Dont make the mistake of buying the WRONG remote play device for your PlayStation! 😎 What device do you think is best for YOU? The PlayStation Portal or the Abxylute!? Thanks again to Abxylute for gifting me this device so I could check it out and show you what its all about! #gifted
@@purepsxyes. It’s capable of doing it but maybe not flawlessly, this is probably why they are restricting it. Sony was really surprised with the popularity of Portal. Proper handset is coming playing natively PS4. I hope also PS5, I would be fine with streaming PS6 as they planning to release it simultaneously.
My pleasure! Are you going to pick an Abxylute up? Are you going for the white or black colorway? I love mine it’s a great machine! I was playing vampire survivors today actually on it!
@@purepsx possibly black one, was thinking to pick one for my younger brother for Christmas, he has the backbone and was thinking of getting the portal, but your video definitely gave me a clear winner on what to pick 😊
I found the ultimate way to stream ps5. I capture ps5 at 1440p 120hz to a pc with an elgato 4k x. Then I stream to my y700 lenovo tablet with moonlight. I also run a second instance of psplay for the gamesir g8 plus but i stream the ps play app at the lowest quality. I also use this method to stream it to my quest 3 but instead of moonlight I use virtual desktop.
Wow that sounds like an awful lot of work just to stream your games, is the difference that noticeable in quality? Also what about for gamers that don’t have a pc?
I feel like once devices like these either from sony or other companies can be sold for like 150 dollars then it'll really take off. But 200+ dollars makes me want to just use my steam deck instead
Yeah I said before the launch if it was 150 at launch it would have been massive but 200 wasn’t too far away; I was worried and expected them to price it at 250/300 which would not be good! How is the steamdeck I haven’t picked one up yet!?
@ it's great it's like the power of a ps4 but in a handheld with an ssd, and it can play anything that isn't blocked by anti cheat. Add in remote play for Xbox and Playstation and it's basically the perfect device.
I love my Abxylute but it is slow and the sticks are poor quality. I'm getting the Odin 2 portal which imo is a much better long term investment. The Abxylute team has been trying to get out a big front end update for several months and we still don't have it.
Can you set up a 5g 5ghz hotspot from your phone and test the abxylute network speed? This would allow greater portability outside of a WiFi network. The portal can do this, wondering is the abxylute can. Also I'm asked can you physically try this out and post the result please? 🙏
Yeah Abxylute works fine from a mobile phone hotpot, think of it like any android device you can connect no problem! I’ll also be doing a long term review just on this device so I will be sure to cover that off and more not shown in this video! Are you thinking about picking one up?
@purepsx that's great. I did consider one before but I ended up with the logitech g cloud. I regret the decision though because it only picks up a 2.4 ghz hotspot from a mobile so the performance isn't great outside of the home WiFi network. I game on my work break and I just use a controller on the phone

Does PS Remote play work with other Android Controller like Rog Tessen, Razer Kishi and Gamesir. Just asking
Just wish the Portal allowed you to at least stream from the Cloud on Remote playing your PlayStation 5.
Yeah that would be cool, supposedly the portal is capable of doing this so it would just need a software update from Sony to make it happen

The crew motofest! It’s great fun! You gonna check it out?
Thank you 🙏🏾
It's not available globally, however, if it supports PC which is good specially for your Steam library.
But again, not available globally.
