske Ghetto blaster (they're essentially the same).

If you can remember what the challenges were you can still complete them and get the Honey Badger. I was missing the challenge from 2 weeks ago where you needed to complete Silent Spade SNAFU on extreme with a pistol. I was curious if it would work so while doing this weeks final challenge i did it pistol only and got the challenge from the other week as well.
Irl the company that makes the one in game is Q which is the most modern version of the Honey Badger. (I wish you could take of the Suppressor to reveal the cherry bomb compensator. But originally it was going to be made by Remington but the guy who came up with was fired so a few years later Q picked it up and now we have this. The Honey Badger exists is a full length rifle variant as well. But am slightly sure you can remove the Suppressor, cause it’s supposed to be mounted on a compensator (called the cherry bomb) by QD Mount.
The cherry bomb muzzle brake can be removed since it simply screws onto the threaded barrel end and is not permanently attached, eg: pinned and welded. They use a taper mount and thus are compatible with their Trash Panda and Thunder Chicken silencers. (gotta luv their names.) They also have ports all the way around so no shims or timing is required. As a Class 3 SOT I've evaluated and demo'd all of the Q firearms.

The .300 Blackout is pretty much an American version of the 7.62x39mm, with good long range accuracy, while working with standard AR mags. That was the core design principle, anyway. This round is more stable when shot through foliage, penetrates more cover or armor, has good subsonic capabilities. Subsonic variety being a heavier bullet, that has just slow enough muzzle velocity to not break the sound barrier, making the weapon extremely quiet for a rifle. With a mag change you can go from subsonic to high velocity, then slightly outperforming an M4.
The weapon can basically do MP5 and M4 which ever you happen to need, while also having high penetration. Don't get the Blackout-loaded mags mixed with regular 5.56. The rifle is likely to explode.
I totally understand the anger behind that guy you mentioned who complained about the silencer. Because of ubisofts stupidity of gun knowledge the barrel design looks like it can be taken off most honey badgers have the silencer in the railand have very little of the silencer visible
So... I am on vacation and wasn't able to get to the middle set if challenges done until today. after the last set dropped.... and now I can't do the last set. I got the mask and the challenges that I did where the same for the honey badger but i got the helmet... does this mean I can't get the Honey Badger?

Now I'm a bit bummed I didn't put more effort into getting it. Saw it was an SMG and didn't really feel like bothering with it. Incidentally, it's made by AAC (same developer of the .300BLK round, which is a .30 round in a 5.56 casing--standard M4 mags still work). Also, you keep saying it's a full-sized round and doesn't perform like it in-game, but the subsonic .300 does have significant drop after 150-200m (supersonic would perform more like an AK round, but why would you be using that in this package?).

Yo just to throw it out there for anyone interested, this version of the honey badger is made by Q, website is liveqordie.com and it is not integrally suppressed. The can is removable and typically uses their cherry bomb muzzle device and trash panda qd suppressor.
The honey badger is chambered in .300 blackout. It is not full power rifle rounds. It is the u.s. equivalent of 7.62x39mm in terms of dimensions. The subsonic round is 200gr and up but designed to fire out of a 9in barrel up to 150m reliably.
You can get the honey badger in a 16" barrel 5.56 as well. 300 blackout is a 30 caliber bullet but the casing allows it to be run in standard 5.56 mags. I've got a 16" barrel 300 blackout bolt action rifle and the round takes a total nosedive after 200 yards supersonic. Subs and suppressed is definitely the way to use the round, it's just such a niche round it's not really great at anything...fun to mess with though!
@@xTYBOx the honey badger is 9in integrally suppressed only. Yes you can get 16in .300 blackout but it serves no purpose unless you're going supersonic. The best way is a 10.5in barrel so subs function correctly and don't lose velocity in the barrel and it gets enough energy for supersonic to hit velocity good enough to do the job. The round is only really good if you want to use both types. Otherwise go with 5.56, 7.62x39, 5.45x39, 6.8 spc etc. They're less expensive, more effective, or both. .300 sub out of a 10.5 in short barrel makes for a really good brush gun for hogs when you use Underwood controlled chaos rounds or controlled fracturing.
Just to let you know, 300 Blackout isn't actually a "full size" rifle cartridge, it's considered an intermediate round like 5.56 and 7.62x39. A true full size rifle cartridge would be something like 7.62x51 or 7.62x54r.
In terms of combat effectiveness I really believe you should test against alerted Unidad troops because engaging Unidad, as oppose to Cartel Sicarios is much, much different...one of the reasons why I always find myself going back to my M4A1 as my default assault rifle, even in Ghost Mode, is that if I find myself unfortunate enough to get into a fire fight with Unidad the fire rate, handling, accuracy on the M4 spits out an extra round (that hits the target) more than most other rifles I've tried that is usually enough to put down a Unidad Heavy rather than stun him at the moment my magazine runs out... On campaign mode my default loadout is a bolt action (SRSA1) + M4 with a grenade launcher that way I can always handle any situation (long range +medium and close range sniping in Urban environments, heavy fire fights, enemy vehicles & aircraft, stealth, etc.) bad load outs not fit the situation can get you killed. Just my 2 cents. Would be really cool if you added in Unidad Effectiveness as well. Keep up the good work, love your vids! Cheers!
We always do it here because the enemies are stationary and yet alert. It's the most controllable environment. They rush us in this video because we were taking it closer than we usually do.
My favorite setup is the crossbow and ritmo, but for long range I always have a friend with a sniper at the back lol

Just made a Keegan outfit from CoD Ghosts. The Honey Badger would finish the outfit perfectly!
Only issue, looks-wise, is that the barrel isn't covered BY the suppressor. It could've been awesome (and more realistic I guess? idk) if the barrel could be switched out, between standard suppressed and a regular short barrel (giving it the look of the Goblin from Future Soldier).
It's based off the sbr version, not the sd version.
I had enough after 10 times flawlessly completing the 1st mission and getting shot through walls and such in the second mission. I'm done.
You can do the second part of Silent Spade first and still counts for the Honey Badger. I did it that way. An AR with grenade launcher, mines and rebel support make it way easier. After it is done, you can do the first part of Silent Spade without worries. Hope it helps!

.300 blk and 5.56/.223 all use the same exact magazines! I am going to be completely honest in that I’m not 100% sure about the surefire quad stack magazines but any standard ar mag will fit .300blk

Can you also test the distance at which one can expect to get suspected if a round is fired? At least you won't have to do a suppressed and unsupressed test.

your not gonna be changing barrels on the fly in a combat situation, plus why would you completely replace the entire barrel of the gun that includes a suppressor for one with I'm assuming a barrel with a compensator?, the point of this gun and how to play wildlands properly is to be stealthy.

Barrel of a Honey Badger does not include silencer (yes, it's a silencer, not a suppressor), it's an attachment and can be replaced. There are 2 official barrel lengths for HB - 7" and 16". The one that is in a game - has 7" barrel. And also, those barrels are compatible with mil-spec AR receivers, and it is as hard to change, as it is on any AR rifle out there.

@@Maverick9k 1) yes, you can remove that silencer on the fly, it is threaded, 2) yes, it is silencer, as it is called by manufacturer, because by default this rifle is used with subsonic ammunition (while yes, you can go argue with them, sure, and rifle can be used with supersonic ammunition), 3) remove to use any other barrel accessory? Also, if you do not know why different barrel lengths available for guns, you really should learn how ballistics work.

I've been testing the 9mm C1 at most of the bases and only getting 'Suspected' and this is on tier mode and enemy's close by. I'm thinking it has a built in suppressor.
Am pretty sure with smg/pdw their max drop off damage is about 150 but I reckon you should test this I would really love to have solid data

300 blk is closer to a 556 round than an ak the 300 blk is a bottleneck version of 556 which is why you can use 300blk in standard at mags and lower receiver
For me, Vektor .45 ACP is the best SMG ingame.

I feel empty inside because I actually tried the challenges and got all of them done except the 3rd part of the first week the extreme operation snafu with pistols didn’t work for me I tried two times I’m just gonna give up if the next set of challenges if they don’t include the honey badger as a challenge reward again

You just have to have others playing with you, one doing one convoy and another person doing the other convoy
Those wont count towards the unlockability of the weapon. You would have to have done all SOLO challenges since Silent Spade came out (4 weeks) worth of challenges amounting 12 in total. If you didn't do those you wont unlock it and your only chance is to buy it in the store once it's there. The new shotgun (AA-12) will be the exact same from here on, so grind another month for that if you will. I already got the HB, so you can trust my word.
Also, to join a task force you would have to go to a website and join one. Unfortunately, I don't have a link, but many have a guide for it so search up if you want the extra points.

This specific Honey Badger is manufactured by Q, this makes it a civilian SBR. The AAC Honey Badger is the military/LE selector switch PDW both being chambered in .300BLK. So this Honey Badger should have the option to take off the suppressor. But Goobisoft don't know shit about firearms.

I hope that for the ACS12, Ubi comes up with some actually managable Challenges. For me as a solo player, they were pretty much impossible if I didn't want to put 12 hrs into doing them. UBI PLS!!
Check out Sgt Nick Fury . Trust me do it his way and you have zero problems doing all of the challenges solo.
So... i fiddled around with the color of the honey badger and apparently there is no "preset" color and apparently once you change it you can't get it back to the default.

Need to get into a base or a room undetected and assassinate someone? Explosive drone.
Need to destroy those Santa Blanca Submarines? Explosive drone.
The conveyor belts in the Quinoa factory? Explosive drone.
Want to destroy a virtually unlimited number of Unidad helos while hiding in a large Unidad base (for as long as you can stand to stay there)? Explosive drone.
The ’Destroy the Truck Convoy’ mission? Explosive drone.
Generators, SAM launchers or virtually any machine/s in any factory? Explosive drone
Essentially, if you have to kill or destroy almost anything, especially if you must or simply want to remain undetected, the explosive drone is what you want to use. Try it if you haven’t already.

Im pretty sure that the class of the weapon is determined by the cartridge it fires, so to call this weapon a sub machine gun is total garbage since an smg is identified by its use of pistol cartridges. Every other game out there that features a honey badger classifies it as an assault rifle because it shoots a long rifle cartridge.
Its unfortunate, but I've never found SMGs/Shotguns useful in this game, since most engagements take place at long to medium range, and at close range most Assault Rifles when set up properly do a good enough job

Also I don’t really like the m4 magazine that goes with this gun including the fact that you can’t change the stocks color.
It leaves of a blueish color which is kinda annoying but not really as annoying compared to do these challenges.
