That's a decent strategy. It's what I was doing before unlocking all of the characters. I'd get a good score on one device, then get another good score on another device. However, I'm thinking that the Cheerleader might be better overall. Even before creating this video, I wasn't playing the Pecking Order too seriously. I'd typically play daily, but usually only one run. It could take a lot of time to go from a 75 coin bonus to a 100 coin bonus. That's even worse for the top ten, which is a 200 coin bonus. Worse than that, I could wake up the next day and see my score beaten. Instead, I prefer the consistency and speed of the Cheerleader. She can get 25 coins in 250 rows. I'm seeing some pretty high numbers on the Pecking Order lately. The competition seems tougher, even on Apple TV. So, instead of 1250 rows on a maybe, I've been picking the Cheerleader. That's actually one of the points in this video. To Token Hoard, it means missing out on an estimated 9000 coins over three months. But with the Cheerleader, it's still faster coin collection overall than what I've been doing with the Moon Rock or Toothbrush. But even if not, I have almost 100,000 coins. That should be plenty. So, it does depend where you are in the game.
I think Merlin is my favorite character of the bunch. And based on the number of views on the video… th-cam.com/video/VYwVevL4clY/w-d-xo.html …it seems like a popular character.
I didn't cover the developer characters, so I'm not sure. I'm thinking it's probably character specific though. Do you not have the duck? Although, I'm not even sure if it's a duck. There are some Crossy Road unlock videos that are missing on this channel. 😄
Tokens are awarded for reaching the top ten in the Pecking Order. I think could also be an award from certain advertisements, but I'm not sure about that. I have the Ad Blocking characters, and I mostly played the game on an Apple TV, so I didn't get tokens that way.
