We need more content like this in the internet space. The itsekiris have gone far & wide from home and as such, we need things like this in the cyberspace to connect to home from wherever we are.
This is fantastic, i am happy that my Papa was part of this. Rest in perfect peace James Asamaigor Eyeyideren Omadeli Arueyingho aka Krobo se se. Olaga Oma Olutieyin Lagos branch.
Oooh dis Songs reminds me of my late Grandmother Rest on My Sweetheart😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. Am a (Princess) From Northern Nigeria with an Itsekiri Mother. The Itsekiri's People are very important and Nice People. I really appreciate the Itsekiri's always 🙏
An undying classic. This are the kind of time defying mix of lyricism and melodiousness that defined the Itsekiris as an elite ethnic nationality. You don't grow up inspired by these quality and not summon the absoluteness to standout.
Bless you so much for sharing this record. 😘 Pls, where can one find these Itsekiri records again? - These are 👍🏽 treasures. The present generation they don't know how to do them like this. These are national treasures.
When I lived in Lagos, I lived in a diverse area and there was a mix of tribes. I couldn't speak Itsekiri but, I understood everything they spoke because we were neighbours for too long and you can help hear and understand particularly that it crossed into much of yoruba lingua. Now I've lost that understanding as I left Lagos as a teenager.
Proudly Itsekiri, my Mum is part of this group
Mrs Eko Alice Ikomi aka Ewule ♥, she is one of the backups for Omo lutieyin group, God bless you, very proud to be daughter
I am Ijaw from Egbema I love this even though I don't know what it means. Awesomeness
