Joe and Connor discuss the #Jets offensive staff, Aaron Rodgers timeline and WR2 in 2025... FULL episode at www.patreon.com/BadlandsTOJ LIVE show tickets at www.badlandsto...
I can’t imagine Rodgers wants to go out with the past season as his last. If he feels he’s healthy enough, he’ll want to come back. I also see him adjusting the contract and giving in a lot on a lot of issues to Glenn and the new staff. Also let’s not kid ourselves, no one is going to trade for him. My bet is he’s back and he’s much more in the flow of what the new regime wants from him. Or maybe I’m just wishful thinking.
If I have any suggestions for you guys it’s this…… can we get the whole episode rather than the 15 minute ones that cut off in the middle of the thought. When I’m driving it’s tough to go find the rest
Rodgers had no team or coaching and was fresh off a major injury and a year absent from football so was obviously rusty and getting healthy, last year defense and special teams performance they would of had winning season if he played the way he played this year
I'm fine with Rodgers or moving on but this take ain't it. He picked to come here because of Hackett and connection with Saleh and Laflauer. Rodgers failed to make Hackett look good. Which we knew that was going to have to be the case. The offense looked like it was two decades outdated.
I highkey hate that the clips for this channel almost always end by just cutting off abruptly mid sentence. Do you need an editor? I’ll do it if I have to just bring some peace to my life.
Are you serious? Might as well bring back Tyron Smith with that logic. Bottom 10 offense with Rodgers. Bottom 10 offense with Tyrod - deal with the reality of what is
It’s only stupid if you think you might be getting the average Aaron Rodgers, rather than what we saw last year - the worst we’ll ever see of Aaron Rodgers
no he isn't. He put up almost all those stats in garbage time and took so many sacks to preserve lower INT numbers. The team was terrible under his "leadership" and next year you will see a complete washing up as he turns 42 years old. Jesus Christ go for a fresh start and move the hell on. You're not winning a SB with 42 year old Rodgers give me a break. This franchise is a joke.
@@Alex-kk3ny Rodgers has the best TD/INT ratio in football HISTORY. That’s not nothing! That’s not something to flippantly brush aside and say “Tyrod Taylor is fine to start for us”. I find it amazing how jet fans actually want to NOT have a hall of famer be the qb of their team. Especially this team…do you not remember the bullshit we’ve had to endure?! Be careful what you ask for my friends..I wouldn’t be so eager to have a Zach Wilson caliber type qb leading the team again.
They went 5-12 with Rodgers playing 17 games. He was constantly banged up, needed to be in shotgun always, and never threw anything downfield. What does he bring from what we saw last year that makes us think he’s going to be healthier this year, or willing to run Engstrand’s offense that does things Rodgers traditionally doesn’t want to do?
I realize there aren't going to be great options, but if the Jets bring back Aaron Rodgers, they're making a horrible mistake. You do not hire a first time HC, and saddle him with this 41 year old narcissist. They are NOT winning the SB next year no matter what, so why kick the can down the road?
I am begging this fanbase to live in reality just one off season. Sure bring back Rodgers and DaVantae, win 8 games - more excuses for Rodgers and cap hell. I hope the new GM doesnt make social media based decisions
This is such a brainless take. How in the world are you calling keeping Rodgers the “social media” based decision? You are living outside reality. It’s the best decision for the team.
@dylanhawthorne4842 and when the GM does what any GM would do? Yall will get on board lol so let's just skip to that now. 18 points a game talking run it back. Mentally ill fanbase. But nah, this time you guys are 100% correct and all.the doubters are just "haters" Yup this time for sure. Keep it up
@ you’re spewing mentally ill BS. The defense was by far more of a problem than the offense. Rodgers just put up one of the best qb seasons a jet has ever had coming off an achillies injury with an abysmal staff. You’re the one buying into social media narratives and showing your bias. Don’t be willfully dumb because you hate Rodgers
Yes. Bring Rodgers & Tae back for another year or two. Bring them both back for as long as possible.

i think from everything AR has said he wants back as a jet. if he retires, it's because he doesn't want to go to another team

Aaron is that you?

They post clips from the full podcast which is beyond a pay wall. That's how podcast clips work for most pods I think
The video we’ve been waiting for
Rodgers has best TD/INT ratio in nfl history that means something! Kinda stupid to think sticking Tyrod in as the starter will be just as good.,

I absolutely have a boring life.
Meat and potatoes? No way ownership will be ok with throwing away a season. Arod is BEST chance to be a contender this year..that’s the way to go.
Unless they think they can get first pick overall next year for a Manning

Rodgers playing as your QB isn't throwing away a season? Based on what? Did last year not happen?

Hey Joe. Do you still have TDS?
