I bought one about 6 months ago. Haven't used it a lot, but seems decent. I do have the folder that has the micarta handles and matches the fixed blade. Ive used that one quite a bit and it's done well on everything from toenails to cardboard

Peterbuilt knife guy beat the hell out of his and it came through with flying colors. I have not pulled the trigger on one yet. For the steel, I think it’s a bit expensive. Still a good knife for anyone looking to purchase something off the Walmart shelf in my opinion. Especially if you take a trip to Walmart with the wife or family….. sneak in that knife purchase….. 😊

I agree that for $40 there's better options on the web but if you're not a knife nut and just browsing through Walmart, I think it's a great buy. Nobody is using aus8 anymore but it is still better than 440a that the majority of Walmart knives are made of.
Sidenote: you sold me on the Eafengrow ef137 😂

    • @avdmustang

@@LegionTacticoolCutlery can you recommend a fixed blade around this price that can take a beating as well as this one does for 40 dollars? If you haven't yet, check out the abuse Peterbuilt knife guy put this through. For the toughness factor alone, it's an outstanding knife regardless of the steel. I'm sure there are better bushcraft knives out there and better slicers with better steel. But holy smokes the Swiss tech is a freakin a tank.

I don’t know why but, I was looking at the same knife through the glass case at Walmart. It was near closing so I didn’t get a chance to check it out. It’s not like I need another knife 😂
I carry a Ka-Bar Becker Crewman. It’s a heavy duty knife & it lives mostly in my pack. I’ve been checking out other knives as a possible EDC, & the Swiss tech sparked my interest. That’s how I saw this video. I have been looking at more KA-BAR Knives I’m not sure what oI want yet.
I’m surprised the Swiss tech did so well. I thought the blade was a bit short for a batoning wood but, it did pretty good for how small it is. I wouldn’t use it for that I’d use a bigger knife. Though it looks like it would work for what I would need it for & then some.
    Good video 👍

Pretty decent knife there brother for $40. The shock was evident as the handle could do with a more solid base but we can't have everything. The tip still handled a butt kicking so all and all, a solid knife.. 💪 👊

Hell yeah! Reaper's back at it! I missed your videos man! Not sure why that company calls themselves Swisstech though when they make their stuff in china. The shock is a clear indicator that the handle is not actual micarta. I have never felt shock from micarta. Then again, it is made in china so I doubt any of the materials are what it says on the box but the steel did perform like AUS8 so I'll give this one a bit of slack
