having already known a lot about MLS i really love this tournament! it allows me the chance to learn a lot more about these Liga MX clubs as well. i think its great for both leagues and soccer/football in North America in general.
The concept is good, but they should do home and away ties to Mexico as well, it would make the tournament a lot more competitive and fun to watch in my opinion.
As a new viewer to the MLS with no bias here are my opinions on the match. I thought that MTY was playing beautifully, the midfield and passing were on point. However they missed the goal every chance they got or TIG's defending stopped them in their tracks. While TIG had some major chances as well because of bad defending from MTY they completely bottled it whenever they shot. I'm glad MTY won in the end because I felt like they were the better team on the pitch. I also didn't like the dirty way TIG was playing tonight.
