These podcasts are fantastic, you guys do great work and deserve a lot more views.
CasCoin is minted from a hybrid kitchen bathroom combination by a real life cat.
So it's a NYC headquartered outfit 😁
Take my money
I know how hard working cats are, so I am committed to this. My own cat works hard on slicing little pieces of cardboard into a pile
@@lesabri Right? Mine won't rest so long as a roll of paper can be spun by busy claws + physics until it is converted to a pile of floor paper below an empty roll.
That feels like a metaphor for crypto but I was just describing my cat's life mission.
Can the cat be wearing a tiny cap, too? Please?
I did not expect Inspector Gadget to be linked to this scam😆. Crypto stories are the best
😂as you know inspector gadget can do anything so ...im not really surprised 😂😂
Gogogadgeto Fraud ✊
The questions asked at minute 18 are key. The answers offered are inadequate. If we do not figure out how these approvals happen we will not get understand the scope of the FTX phenomenon.
Sadly, we would need the pre crime divine to prosecute. Great discussion and handling of this.
"Why did SBF invest in this bank?"
Because it was previously named "Farmington State Bank (FSB)". FSB. His initials in different order.
No. They did it to boost cannabis shops which are sometimes just fronts for hard drug money laundering operations. This is not the time or place to make jokes. FTX was a corrupt operation and SBF should have been charged with RIVO.
I truly hope you never ever stop running the Cascoin joke into the ground.
It's 7am where I am & I am disgustingly awake all of a sudden for this!
If we have Cas Coin merch, can we get a Bennett Beans Blend + Crypto Critics' Coffee line?
lol supporters sound like bots. Maybe bots are getting more intelligent than supporters
If SBF had first set a trust in South Dakota and contributed to Gov Noemi’s PAC , then bought a bank in SD, they would have been fine
I just wanted to add on something to my comment about the sudden appearance of "pot shops" (formerly tobacco shops). I smoke tobacco and went in to one of these shops to buy an incense burner, to burn incense to combat tobacco odor (incense also masks marijuana odor). The clerk handed me an "incense burner" wrapped in brown paper. I unwrapped it and it was a glass crack pipe! Clueless, I asked how this incense burner was supposed to work. Then the clerk realized that I LITERALLY WANTED AN INCENSE BURNER. She told me she thought I wanted a crack pipe because in these smoke shops "incense burner," is CODE for crack pipes. In retrospect, that smoke shop was just a front for a money laundering operation.
I fucking hate Sam Bankman Fried. The FTX scandal is much, much worse than it appears at trial. SBF should have been slapped with a RICO case, and Caroline Ellison too. She is as guilty as Ghislane Maxwell.
And his scummy parents they literally gave birth to this scam
for some reason when y'all were explaining the name "moonstone" my first thought was "we really need federal cannabis legalization" and my second thought was "someone in florida is gonna do the 'black rifle coffee' of pot shops and we're all gonna have to be ok with that because america"
That feels like something someone has to have tried
Great research thx guys
Btw, The Moonstone is one of the first modern detective novels about a large cursed diamond called the Moonstone. So maybe a fitting name for the bank.
The hits keep coming and they don't stop coming,
This works as both a compliment to CCC's analyses/reporting & an ominous observation about how gd relentless scams + financial chicanery have been...
I actually understood most of what you were talking about in this segment. Thanks, will keep watching to be able to understand more about the twisted and dark side of people trying to get stinking rich without following the rules and without a care in the word of stealing or losing people’s hard-earned money
Thanks for your hard work and GREAT VALUES.
Great one gents 👍🙏🥰
You guys do great analysis. Thanks for all your hard work.
Always a pleasure to tune in 😊
Thanks for the extra details that are getting lost in this story
Another great video guys
Thank you for your hard work
IF I HAD CAS COIN I WOULD HOLD THEM
HODL

I think "average Joes" usually don't have so much money they can buy a bank, no matter their nationality.
BWAAAHAHAHAHAaaaaaa! I thought Bennet was doing an Elizabeth Holmes impression at first!!
It's not that these relationships are inherently nefarious but awfully suspicious when it isn't obvious why they would exist in the first place if legit
14k views with 14.6k subs, always good to see
I'd like to see higher numbers, but the ratio is good.
yay! day is made. thank you guys 🖤🖤🖤
awesome guys !
Small banks aside, guys, think North Dakota.
One of the North Dakota rackets has traditionally been the float that people could get from taking US Postal Service time to process anything at all to and from North Dakota. This is not the big deal it might have been in the 1930s anymore, but North Dakota is still an essentially unregulated zone, so you might find some fun stuff there.
FDIC is seen as more lax because they are generally regulating simpler entities, maybe?
I see how the rebrand might be considdered changing the bussiness but its really just the customer/marketing is changing business is still the same. Also from what i know the federal reserve is the one dealing with the money generated from cannibis dispensaries
Bennett is looking good :) you working out? Gotta exercise for mental health! I feel like markets are fucked right now -- something real fishy going on
Does the Prosecutor have this information??? Its seems VERY important.
This channel should be a couple OOMs larger.
Tell your friends!
@@CryptoCriticPod when I'm done binging!
I'm not sure that you should use the Anthropic investment as an example of a bad investment. That is investment has increased so much in value that at this rate FTX might become solvent again.
Westham!
👍🏻🤙🏻
The reason these banks are purchased is for access to the federal reserve window to borrow
If the first guy they mentioned was born in Hong Kong before 1997 (presumably he was but with crypto he could totally be that young), it was before the transfer of Hong Kong between the UK and China so he would have had British citizenship. Don’t quote me on that though the wording of everything I read is VERY convoluted legalese.
FDIC regulation mainly covers traditional lenders business who have a regional scope. If you want to operate with large range of products and international reach, you need to have Fed oversight.
He really liked the 90s amiga video game duh!
what is Cascoin ?
Why can you own a foreign bank, but when the shoe is on the opposite foot....
Marijuana banking? Fer whutt? Marijuana is a well-developed and fully financed industry. Legalization if anything reduces the industry's costs but there is no development needed.
Here in Canada there are weed stores everywhere wondering when the customers are going to turn up. Like there is some base of people who always wanted weed but were never able to get it?
Methiinks the promoters who put these companies together should be run in for taking the shareholders' money: fakest investment in a generation!
One of the FTX guys bought a house off Orca Island in Washington State? So it probably would have been the responsibility of that guy (I think it was Singh?) to manage that "investment."
Your picture quality isn't great Cas, compared to Bennet
👍
would sub to your patreon if y’all made one
How many Bahamian politicians were bribed😅😅
SBF is as good as the other ones except that his bullshit was not as self-sustaining. Remember, the one dude that tried to sell the metaverse to the world and how that degenerated.
#karlnespas
SBF and Caroline Ellison were used as a Catspaw for the Dept. of Dis-edu. The Dept. of Dis-edu. has a plan to eliminate borders, establish 15-minute cities, and create a CBDC. There are several vectors to be used for this to take place, I don't know what they would be, but income redistribution might be one. Certainly, the behavior the University Macaques, SBF, Caroline, and the parents followed this vector. I suggest analyzing the strategies and behavior of the $300 billion OTPF, which boosted FTX by $100 million. The constant focus on what SBF did wrong seems to be engineering him into stardom. After a presidential pardon by Trump, you might find yourself watching this squirming Macaque running for public office as a "business man".
I'd like to know more about mom and bros charity's and where their money was sent to.
You need menal health services before you hurt yourself or others
Why would Trump pardon him when SBF tried to bribe him into not running for President again?
We'll look into it.@@ibfreely8952
I know I would. The salient features are ignored.@@amandafaulks2515
Personally, you reporting on this issue is so biased it’s amazing that you can see past your nose.
😂😂 salty crypto bro
dumped all my $CAS coin because of this sh!tty banking deal...
This mess, is why I get real touchy about the stance some anti-crypto people that "If we regulate crypto, we'll legitimize it. So we shouldn't regulate it in anyway."
It's already here, and not regulating is leaving us in a situation that shit like this can happen.
Look at the Silvergate & Signature Bank disasters.
I'm not educated enough on the issue to declare but I take your point & will think about that perspective more thoroughly.
Besides, regulating it out of legal existence is also an option of regulation.
I remember learning of moonstone from y'all before..... Oh yeah, Zeke went and met that Moonstone Gadget guy LOL...
Another fascinating video! And a small request - it would help viewers like me if you included some simple graphics when you're describing the set-up. Graphics that include the names and connections of the corporations and people involved.
hivex rather than anthropic....ok, what is hivex? is that an crypto exchange angel funding?
