I gotta say, I feel envious that you get to experience this with your dad! You’re both amazing artists and it makes me happy knowing you two have fruitful conversations about art and the rocky journey that comes with it. That kind of support (along with the support your parents have given pre-retirement, ofc) is a beautiful thing. Thank you for documenting these precious moments! Truly wholesome.
Also, whether or not you decide to stay with ceramics and whether you create something for experience or for sale, I hope you can continue to have fun with it. I’m going with the flow too so I’ll be right there with you. You got this, Tiffany!

Wabi sabi! I love going into different creative mediums. I started crocheting after seeing Cheyanne, I had always wanted to make a blankie like my grand mother made for me me and this was the first serious dive I've made into it. I have 0.2% of her skill but I'm still working towards it. I wish I had started earlier, it's such a chill reprieve from the burn out ✨

I took a pottery class where a teacher taught us to throw, and I know her personally so for me I got a bit more private lesson and it's so very interesting to see how different your father is teaching you

Your dads work is amazing! I love the look and feel of ceramic dishes and even though they are unglazed and not fired yet, the ones he has made look so nice and so professional. I am so glad your dad has found a hobby he really enjoys.

I remember studying clay modeling and I can say it's a long process, it started out not relaxing but later I liked using the clay. It takes a lot of strength to separate the clay too. I didn't learn ceramics but I did learn about sculpting with clay; oil-based and air-drying regular clay. Thank you for sharing your experience with ceramics.

This was so sweet!! What a fun way to bond!! I totally understand the creative frustrations but like you said, try and explore other ways to be creative! I notice a lot on Paloma the peach’s channel-she’s always doing other different creative things and I love that because I’m always wanting to do all sorts of creative things other than just drawing and graphic design (my “day job”) ⭐️👏 you’re incredibly talented!! And so young!! Keep exploring and take breaks if you can!!
