    I went TDY to Bruntingthorpe in 1956 from my base at RAF Lakenheath (USAF). There was little in the way of accommodations at the time, but they were building a hell of a runway. That was a time when the cold war was
    warming up!

    Good video Dave. Great to see these cold war veterans. My favourites are the English Electric lightning and valiant.

    Thanks for the great video, yours has the best quality! Question: are those aircraft airworthy? when I search for victor all I see is "Victor last flight" and that was like ten years ago.

      ik this is a old comment now but for anyone wondering at the time and currently no non of them are and the sad fate is some have now been scrapped due to them not being able to leave the site before the deadline
